Reperio 08:26Day 3 of my little escapade down to Albury, and it was up early this morning to tackle some caches along Nail Can before the sunand the snakes were up. After this I moved on to the Wagirra Trail and Yindyamarra Sculpture Walk collecting a few caches along here which made for a fantastic morning. Hello cristabel thank you for the cacheI had a great time walking around the wetlands this morning.I did take a longer route than I should have. This was a quick find.I found this cache during our Newcastle 2024 trip to see the grandchildren.Found on Thursday, 02 May 2024 at 0917**TFTC**
Beautiful morning for a walk on these trails around Albury Wodonga before starting work. Quick one here with a beautiful view thanks.
We really enjoyed this walking trail with lots of birdlife and interesting sculptures. We attempted to do the walk previously but the floods had the track closed.Thank you for the cache.
A glorious spring day for a walk to pick up a few caches with the geopup. We didn't see any danger noodles, but there were a plenty of carp even a huge gold fish and tortorises in Horseshoe Lagoon.

I am in Rutherglen for the week leading up to the Easter Mega event. Enjoying some local food and an abundance of great caches.
I decided to travel further afield and spend the afternoon in Aubury. Of course I stopped for a number caches along the way.
I really enjoyed this walking area. Lots of interesting sculptures, traditional caches and an Adventure Lab trail all to keep me entertained. I did suffer two DNFs but the rest were found without problems.
Thanks for the cache cristabel.

Exploring rural North East Victoria and South West New South Wales as part of the SPINZ team: Sidewaze, paddle chick, Isis58 and Nanzie from New Zealand. I’m really enjoying the landscape and seeing what goes on in this neck of the woods. All the different eucalypts, the pepper trees and other interesting plants. The colourful birds, some quite noisy and some very noisy. The many vistas - - beautiful in sunlight and shade. I loved visiting each and every cache and really appreciate the effort required to hide and maintain them. Thanks to the cache owners. Greetings from Aotearoa / New Zealand, happy caching and if you have yet to visit us across the ditch to see what we have to offer, do make sure you enter such a visit on your “to do” list.
Wow what a beautiful spot. Took a bit to spot the cache as it hadnt been placed back in the hint spot. Log signed as SPINZ (Sidewaze, Paddle Chick, Isis58 and Nanzie from NZ). TFTC

We all loved this spot and took a zillion photos to capture the scene. Thanks for bringing us here. Initially we thought the cache was missing but eventually found it somewhere else - replaced as per the hint. TFTC cristabel and kia ora from Aotearoa/New Zealand. #19,198
This is my first trip outside New Zealand caching and enjoyed getting this cache with Team SPINZ tftc
We are staying with friends and today we decided on a bike ride. After we had gone for a bit I got asked if there were any geocaches around. Yes there were some on the trail.
After searching around the frame I re-read the hint and relocated the search to the sign. Then after a bit more searching I spotted the cache it was here but not where we expected to find it. Placed it back as we found it.
Thanks for placing this cache

Nice quick find.
Wishing we had set out with the intention of geoing.
Turned out a perfect day.
Such an amazing walk.
We are excited to come back and finish the trail when the rest opens up (closed due to flooding)

We weren't looking at the GPSr as we were doing the AdLab, and didn't notice all the trads we had not done in this parkland! Well a good excuse for a return visit.
Thanks for his one today, Robmc.

#18,772. Had driven to this end to pick up Robmc who had finished the AdLab along the river. We walked back to find this cache. We will be back with bicycles to ride the area and explore more. Thanks.
Out from the UK visiting family and caching wih big brother Pprime. Off to Corowa for an early lunch today so thought we would have a little walk around here on the way. P had already got most of the caches previously but there were a couple of new ones for him to grab and I hadn't found any so seemed a good way to while away an hour.
We continued up as far as this one and it was another straight forward find as per hint before heading back to complete our circuit.
All in good order, log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find!!

TFTC. A great day for a walk. Hoping this will be our last day of enforced layover in Albury/Wodonga while Motorhome undergoes some repairs. Not wanting to traverse too far we came here to enjoy the River and a long walk for Hans. Except for one we found all we attempted.
Day two of my caching trip to Wangaratta. Made it to Albury last night and found a beautiful camping spot at the river. Today's goal is getting to Wangaratta, but not before exploring Albury and surrounding. Great area for some holidaying!

We out enjoying the sun shine and walking the river trail from the boat ramp out to the swamp, on another lockdown weekend.
We rocked up to this one to meet some people we know, so we had to engage in conversation for about half an hour waiting for them to finish talking and move on….
So after finally wrapping that up, we dove in and grabbed the cache, which wasn’t bad considering we didn’t have a pointing box, we had to use the force.
We signed our name in the last spot on the log book snd continued on our way.
Cheers

My last (hopefully) caching day out for this trip in Albury - only a 90 minute window but I wanted to get these off my list. First spot I checked.
Thanks cristabel for entertaining me at this location.

South NSW trip February 2021. Day 2. Fitzy_1965 joined me for a two day jaunt to Albury and the area to the West north of the River. We covered a lot of ground, but as we have done a lot of caching between home and there it has become the next area to spend caching time. There was a variety of caches scattered around, but the most interesting section was Monday morning spent in the Quatta Reserve, quite a few challenging caches and a wasp sting to remember it by.
Thanks for the cache cristabel

23,644. Found during a caching run to break-in albida33's brand new Geomobile.
Day 2 of our trip south. With a brand new Geomobile to test out, albida33 and I headed down the Hume cherry-picking caches filling in many gaps on our maps. After swagging overnight in Corowa, we hit our target for the day - Quat Quatta Reserve. After we finished there, we started the haul home grabbing a few more as we went. Next stop for the day. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one on our list.
Thanks cristabel !!

A very chilly day in the region today with snow falling nearby in Beechy & Stanley. Child free for a couple of hours, and what do we do? Find some caches! This one has been on the map for way too long so it was time to take a short walk and sign it off. A very cool frame and top spot. TFTC. Cheers.
Great hide. Was a touch hard to sign with rainy weather leaving the log a touch damp, should dry out when the weather clears. Took some rainy day pictures.
Lovely spot to enjoy the view and found during a break in Muggles walking past. So many people out and about today. Appreciate an easy hint!
Geo girl 11 fell over her bike after the find so we sat and enjoyed the view for a little longer!

Travelling north is via a rather convoluted route with a few detours, some back roads and even some backtracking as I went from cache to cache, and finding some amazing scenery, stunning old trees all made to look rather magical with the haze from the recent fires which is not a good thing. Enjoyed the walk but would have been more pleasant if the weather was a little cooler TFTC cristabel
Mr Tardis stopped by here this afternoon in the stifling heat to find this one. A nice short walk and a reward of some beautiful views at this location.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache cristabel.

Out and about caching in the Albury area and decided to target a few more of the easy to access caches available. They were all relatively easy finds with good coordinates. Thank you for all the work that's gone into the hides. Hope to come back in better health and do some more caching here at some point
Fantastic day out for a walk to find this beautiful cache. Found at 1pm. Cache in fantastic condition. TFTC.

Found 09:13 27/12/18 while visiting family. A really beautiful view of the Murray. Thank you cristabel for the cache and bringing me to this location.
Great day out and off the mountain to do a Duo event with AWOC. Foot and MTB Orienteering followed by a different type of hunting. Wetlands late in the arvo always lovely. TFTC
Found it! Took a few photos utilising the sculpture before moving along. Thankyou. Find no 1,111.
Well the mighty Murray River was picturesque today, despite the lack of sun! A quick find as we enjoyed a walk along the River. SL at 12.16pm Took a couple of photos, although not necessarily through the well placed frame! Oh, and we replaced the very full log sheet - all good again. #5383 TFTC cristabel
#3101 Enjoying a stretch of the legs with the geohounds on superb sunny arvo, before heading home from a shopping expedition. This was our second find. It took a lot longer to wrestle the log out from the container than actually finding it! A lovely spot to view the mighty Murray. TFTC cristabel.
Parked nearby and walked the 200m to the cache location. Quick find (hint helped) and a picture or two through the artwork and it was back to the car TFTC
After driving past so many potential caches on the way to and from a work trip to Darlington Point I got back with just enough light to quickly duck out and get this one. Hint made a quick grab - such a great spot - TFTC
Found it on our way back from the wonga wetlands in the evening sun. Even though my husband doesn't love geocaching he suggested the right spot
The Great Southern Puzzle Plunder plan had been hatched. ZQX, TikvaNZ, AngelG27 and I would travel from Canberra to Albury and northern Vic regions for a great weekend of puzzle finds and other assorted caches that would achieve various goals for each of us. Prior to our departure, we worked our way through a list of puzzles over a few weeks to get Final coords. We then departed Canberra at 5am and returned at 7pm the following evening, fairly pooped. I managed to find 50 different D/T combinations over the 2 days, 42 on Saturday. A huge amount of fun...and some terrible jokes and puns throughout.
And this was the 42nd and final D/T combo for the day for TikvaNZ and me. There aren't very many other Aussie geocachers who have got this total (about 5 at the time of recording) so I think we deserved a good sleep. Wasn't to be, as we up again at 6am for more. We're not hooked...really. TFTC cristabel

A Southern Puzzle Plunder was hatched a few weeks ago for this weekend with ZQX, AngelG27 and Fox in Jox. Much puzzle solving homework ensured with a focus on the higher D/T combinations, and also finding specific caches to fulfill the requirements for some challenges. The specific plan/route was only finalised over the last few days; start with the Nutty November series, pick off challenges and puzzles from around Beechworth and back to Albury, find interesting traditionals on the way that would help us qualify for a challenge to find 25 D/T combinations in a day, finish the day over dinner with a another Canberra caching team also caching in the area, overnight in Albury, pick off challenges and puzzles from around Chiltern and back to Albury, and finally aim to be home before dark.
We left Canberra at 5am, and found the first cache in Yackandandah at 9am, finishing for the day just before midnight. On the Sunday we started around 7am and left Albury soon after 3pm, arriving home around 7pm.
The mission exceeded expectations, with several caching goals achieved amongst the team. Our individual statistics varied a little, due to previous finds and other personal goals. I passed the 7500 finds mark and ended up with 48 finds on the Saturday (with over 40 unique D/T combinations) and another 13 finds on the Sunday (involving lots more walking). Overall we found about half the pool of puzzles and challenges we had pre-prepared as possibilities, so we'll be back again sometime.
This was my 48th and last find for the day. Fox in Jox and I decided to see how many more D/T combinations we could squeeze in before midnight as we were up to 38, and the opportunity to get this high may not happen again for a while. This was #42 combination for us. Quickly found. TFTC.

Another evening caching trip with 2 of the kids and geo dad. What a view, could've sat and looked at it for hours, except for the paper wasps.. log signed and returned as found. Tftc
