Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. Spending the day sightseeing in Victor Harbour on a cold, blustery but dry day. TFTC. LNCU

A very quiet location here, cache was easily found after a lap and the container is all goodThis weekend Courtneyrose_ and I headed down to Victor Harbour for the Victor Harbour 10k fun run, whilst here we did parkrun plus find a few caches around the area yet to be found. Thanks for the cache

You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! My partner and I have taken a drive to Victor to pass the time.
I found and didn’t find many caches. Now for some dinner!

Took me a while to find, liked the hiding spot.

Easy find but might need a bit of maintenance

Found out caching with Wollaston. Nearly didn’t attempt this one, a neighbour was overlooking the zone, we waited and wandered, he disappeared back inside and we made the find.

7years of full time travelling and we have only been to Victor Harbor once when we were staying in Kuitpo Forest in 2014. Time for a longer stay this year.

Ducked out to find a few caches after lunch in the freezing wind today.

Been doing a lot of wall building at home and my muscles were aching. Time for a day off to do some caching and chill. So I called up Anymules and we met down at Victor Harbor to continue where we left off when our last day was cut short by an impending 5 day covid lockdown! I think I will rename Victor Harbor after today to Micro Harbor. I had brought several TBs to leave in caches down here but it took all day to find suitable sized ones. Just saying. [:o)]

No snakes or rabbits seen but I did find the cache. Mind you I had to slither in like a snake to reach the cache. Grabbed the TB and left a small geocoin.

Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]

Having made plans about a week ago to go caching with ttrogg today[^], I messed things up this morning by solving a puzzle[?] and hence totally changing our day[^]
In the words of 'Peter Plus' from many years ago 'didn't we have a lovely time, the day we went to Victor!'
6 caches found[^] and 1 was a FTF, I even found a previous DNF too[^]
Rex enjoyed the wind and walks and we were home again before 4pm[^]
It was a lovely cool day and very windy, just the perfect day for caching[:X][^]
I got to play passenger today, too, as ttrogg kindly took his car[:X] and the 'protect the rear seat' from Rex blanket[^] was spread out over the lush leather[^]

ttrogg made the quick find here[:X] as he is more agile and nimble than me
Rex ignored the young Magpies[^] but he sure was watching for rabbits and kangaroos, deep into the woods!

We are staying in Victor Harbour for the weekend to celebrate our milestone (60/50) birthdays. We were supposed to be doing an Italian themed weekend but that didn’t work out so staying at an Airbnb and doing a lunch at a winery tomorrow. Just tucking into a glass of Mumm champers now as we write up our logs. We don’t have the hound so going over to Granite Island to collect the caches there. We had the most amazing lunch at the Island Cafe over there what a pleasant surprise delicious food and live music. Then we went on to Goolwa for coffee and cake. Super day out.
This one is very close to our Airbnb so had to find it before heading home for champers TFTC nice hide

Rabbits

We ventured into the forest and found the one item that fitted what we were hunting. The cache was found in good condition. SL TFTC

I had come down to Victor Harbor for an event on Granite Island and when that had finished I decided to get a few caches before I went home. [^]
I stopped off here and started following the GPSr until I got to the right tree, then the GPSr decided to have a hissy fit and had me going further away so I stopped looking at that and just looked at possible hiding places and before long I spotted the cache.

Not quite where was meant to be but nice spot. Nothing to swap though. Good hint!

Found with my Shatzy while out chasing the last few for all the hidden creatures souvenirs. Took a while as coords seem off by about five or six meters, but hint helped with the eventual find. If the wind and rain keeps up, I'm not sure the leaning tower's gonna be leaning much longer
