A very enjoyable Event. Great company and conversation, nice food, and a relaxed pleasant atmosphere sitting in the garden area. As it got a bit cooler in the evening most people left a little earlier than often is the case with these events. The last few of us got to talking about the new Event rules - published start and end times, and the Event host must stay till the end. Then Jacksonz arrived to show why the rules should be in place!
Thank you Sophie for a lovely evening. Very relaxing, in the fresh air with great company.
Dropped by on my way home from Slowpitch Softball, and there were still some hardy attendees present. Chatted until event end time at 9pm - thanks for organising.
Thank you for another social event Sophie. Always great to catch up with old friends and make some new ones.
Thanks everyone for making us welcome. Hopefully we will see you all around sometime. Kiwiscot, Scottie & Kiwi
Thank you to everyone that attended, I was actually quite surprised with the location, whilst I had been and checked it out earlier, sitting in the sun, after work with a drink, and nice food it actually really very lovely.
Since I was coming to this area for the event, I cached all afternoon, ending up at the pub. The event was the best part of the day! It was good seeing lots of familiar faces and wonderful to meet the new cachers. I'll try to make next month's if I can.
Since this event was on this evening I took it as the perfect excuse for some after work caching in the lead up to the event. Timed it pretty well turning up just on six to find YK83 and Agazo already there. Others soon joined and we had a very enjoyable evening talking about all things caching related. Good pub food too. Cheers for the event cache!
Definitely coming after work ....maybe more like 6.45 .....have even done a recee of the venue...reckie ??,?
Looking forward to it thanks .

What a great pub, so much space I nearly didn't find the geocachers. Nice to catch up with everyone again and share a few geocaching stories.
Thanks for organising again Yorkshirekiwi83 !

A very pleasant evening at the ole Northcote Tavern. Been quite a few years since we were here. Lovely to have a nice catch up in the Garden Bar. Thanks for organising Sophie!!
Dad is willing to have his arm twisted up his back to attend this meeting on the promise he can have a beer.
Damn, I really wanted to do a catch up event and get to know some fellow cachers but unfortunately I already have something on that night Maybe next month
Rats! I will miss your event by two days. We will be in Auckland on the 24th, ending a cruise that begins in Sydney. We will be leaving very early in the morning of the 25th for our trip home to Tennessee, USA.
The Bramble in Onehunga would be a great venue!
Or perhaps The Onehunga Café? (fresh and trendy and funky, like Onehunga)
Did I mention how awesome Onehunga is, and how many cool caches there are in Onehunga?
