Out and about again, Gridge98 landed in Perth and I volunteered to go caching with him. Gridge was after filling in some LGAs he needed. So we headed east of the city then south to Byford. Then headed back north via Southern River and Canning Vale. To finish off the day we saw a FTF pop up around Lake Monger and then did all the other new multis around the lake.Fortunately we had 4 DNFs along the way. This cache is find number - 16827.Thanks to katant for the caches I have found.
Bloody nano, burn down the nano factory and exterminate anyone that hides themBack in Perth for work and with today it was a good opportunity to get out and about. So headed out with Leg5 for a day out to the south easter suburbs finding of his unfound as we went before heading up north for an FTF. Just over 20 finds for the day. Thanks for the cache
FINALLYYYY!!!Beginner hunter, went looking with my girlfriend in the rain at the end of August and left empty handed before she flew out to Spain for a month. Down but not defeated we knew it would be the first one wed come back to find when she got back and here we are!!!Find number 4, lets go!!!!!!
Checked the cache this morning, and apart from the log being slightly moist (due to winter), its ok and still in its original position. Happy caching
I will visit again around noon time. Too many park goers after work and school time.
Took a while under the watchful eyes of a nearby muggle. Got it in the end. This is my 1094th find!Of course I have to add song lyricsWe were born in the valleyOf the dead and the wickedThat our father's father foundAnd where we laid him downWe were born in the shadowOf the crimes of our fathersBlood was our inheritanceNo, we did not ask for thisWill you lead me?We were young when we heard you callOur names in the silenceLike a fire in the darkLike a sword upon our heartsWe came down to the waterAnd we begged for forgivenessShadows lurking close behindWe were fleeing for our livesWill you lead me?### WORD OF THE MONTH ###cataclysm | katklz()m |# noun #a large-scale and violent event in the natural world: the cataclysm at the end of the Cretaceous Period. a sudden violent political or social upheaval: the cataclysm of the First World War.# DERIVATIVES #cataclysmal | -klzm()l | adjective# ORIGIN #early 17th century (originally denoting the biblical Flood described in Genesis): from French cataclysme, via Latin from Greek kataklusmos deluge, from kata- down + kluzein to wash.
Found it. TFTC Katant. Happy to make a find here today, took me longer than expected. Replaced as found
Stopped by here while in the area picking up some new caches. Glad to finally nab this one after a couple of failed attempts when missing. Thanks katant!
Started hunting the likely places when we got to GZ and felt something move slightly as I ran my fingers along the host, went back to it and soon had the container in hand. After a holiday hiatus Tuesday evening Caching is back tonight featuring I C Nothing, monkeywand and myself. We started around Maddington and worked our way up to Welshpool before a quick stop off in Jandakot to complete the evening.Tonight I tallied 7 finds, 5 adventure labs and 2 DNFs Thanks katant for placing Katant's Cache "Maniana Park" for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 21:05 on 10/10/2023.This is find number 7761 for me.
Monkeywand, I C Nothing and Cirrus_wa out for another Tuesday night adventure. We found your cache easily and in good condition. Signed MIC. Tftc
Out and about with ICNothing and Cirrus_WA for another Tuesday night caching run.
The most difficult part was rolling the log up to fit back in the cache. Thanks for the new log. Unfortunately, I signed at #17 instead of #1!
Been out of the game a while so am pretty rusty. With people around it was also difficult to do a thorough search.
Had a good look and cleared out a lot of webs in the likely metal surfaces at GZ…
No luck for me today, but nanos are not my strong point.
Happy Aus day

G’day katant, unfortunately I wasn’t able to find your cache today (Monday 25/4/2022). Cheers for the hunt anyway!
Checked with a recent finder and it’s not in the location where they found it. Will need a CO checkup here.

Find 23 of 23 with 2 DNFs on what turned out to be the first day of summer - not at all dressed appropriately for 34c. My trip took in almost 18km ride and to any whingers about cyclists on the bike path - just take a bike with you. I had 4 people ask if I needed help (with the bike not the caches!!). What a lovely bunch of people cyclists are. I have to say there were some quality Bindi caches amongst the finds and some fave points coming your way.
Almost back to the car now. My heart sank a little when I saw the host but I sat down to have a ponder and almost immediately spotted the cache. Thank you caching Gods.
TFTC katant.

Definitely still there Thanks to previous comments I took less than 30 seconds to find it
Thanks katant for placing and maintaining this cache. Out in the area and had a little spare time so pick up two here TFTH
Had a good look as it was quiet, but alas today wasn't our day. Hopefully it hasn't been muggled.
Geodaughter RedRobbin25 was having one final look while I was despairing to her when she suddenly declared that she had it! What a super Geodaughter! Tftc
I was out with my parents ( teamlaroche) looking for this cache and after they searched for about 20 minutes I came over and found it within 5 minutes. TFTC
Nice park and playground for the kids.
Had to be careful for the mugglers and their dogs.

Back in action once again. Hopefully it won’t be muggled again as it is always the case.
I had to wait until a family moved away from the area then began looking for the cache. I wasn't thinking it would be a common nano cache but once I got low enough I saw the distinctive silhouette. It was tough getting coordinates so mostly the find was just by elimination.
An enjoyable location that would be fun for the kids while you searched.
Thanks

Thanks
Looked for 20 mins high and low all around the gazibo and the trees, no luck. Found a cocoon tho
The kids had fun on the playground whilst I looked in the obvious place, once I changed my perspective the cache was soon in hand. TFTH!
Me and two friends couldn’t find it although we were looking at 2am. Will come back to try again
No luck on this one again, I'll try again during the daytime when there should be better visability.
Find #291 of 365 streak. It took two laps before I spotted it. I was expecting something different so Im surprised I did see it. TFTC.
This had been a dnf for about a year. Today I spent longer getting the log out of the container than searching for it.
So pleased to have changed to a smile

Well I think the addition of a dog to any situation helps matters. I looked for a while, stopped to pat a dog then saw the blighter on the way back to stupid gazebo. Yay
It's either really well hidden, or its not there anymore, I looked for about 5 minutes with 4 others and didn't find anything
Hehehe.... here with the big Ryan family!! Found it first look!!! Lol.... tftc
Day 120 of our 366 day straight challenge.
Back to avenge a previous DNF. Thus time with an extra set of eyes BradyBunch18. Would you believe she found in 30 seconds? Anyway cache found in great condition, log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC.

Spent way too long looking for this one and ended up late for work! Will be back though!
Out continuing our smiley hunt this morning with Neva2old, we came up trumps with a nice quick find here TFTC
Another morning caching with Parkacruz, trying to get a few in before the rain. TFTC
Found after searching high and low with aimz23_93, eventually came up with the find. TFTC
Well the camo must be good. I looked in lots of spots high and low but could not find it. TFTC though, it was good looking for it.
We are home after a long holiday and back to babysitting. This cache is our newest granddaughter's first geocache . The log is very wet .
Found after a short search. Not being a local, I did wonder if I was sticking my fingers in places I shouldn't, but fortunately I encountered nothing to worry about TFTC.
