I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi davesnz
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

did not find. As the last geocacher suggested, this appears to have been part of it?
If I'm not mistaken this one is missing. Found this on ground and going by previous photo, it looks like part of the lid

Had to come back for this one as there was a child playing in the driveway of the house opposite when we first came passed. Thankfully, they had wandered off somewhere. Nice quick find this time passed. TFTC

TFTC! Glad to finally get this one. Log is soaking wet as someone didn't seal it properly. Replaced with fresh log in zip lock.
Found on a geocaching bike ride along this excellent trail. Soon found but the container is broken, has a hole in it and mice have got in. I emptied a lot of droppings out, signed and returned. Thanks for your placement COs.
This is the closet cache to where we are staying. Found on returning from our evening walk along the beautiful Wainui Beach, TFTC
Cache # 4,889 - a quick find with CelloJoss today. Enjoyed watching the horses across the street rolling around on the ground. A few cyclists whizzed by while we retrieved and signed the cache. All good here. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Did with The Wandering Dragons today. Lovely cycle path here, and sometime in the future we might explore the rest of it. Thanks!
Found it about 200m from site on side of road. Returned to site. Box broken but log dry!
The wiring box was tipped over, but couldn't find any cache. Kinda replaced wire cover
No luck today.
Unless there are other hint items that I couldn't see.
Next time.......

Weekend in Gisborne for the Daffodil Show, time to find some caches. Thanks davesnz for the cache.
Was caching with some family who are new to caching and as we reached gz I read the clue and had three adults running to the clue item. Good thing all was quiet this afternoon.
Found on my trip north enjoying the caches in the area. Enjoying my time in Gisborne
Off on a 5 day mission from Northland to the East Coast with the main target being the last two CANZ caches that I had not yet found. The opportunity to grab some $25 airfares to Napier was just too good to miss, even though it was winter and the days might be short and the weather might be dodgy.
Day one though was a real mission, with early morning fog for the drive to Auckland, untold time navigating the long Akl parking lots, delayed flights before we took off and then again in the air before we could land causing a missed connection for the rental cache mobile pick up. To top it off, the weather was cold and wet, but I still managed four caches in the dark.
Day four dawned much better with a cloudless sky but still a chilly sou'west wind. Our accommodation was in Wainui Beach, so while Mrs had a sleep in, I headed out for an early morning exercise jaunt along this cycleway. Was surprised how many walkers were using it this morning and so a fair bit of stealth was required before making the cache retrieve. No problems finding this one, as with the good hint, the cache was soon located. However, removing the folded log book proved a real mission, but eventually the log was signed and then replaced securely as found. TFTC

For my personal challenge of working towards getting my calendar on GC.COM to be at least the same shade of green or darker I need to sign off at least 12 caches today. I won't grumble if I find one or two more. Today I decided to go a drive out from Kaiti to Okitu.
I moved my cachemobile to Wainui so that I could access this one easier.
Cheers for the cache.

Day 4 of our NZ trip, and after a long drive from Rororua we figured we needed some exercise. We borrowed bikes at the motel and headed out on the cycle trail. Great series! TFTF Greetings from .
On a very wet day we had to grab some caches for the day before settling in for the night. Mr TW did a grand job of driving between the caches and managed some superb parking. Many thanks for this little series and we had a great job getting wet.
A quick easy find today after failing to find it two years ago when it was missing. TFTC
Found this cache today, didn’t try this last year after a string of DNF’s - was glad to find it easy enough at GZ. Cache in great condition, replaced as found. TFTC.
This had been a planned trip in the company of HKCB to Whangarei but as the weather wasn't the best in the north we thought we would bring this trip forward and head over here to see what we could locate as neither of us had done a whole lot around this area.
Leaving home 7pm Friday evening and returning by midnite Saturday, 954kms travelled and approx. 70 caches located along with about 8 DNF's.
Thanks to all the CO's whom have put out these caches for us and completing the maintenance to keep them going.
The start of a new day and after a few hours sleep it was time to see what we could find with the real challenge being the new virtual as that was a primary goal for the trip. With the light up and no rain the day was looking good for a few caches. With the drizzle and grey skys we had the area to ourselves, so with a little inventive parking and some quick finds we were off again.
Thank you for the placement, thanks for the cache.

patchy showers making this ride a bit challenging . must be time for an ice cream. tftc
This weekend had been booked into headed to Whangarei with Cats&Dragons for a bit of caching, but as the weather wasn't looking flash at all, so we decided to head East instead to Gisbourne as we both hadn't done much caching in te area. Leave home about 7pm Friday, and returning home midnight Saturday meant we got a fair bit of caching time in for the limited time we had. All up we found just under 70 caches in total, so a big thanks for all the CO's for placing and maintaining the caches we found on this trip.
No bikes with us so turned thes into P'N'G's. A nice quick find here.

Maintenance visit to site to check geocache. Replaced with new cache container and log in original location as per description.
Good old classic cache container...easy find. Log book OK. No pen/pencil in cache.
Had some DNFs along this trail and chose not to look for others that people had not been finding, however, pleased to report that this one is alive and well . TFTC [:).
I have an alert on my phone to let me know when there are airfares from Wellington to anywhere for under $20. A few months ago I booked a return ticket to Gisborne for today... $19 each way. My plan is to find as many caches as I can and then head home to the Hutt Valley in time for dinner. A great plan if you ask me!
The weather played its part too. It was forecast for cold with a few showers but it turned out fine and reasonably warm. However, it was even better in Wellington today according to the news tonight.
I had a great day. Unfortunately, many of the caches I looked for were in need of maintenance and some were impossible for me to find.
I had high hopes for this series of caches. It seemed I would be able to get a few nice and easy park and grabs to make up the numbers. Sadly, this was the only one of them that I found. The rest were a bit of a waste of time!
The cache is in good condition. All nice and dry.
Thank you

Decided to stay in Gisborne for an extra night as I was not in too much of a rush, having taken Friday off work I decided to come up to Gisborne and visit family as I was in the Hawkes Bay for work and it wasnt too far to travel the extra distance and it also gave me the chance to pick up a few caches in this lovely community.
After finding GC4KBGC - TJ's pot (Poverty Bay), this was the next cache that I had on my list as I was starting to make my way back towards Gisborne, I decided that I would go and check out the 2 caches that have had recent finds on the Kaiti to Wainui Cycleway.
As I neared GZ I was able to pull off the road and find a parking spot out of the traffic and not too far from GZ, and from there it was a short and easy walk to the cache. Arriving at GZ, it only took me a few seconds to spot the cache with the given hint and once there I soon spotted something that needed a bit more investigation.
Managed to retrieve the cache without any issues, signed and then replaced it back as found, thanks davesnz and stairsfambam for placing this cache here and for bringing me to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (13187)

On the road for our first venture into the North Island with our little caravan to explore this part of the country. It is not a caching expedition as such, but we do manage to stop for one or two . We’ve been on the road now for 23 days since arriving in Wellington and have made it to Gisborne, via Mahia, Wairoa, Napier, Cape Kidnappers, the Wairarapa, Cape Turnagain and Cape Palliser. Had a variety of weathers, but mostly ‘good’, until the last few days , we are waiting to see what Hola might do and fortunately last night was a bit of a ‘no show’, thank goodness. We have already seen and discovered lots of interesting things about our country that are new to us. Our travels lead us to your cache, as we travelled north, many thanks, davesnz and stairsfambam, for bringing us here. We’ve had great fun so far and look forward to finding a couple more caches as we travel on our way. TFTC.
12:46:00 PM. A quick park and grab. Log signed. The log is wet so replaced container upside down. Thanks davesnz for the cache.
Day 2 of a 3 day roadtrip with jgirl1880. Quick find, log is wet and needs replacing
Have replaced the cache where we have previously found it. Hint and size still applies.
Oh dear !! [:o]
The wheels have fallen off me cycleway stroll to find caches today
Stop number 5 was overrun by mowing muggles,
and here at number 6,
there was just no sign of a cache anywhere [:o]
A DNF !!

Travelling around the East Cape for the long ANZAC weekend and now reaching the home straight into Gisborne.
Saw this was a little series on the biking track so as we were in the car it was a quick find of all the series through here.
Thanks for the cache series placement to boost some numbers for our day.

The weather forecast was for a warm day, so we decided to take the bikes out for an early bike ride on the Kaita Wainui cycle trail. Didn't get out as early as we had hoped and the temperatures were already heating up as we headed out.
Hmmm, no way I could reach that, so luckily StreetWalker could, at a stretch. TFTC.

#11983. I had to really stretch for this one. I put it back a little lower. TFTC.
Just hadn't time to look for all of these so picked a couple. Parked up and soon over the road. A quick find thanks to the helpful hint. TFTC
While I was walking along the path The Anti-Cosmic Overload was ahead and had already found it. TFTC
