Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to TeamThommo for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

This cache had been opened with the contents lying all over, log all good, not sure where to hide it, so raised it up a bit.

GPS was not friendly but once settled it was an easy find. Container was a bit damp. Left a pathtag. TFTC
Satellite played funny busters with coordinated but found it ok in the end. Moisture problem with container but that’s common
We’ve been itching to get out and tackle a series of caches after a prolonged break over Winter. We spent yesterday solving the Auslan
Puzzles, but didn’t quite get them finished in time, so The Slog series fit the bill perfectly. We didn’t quite get them all done (whingy kids!), but we made a good start with only a few DNF’s. Thanks Team Thommo for placing all of these

Time to head home from this road trip. Stopping along the way in Bunyip, Garfield and a few other spots as well as a late afternoon check in at Lysterfield.
A nice quick find here. The fox was definitely saying… Wa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pow!
Thanks TeamThommo for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

Beautiful wattles flowering on the opposite side, nice easy ride to loft the COVID blues
Hardest part of this find was getting the lid back in. Unfortunately no coverage available.
Had the chance to collect a few of these while staying in Melbourne house/dog sitting. Strange thoughts in your head....
Thanks for placing this one TeamThommo

Yip, yip, yip. That’s what the fox usually says. Except if it’s Basil Brush- then it too rude to repeat!
Great to find a good sized container
We have had a very interesting start to 2021, but unfortunately that didn’t include the opportunity to do much starting. On New Years Eve we started the celebrations early while we were staying with our son and his family in Tumut NSW. We had a lovely day with a picnic and lots of fun with our grandkids in a local river, but on the way back to our sons place we heard that Victoria was about to close the border to anyone returning from NSW, so if we didn’t want to spend 2 weeks in quarantine we need to reach the Albury/Wodonga border before midnight. A quick scramble with us, our daughter and her family of 4 plus our 2 grandsons who were spending a few weeks with us for the school holidays and we made it with plenty of time to spare. A bonus was that we beat the exodus from further north and had very little delay at Checkpoint Charlie. We got to ring in the new year somewhere between Yea and Healesville and finally made it home around 2:30am. The following three weeks we had grandkids staying with us, and the boys are too young to enjoy long days caching, so now we are finally able to get out and about.

We did not see the fox, only a drenched koala inside the cache. Tipped out the water but the container really needs a little cleaning and drying, and some of the contents is probably doomed.
TeamThommo I loved reading of your experience that led to the creation of The Slog series .. hats off to you .. I could not have done it AT ALL .. in fact even though I haven’t completed the series.. I have completed all the required reading of your adventure .. how lucky you were to have seen a baby fox .. they are gorgeous .. and this area still looks a bit foxy .. we didn’t see a fox but we did see a bunny. .. of well .. it might be there for long. I was pleased to make this reasonably quick find .. except that I had to stop and watch the cows .. they were very friendly
On the way to pickup a few Silkies with n0w0rries.
Not sure how we missed this one back in July '18.
A nice simple find here today.
Last day of freedom before COVID Lockdown V#2 begins at midnight.
The GeoMutts are enjoying getting out of the house.
Thanks TeamThommo, see you shortly.

First find in over 100 days.
On our way to pickup a few Silkies with +Wife.
What better way to end the slump than by avenging a previous DNF.

Today was my first time out and about caching in 3 months. Muzza and I teamed up and my main aim was to reinstate my pre-covid19 goal to reach 1000 by February 29. Better late than never.
It was a successful day with only 2 DNFs and a deliberate stop at 999 to save the inaugural 4-digit for a particularly favourable cache over yonder in Toorak.
Cheers to TeamThommo for this series!

After a couple of months off thanks to Covid-19, today was my first cache outing. I teamed up with Kristy from Squiiix to hit the Auslan series. With great weather and only 2 DNFs, it was a great day. Nice quick find.
Thanks to TeamThommo for the cache.
Thanks to TeamThommo for the cache.
Today we were for some exercise in a quiet area and The Slog series provided just the place to get out of the house and grab a few quick caches along the way (while maintaining social distancing and good hygiene at all times), resulting in a safe and enjoyable afternoon.
I thought that a regular size cache would be simple to find, but I still had to stumble about for a while until I caught sight of it!
Thanks to TeamThommo for the cache!

Today's plan was to smash out a handful of caches on my way up to the event in noojie/ where I will be camping the night. So with the triple j hottest 100 on to be the soundtrack of today's outing I was off, either way thanks for putting the cache out and being a part of the adventure that was today.
Out with xambo4u, we were on a mission to complete the Pretzel Mystery series (which I didn’t solve all of) but was able to help find them. A great variation of puzzles to stretch the mind. We also did many of the Slog series.
A warm day with lots of grass seeds in the socks !!!
Easy find, but I didn’t see the fox to ask him what he said. Thanks TeamThommo

Out and about with echidna44 to complete our Pretzel journey - and pick up on this series. Grasses are long in the area and we are aware of snakes but its the grass seeds that are getting to us. Nice easy find. Thanks for the caches TeamThommo
This sounded like an interesting series of caches, so we decided to do a part of it with ilook4geo. We found most of the ones we wanted and each log had two more lots of initials penned on it. Some caches were a bit more difficult to locate than others. Safe parking was not available at very many of these caches, which was rather disappointing.
This one was an easy find. Thanks go to TeamThommo for placing these caches with useful titles.

We were on the hunt today with goingplaces2 and came along to do some of this series. We enjoyed finding the caches although a couple had problems. Logs were signed and we moved on to the next. TFTC.

Out hunting gems
I liked this cache.
I pushed through the trees and came out at the fence and it was like a different world. I could almost forget hubby, miss5 n master2 were waiting in the car, with the kids probably driving hubby nutz.
Thanx for the cache and the minute of peace.

Easy find, said hi to the cows. Last person left it not sealed properly so it's quite damp inside. Should be ok but may need a dry out. SL TFTC
Checked this one out in doing a maintenance run for TeamThommo. Cache and everything inside looks to be in good order.
Continuing with the 'slog' this was a fun cache and left me singing what did the fox say for pretty much the rest of the day! This cache was an easy find, all was in order signed the log and returned it where found.
Thanks TeamThommo was a great day out.

Being in the area today we decided to undertake this series, having previously only ever found Earthcaches by the CO, which we have always very much enjoyed doing because the CO always gives so much great information even if we don't fully understand it all - consequently we think they ALL warrant higher D ratings! That aside we are so glad we did this trail today, and as to be expected there was lots of information on each page that this time we could understand and relate to! The story greatly enhanced the trail and we were willing the CO on all the way around the circuit. Congratulations to the CO for a sterling effort and for having persevered and completed the course - you have our full admiration! We soon found this one once at Ground Zero, but would love to have found a Fox Cub too! We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
Caching day in Pakenham/Nar Nar Goon area for the day. Found it. Thanks TeamThommo for placing the cache

I was out and about last week and forgot to log my finds. I had saved them in my drafts but today they were gone! Well I know I had a great time, so thankyou kindly for a wonderful time. I love Geocaching!
** I fell in love with the large chesnut gelding here while searching. So friendly and when I asked if he like a scratch on the forehead he nodded 3 times. Glad I didnt find it, so I can come back with carrots and apples.
== I searched for 20 mins with no luck even with PAF. Ill be back when someone else finds it

The more difficult part was to find proper access to the cache, than the find itself.

Found it! A straight forward find, which is pleasing this time of night! TFTC SL Enjoying some delightful music from the Young Performers Awards as I drive around!
We're not too sure what fox said.
Fox didn't want to come out and speak to us today.
A twenty minute search only turned up one fox.
In keeping with the theme of beckNmonts log, we will say no more about that.
Our only DNF for the day and it's not even a micro!
Thanks anyhow Team Thommo.

Heading out to do The Slog series with n0w0rries and our Geomutts, EveTheStaffy and MaxTheCollie.
A few other caches were found on the way here and throughout the day.
This was the only DNF of the many finds in this series today.
What did the fox say? "....." Nothing much, he wasn't in a talking mood today.
We hadn't set ourselves a time limit for each cache, so we looked and looked and looked some more, but sadly no cache was found.
Thanks for the series and for sharing your experience with us TeamThommo.

Had a guesstimate on this one. GPS decided it wasn't going to play the game so it was a few minutes before this one was spotted. Would have given up on a micro!
All in good condition. Many thanx to TeamThommo

Oh the trees!! They can send the GPS all over the place. Took the geo husband less time to find than it took me to see it. And by the way find number 1800! Woo hoo! Well done us! TFTC and milestone.
Ring ding ding ding dingering. I think that's what the fox says. We say "TFTC" TeamThommo.

Driving past here working today. Cache was out on the side of the road. No idea how it got there. I placed it back where I roughly thought it used to be.
Yet another lovely day to cache after doint the shopping around for some other items required for the vehicle and taking care of some medication it was lunch and then we went to find a couple of cache. We ended up with 18 finds and 2 DNFs for the day
Thanks TeamThommo for placing this series for us to add as smilies to our growing collection of smilies
Grand Cache count = 804 total consisting of 750 Traditionals, 24 Multi, 14 Mystery, 4 Earth, 2 Virtual, 5 Event, 2 Werigo and 2 Letterbox.

This cache was our penultimate one for the afternoon; we had Raspberry Moo traipsing in at the wrong spot, making sure she had no idea where to look by keeping the GPS to ourselves. I spotted the cache along with Raspberry Vinegar from the other side to Moo. Soon found, signed and replaced.
Didn't see your fox, but we had a great encounter on the last stop with the rabbit that must have gotten away!
This was cache 8 for today, found at 4:46:00 PM.
A mini-marathon for us!

Enjoyed taking the kids out caching as well as ourselves.
I kept asking (rhetorically) why we ever stopped doing this.
He headed out to get as many as we could in the two hours that we had.
Again Raspberry Moo avoided the caching trail and battled her way through the trees looking for foxes...hahahaha.
Easy spot for the rest of us.

Apologies for the late log. I had some rare time off on a weekday afternoon so headed out this way to tackle The Slog series and a few others nearby. After a DNF at the last cache I headed on to this one. It turned out to be much more straight forward and after a short search I spotted the cache and was able to grab it. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and a great series TeamThommo. My eighth of 24 finds on a productive afternoon.

Super easy find with the sun setting off in the distance. We left a TB to have a few drinks with the Deadly Duck TB that is already in there. I grabbed a sheet of stickers from the cache for geobub. What a master stroke! It kept her occupied for about half an hour and the whole back seat is littered with cute arctic creatures. Thank you so much to whomever left the stickers. Bribery is great for geobubs.
Today we tackled this series which provided some challenges with a great variety of hides. Mrs "T" found all the hides while Mr "T" did the navigating. We enjoyed the day out and will complete the series tomorrow. An easy find
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

The fox I saw on the road said nothing. As this is a family friendly cache log, I won't say why he was quiet... After my pretty dubious start to this series it was nice to come back and well, almost complete it! I loved reading about your bike riding adventure. I will admit I'm glad it wasn't me on the bike! However, I must ask, did you place the caches by car, or go back for a second ride? TFTC TeamThommo
Nice quick find but i guess with such a big container thats a given dropped off a tb as well hopefully it draw some more people out this way tftc
The sun was coming down and just at the right angle that it shone straight on the cache. What??? Slog#30???? Hmmmm I hadn't noticed and we are 10 slogs in... damn. TFTC
Found with KrysLazz. Nice easy find, some winter sun made in an easy spot from the car
