A little research and I had a solution. Today it was a cool walk on a hot day. Once at GZ I missed the hide until I looked at the one on the other side and knew where Id put it! Coordinates were spot on. TFTC.
Despite it being quite warm, we decided to leave the air conditioned car and take a stroll through the wetlands for a cache. The open spaces looked very impressive with the nice lush green lawn that was all nicely mown and tidy, pity there wasnt much water in the lagoons at all, and what was there is very stagnant.Even though it was quite warm we enjoyed the stroll and remembered long archived caches that used to be in the wetlands here.Once at GZ, it was dad and the Princess who went searching with the latter coming up with the treasure and dad signed the log.teamwork makes the dream work.
This was a lovely walk to this cache, listening to the birds and frogs. It took a while to find this one as I was initially on the wrong side
Caching today with Weirdobiker, we were visiting some sites of the puzzles solved over a long period. I dont come to this area often, so I was lucky to have her to chauffer me around.I found the reserve very peaceful, and a lovely walk to GZ. What a great place to observe nature. It took us a while to find this one, discovering several frogs in our search, before Weirdo made the discovery. Thanks for maintaining this cache for the pleasure of the geocaching community, Thewins5.
We pulled this puzzle out of our to be solved pile a couple of weeks ago and set about solving it. After spending most of the weekend in Rosewood, near Tumbarumba, helping a cousin with some gardening chores, we came home through Albury for some retail therapy and to find a cache or four. All was very quiet in the Wetlands late this afternoon. We saw water hens, kangaroos, 4 fallow deer, but despite the spread of water and the many billabongs we heard no frogs at all! We walked the long way to GZ and SL at 4.45pmLeft: Sail on Home TB and took a shorter route back to our waiting GeoCruiser. #10,383 TFTC and puzzle NacSpaceman and thanks to Thewins5 for keeping it in play.
After completing the multi I made my way to this location that I had figured out with the help of a Pokémon enthusiast friend over a year ago! It was a quick find, before slowing walking back to the car in the beautiful late afternoon heat! Tftc!
After far too long track to this one is finally open. Lots of grass at GZ but tucked back in its hidey hole hopefully a few years before the next flood
I get these two puzzles confused. Amazingly this one still in place and log perfectly fine. Either water didn’t get this high or a well designed cache!
Hit Owner maintenance (instead of write note) by accident - fixed now
Checked again this afternoon - tracks still closed (main issue appears to be access to a bridge). Will continue you to check when things open up but might be a while.
Checked again this afternoon - tracks still closed (main issue appears to be access to a bridge). Will continue you to check when things open up but might be a while.
Final track open (maybe sign got washed away) but cache appears to have been washed from its hide. I will replace once all tracks open
Will keep watching what happens but it may be a while until the track is open again.

Wonga Wetlands is still closed because of the flooding - have time over the Christmas period to check all these caches and do the required maintenance
Access to Wonga is now closed - 14 gates open on Hume Dam. Suspect this one will now be under water but will check as soon as I can
Access may be limited with flooring (though one track was open). I will do a maintenance run when waters subside and check all caches soon
Straight forward puzzle… all except for one of them… PAF for assistance and all good.
Collected our reward today while doing a very enjoyable walk.

Out from the UK visiting family and caching with big brother Pprime. Trip is sadly coming to an end soon and have yet to visit Wonga wetlands ever, so that was this morning's planned adventure dragging a couple of muggles along with us for the fun and trying to squeeze time in with them as well as getting a few more smilies. Multitasking see!!
So many birds around here, also seeing quite a few butterflies. This ouzzle was a nice one to solve. W followed the gps and made a quick and easy find here.
All in good order, log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find!!

TFTC. Day 28 of our enforced layover in Albury as the Motorhome gets repairs. We had hoped to get away Saturday but that was not to be
After a sleep in, no mechanics work on Sunday, we headed out to Wonga Wetlands to attempt the caches in that area we had worked out one of the puzzles and started with the multi to fill in a calendar day. A lovely morning for a walk around the Wetlands.
We had worked this since out sometime ago.in the area this morning

Have had this puzzle in the solved puzzle for awhile, saving it for a day where we needed a local cache for a souvenir day 22/2/22. Today was that day. Nice walk after work. Quick find at GZ. TFTC
Have had this one solved for a while with the help of my eldest geokid. While completing a AL today I went for a quick walk to grab this one also. Thanks for the puzzle and cache !

My last (hopefully) caching day out for this trip in Albury - only a 90 minute window but I wanted to get the couple of solved puzzles off my list. I walked the whole Wetlands last trip, but didn't have this one solved back then. Even this time I had to employ the services of KaibreeAHH and ponchomon11 (who are very much into the subject matter here - and yes all but read the numbers off to me verbatim). Team work ! A lovely spot, and I wasn't too upset about wandering back across the Wonga (no wheezing though, exercise is good).
Thanks NacSpaceman (adopted by Thewins5) for entertaining me at this location.

While on my computer at home, working on mystery caches, I (and KbreeAHH) were messaged by Pprime (P`) on how this one might be solved as he knew that I have had some Pokemon knowledge after seeing me answer questions about them in a Trivia night at a Mega event. After looking through it, working it out, checking that what I had was right, I messaged Pprime (P`) back with an idea on how to work it. Happy to hear that he solved it (and found it) as I was happy to help where I can.
Finding out that there was a Pokemon cache out and about to find, I got a little excited. Pprime (P) had also shown me one that was/is located in the UK as well and I can not wait to finish solving that series and eventually (when safe) to go there and find all 151 of them. It might take me a while but happy to try.
Thank you Pprime (P`) for letting me know about this one and NacSpaceman/Thewins5 for hiding and maintaining this one.

Been a long time solving this puzzle, even longer that I visited the wetlands.
Beautiful sunny day today to be wandering around having a look about.
Great to be back in the wetlands again.
TNLN , TFTC , Cheers.

Wowsers this one has been in the solved pile for about 4-5 years I think, the Ez boys helped me solve it very long ago as it was an interest of theirs.
Stabbed myself fair in the forehead with a small branch whilst here today. Luckily seeing baby swans made up for it! Ha!
Thanks for the puzzle and cache.

Invited to Albury for a day of caching by Roostaman, and to add to a great day out - we met up with Rebel Acts. It started out with cool weather, and didn't get much warmer but the caching went on. Thanks to all the CO's for making this an eventful trip.
Some logs signed at RATDR - which represents all three teams - to save space on the log.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Thewins5, for us and others to find.

Found on a fine Winter day for another drive to escape COVID-19.
A fun trip to Albury for the day with The Drovers and Rebel Acts.
Some good safe hides and a few tricky hides too.
Not much trouble at this nice safe hide.
Cache condition is OK/good.
Thanks for the cache Thewins5,

We enjoyed our time caching this area, certainly was a great location to visit. Thanks for the cache
Went back this afternoon and had a look with no success. Have placed a new cache not quite in same location but actually closer to the coordinates I had in my iPad. Will edit the page to change the size of the container and the hint - is more in keeping with the other caches that are round Wonga at this stage.
This is the one I meant to disable. Wasn’t In the spot I found it, and has been a while since the last find (I will check and see if was in the same spot). However will disable until after COVID-19 settles down as it is not found often anyway (though more people should get out here ).
Found after it had a long snooze, still here and in good condition, signed and hid back where it came from, thanks for the puzzle and the hide.
This was one of the first mystery puzzles that I had solved when I started caching nearly 2 years ago.. finally cache has been found and logged signed. Ive just realised now that im home that there is a tb logged in the cache, i dont recall seeing one but I didnt really have a good look anyway... maybe the next finder can have a look.. tftc.. an enjoyable puzzle
Yet another one that google helped (though wasn't straight forward) and have had sitting for a while. A beautiful spring day and freckled duck had been recorded again at the first pond (cache safely still tucked away there) so went down and saw them (and the first blue-billed duck I have found at this site).
Once at gz at to wait for the masses of joggers to pass and I circled round and round with no luck (checked the usual spots that the wonga hides had been, poked with a stick etc) to no avail. Used the checker again and I was definitely right so looped again and then saw the thing out of place and cache was in hand.
One TB taken and replaced with another. TFTC

Enjoyed a very pleasant couple of hours wandering at Wonga. Terrific spot with much to see. Only a few other people around on a late Sunday in winter.
Google helped with the mystery. Collected a couple of other caches too. Left a TB.
Thanks NacSpaceman - wonderful place to visit and fun completing the challenge.

Haha the kangaroos were surrounding us like a gang and freaking shellumbus out and Indianagleeson had some kind of creature on his shoulder that he claims he removed in a manly fashion but it was more like a little girl squealing. Laughs all round. Took us about 40 minutes all up but we didn't take the shortest route. Tftc.
Took the wrong trail, nearly became Mrs Kangaroo, indianagleeson squealed at a bug and log in hand!
Tftc with indianagleeson red leader & fox 2

Bettyboo3747 and I travelled to Albury/Wodonga to pick up a few mysteries we have had solved for ages, but hadn't done anything about. On the way we collected a few trads too.
We had recently completed a Melbourne cache along similar lines, so we knew where to look for the information.
There are an awful lot of these characters, and some were a bit different, but we got there without having to consult any children.
A nice walk through the wetlands.
Thanks, Robmc.

8639. Robmc and I headed to the Border today in the hope of collecting a few of the solved mysteries that have been in the "must do one day" pile. I am trying to complete a Challenge this month so every Mystery helps. We also managed to collect a few traditionals on our way around.
I am getting to know these creatures a bit more now that I have recently seen them in two puzzles . A good little puzzle and pleased to come and collect a smilie today. Now we continue our journey to see more birdlife on the way to the car.
Thanks. NacSpaceman

Great rainy arvo out with the wackyweedos after 10 year old helped work out the puzzles. Great place for a Sunday walk. TFTC!
Attempted this puzzle when it first came out but didn't like where the coords were placed. 're-visited the puzzle this morning & discovered I had the long name for one of the characters - inserted the nickname & liked the new coords. Break in the weather this arvo & we thought we'd grab it with cristabel (I enlisted geonephew to check my workings this morn). Always enjoy wandering around here. Quick find & SL @ 3pm. Thanks for another great hide out @ the wetlands.
As soon as this one was published I had to ask our resident Pokemon expert, Benjamin, to solve this one for the team as this was his domain only. When he realised who's cache it was, that gave him even more incentive to get cracking on working our the final co-ordinates for this nifty little mystery.
Ben had worked it out reasonably quickly, but with all the extra-curricular stuff the team are engaged in most weeks it was not really going to be able to be attempted until the school holidays. That attempt was today.
After finding a couple of khanman47's caches at the wetlands beforehand, Benny grabbed the control of the GPS this time and lead the procession to GZ. After passing the clue on to him he mused over it for a minute, then thought 'Hmmm! I wonder...'.
His instinct was spot-on, and he soon had the container in his mitts. SL at noon. All good with the hide.
Thanks for the excellent mystery cache, one that the kids could enjoy, and the brilliant location at GZ. TFTC NacSpaceman.

I must say I haven't seen these critters since our children where in primary school. I remember when they first came out and all the hype that went with them. So I waited for the chilldren who are now adults to get home from university and they had the puzzle solved in no time. Arrived and GZ and there was no water in the lagoon today but as we walked around they were draining some of the lagoons into other ones. TFTC
Needed some help from khanman47 as to how best to decode the fiendish Pokemon code. Crazy little critters! Coords took us to another likely hide where the find was quickly made. Thanks, NacSpaceman.
Out for a day's caching with Mainebirds. Solved the puzzle after consulting good old Google. Nice puzzle and gets a favourite from me.
Needed help to solve the puzzle! [8)] A good afternoon walk to an easy find. SL

FTF gone 1530hr, surprised to get FTF but I'll take it. Solved the puzzle quickly when I identify the little critters there's hundreds of them!! The area was deserted today so it was quick search of GZ and the prize was located. Left personal PT TFTC
