Agree with others. Extensive clearing and earthworks have taken place here. Not even a hiding place for a cache.
Appears there have been recent earthworks just back here and it has greatly changed the terrain, the likely spot the cache is in has probably been destroyed or moved completely. A shame but oh well. TFTC
Earthworks have changed the landscape and area of the caches location dramatically likely the cache is gone
Walked around the town before dinner and strolled through this forest. Soon found the cache without dancing.

No pen to record our names and didn't bring our own - good fun finding it though!
Passing through on my tiki tour around the mainland. Found while in the district to ride the Dunstan bike trail. I remember Naseby from a few years ago when I rode the Rail Trail. Thanks for hiding Heafudd.
Despite triple containment the logbook is wet however still somewhat signable.
Took the long path to find this one while 4Clubs just waltzed right up to it. TFTC
Found this cache while in Naseby for the Australian National Curling Championships. Found on our last day in town before heading back to Australia! TFTC
No need for the stepping, geosenses kicked in and a quick find. Cache and log dry, good there's an extra plastic bag for protection tftc
On a walk with a bunch of non geocachers so happy for the hint to introduce Geocaching
We'd tried to have a look this morning but a crowd of boys were playing where I zeroed then. Came tonight after ordering dinner and took the very convenient short cut. Had a look there without much luck. Then wandered up and down the road looking for a zero with the the phone which didn't happen. Then looked for elephant tracks, and there it was. TFTC.
After a brisk walk from the park while the kettle was boiling I did a little 1 2 3 and voila! There it was. No worries. TFTC
Spending the weekend in Naseby and getting a few caches after having a few busy weeks at work. Needing a break!! We used to come up here a lot when the kids were little. One of my favourite places in the world. So peaceful and quiet. TFTC.
Term 2 break. Planning for next term is done and it's time for a winter getaway before the third term begins. So it's off to Naseby we go to rekindle childhood memories of racing around the tailings but this time hunting for caches.

Easter family adventures. Staying in Naseby a few nights. Came out to Ranfurly this morning for a bit of a bike around. Used to come to Ranfurly a LOT growing up with both sets of grandparents and several Aunts and uncle living here. Found on a bit of an afternoons family wander. Thanks.
10. found today, fifth one in Naseby. I arrived after night spent in Danseys Pass Base Camp with 5 guys on motorbikes. Let my car near Holiday Park and took a bike carrying with myself. Awesome combination car with bed + bike!
Not above ground. Wet inside but not logbook.

Seems fine, and we are not responsible for the weather! so flooding of the road will be councils problem not cache owners me thinks!!!!
Decided that today's target would be to get as many caches as possible in the Naseby area. Some of the plan got side tracked by more interesting caches and some caches were unavailable due to all the holidaymakers in town.
No dancers in our team so we just had to keep hunting. Tried here and there and over there too. Finally got the correct geotrail and found the cache. tftc

I think I did the cha cha cha and not a waltz but KR obviously did the correct footwork. I was rewarded by finding the deepest purple flowers, known as either 3 faces in a heart, hearts delight, Johnny jump up, Johnny jump up and kiss me, Tickle my fancy, Come and cuddle me or love in idleness. I just call them Heartsease pansies. Tftc
A nice quick find thanks, Cruising around Naseby after dinner..
Ms_KR and I decided to have an extended Show Weekend break, so today we headed for Naseby. A lovely day and plenty of little distractions was had by all!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Enjoyed a stroll around Naseby with kakariki, finding a few caches on the way. TFTC
Didn t find itClue doesn’t make much sense because if you do the dance, you end up in pretty much the same place
We booked a meal at the only pub in town. Two friendly cats treated us at gz. JDScout and I are on a pre Xmas campervan holiday. Geocaching is on my agenda. We both like biking and walking too. Thanks Heafudd for placing this geocache it is find 8058 for me.
Sadly there was no large event in New Zealand in 2019 but there are a few Mega events planned in Australia. New Zealand will have another large event in 2020 in Auckland.
