Tamworth and Amrmidale Trip March 2020. Day 1. I headed north with Fitzy_1965 along the New England Highway. We were headed to Tamworth but only made it as far as Scone on the first day. It was a long day of driving with caching only in the
afternoon.
Another cache beat us. I am pretty sure this one is missing, or buried.
Thanks.

After finding the Minion, I drove over to begin the Rock series, with a few detours.
This was a nice, quick and easy find. TFTC, and thanks for the series.

TFTC! ^.^ It had fallen away from its spot, so I made sure to tuck it back onto where I think it was meant to be and camo’d it a bit. It’s a nice little cache but I think the magnet wasn’t working well.
This is the way to spend New Years Day... Geocaching! Thank goodness for the rain last night. It made walking much more pleasent. TFTC

After visiting some cellar doors it was time for a bit of geocaching. The 'Rock' series in Muswellbrook is a nice little cluster of caches. We enjoyed the walk across this area, spotting lots of kangeroos around this area. And with the sun out, I was alert on snakes. Luckily I did not see any.

Hint is wrong, but found out after expanding the search. Great series of caches, but owner might want to update the hint on this one. TFTC
Parked near this one to do a morning of walking collecting this series and the woodland caches. Hint is out, but a previous log helps. TFTC
The only cache toady that I had to be concerned of muggles working in the local business yard. It was a nice area to explore so I hope to be back soon to do some more, thanks.
The OZ Geomuster is over.
So much fun and games and catching up with friends and meeting new friends.
I have now officially left the showgrounds and am heading home.
But of course there has to be a detour to go find a cache a cache or two ... or three ... or ... Good thing I have 4 more days to travel home.
I found a close place to park ... And a short walk.
Found after a short search. [^]
Though the hint should read : base of tree, fence side
needs a new log sheet as well.
Thanks for the cache.

We are heading from Brisbane to Bright in Victoria, caching as we go, wherever it is safe to pull up with the caravan. We left Brisbane on 3rd Jan and don't have to be in Bright til the end of the month. Today's drive takes us from our camp at Lake Liddle back to Muswellbrook to do some more Rock_Dok caches. My logs will be generic, unless something happens.....Thanks Rock_Dok for this series, we enjoyed the walk in the park.
Not a single human being within this place today. We had it all for ourseves and thought we knew what kind of container to look for. What we found was something else and not what we initially thought. Signed and replaced as found. On our way back we checked the chair with all the flowers.
After finding Alley Cat we had a choice, either keep working our way through the town or head out to attempt the Rock caches. Being such a nice day we decided to tackle these instead and headed off to find somewhere to park near the first one in the series.
We unloaded the bikes and rode the short distance to this one which was quickly spotted. The only difficulty here was getting the contents out to sign.
Thanks.

Felt like a game of footy after finding this one. The black cockatoos lead us to it. Very "attractive" container.
The Rock series was how we decided to finish our caching day in Muswellbrook. We parked close to #1. A cuppa and we were on our way. A quick find to start the series. TFTC Rock Dok.
AussieBen and I decided as Part of Havoc nominations that we would come up and check out some caches those on nominations and some others
this cache was exposed sitting all lonely out in the open so replaced where we thought appropriate and put a cover on it

**# 13987** Found on our 2016 winter escape trek.
Another cool but sunny morning for a drive around Muswellbrook.
Another good find and not many muggles around today.
Thanks for the cache Rock_Dok,

As this was the third time I have had to fix this one up I have decided to move it slightly.
It is now an Eclipse tin connected to a fence post.

Moved it slightly, and you are now looking for the elusive Eclipse tin.
Happy caching.
Happy caching.
Found the lid but put a new log in an eclipse container & will notify CO. No sign of anything else from the old cache lying around. Still hidden at the base of the big oak, covered in sticks etc.
Cache has been trashed. Found lid and placed at the bottom of the large gumtree.
Visiting our daughter who lives in nearby Denman, and slipped off to gather a few local caches. A good series to get our teeth in to. Found this one quickly. Thanks for the challenge Rock Doc

Geopup needed a walk...why not do some geocaching! Only did half of the rock series before the rain set in. Thanks for the nice walk. Tftc!
Left Bathurst early & had a breakfast stop at Bylong. We continued on & have set up camp at the showgrounds, Muswellbrook.
We had a big afternoon of caching, finding some very impressive caches while taking a tiki tour of the town.
Thanks for placing this cache Rock_Dok

After a fun day in the area yesterday, we were back for the Sacred Tree Markets in Branxton and decided to drop back for a cache or two. Grabbed nearby minion and then thought, "one more" And now it seems that one is turning into a few. Geowife not happy. Bitten by bullants on the way. TNLN TFTC
We were held up for some time at GZ as a nice lady chatted to us about her rescue dog and how she had saved it. As she walked out of sight we rescued the cache. Thanks for a great hide.
We had some unfinished caching business in Muswellbrook but did a few extra ks to grab a few in Scone and Aberdeen as well.
We DNF'd this one last time as it was missing. It's now back and we have our smiley. Thanks Rok Dock, series complete.

Have checked the site and re-instated the cache in the original position. please just watch out for muggles when checking the hole.
i have been to this site and there has indeed been a fire in the tree the cache was hidden in. The cache site was not burnt, but the cache has now gone walk about. I will be relocating this cache shortly.
We thought it time we paid Muswellbrook a visit as there were lots of caches there begging to be turned into smilies on our map.
Our first search for the day because we decided to do the Rock series first. We had a pretty good look but then a worker nearby started taking an interest in us so we bailed and did the rest. We came back after completing the rest of the series and were able to have a good look as the aforementioned worker was gone. Still no luck for us here. Thanks anyway Rock Dok, we enjoyed the series.
