What to do, what to do. Tankengine and I had made Youban walk a fair distance this weekend, so we thought a bit of a drive might be in order today. It was a quick trip with other commitments to attend to meant we didnt get everything we wanted, but it was still a good day out. This cache: What a sweet little spot. Found quickly and all in good condition. Tftc!!!
Found on a cool morning while going past on a drive up along the lake with Smittengranny, isopeda and albida33. Quick find with the hint. Tftc
Quick find, nice cache, all in good order. TodayAs family breakfast took place earlier today the opportunity to make it to the Lake Gorge event was suddenly an option. Especially as I had thought of cleanign out collector when I recently looked on the map, there was plenty to do between home and Collector. In fact I ended up caching all the way to the 6pm event and still had plenty left to do. After the city I went to the wineries for some new and older caches and ALs, then a Collector cleanout, followed by lake gorge lookout and then following the old highway for a while, before it was time to cut it short and drive via a quick charge at Majura Maccas to the evening event. Thank you Pacmania for putting the cache out, maintaining it and contributing to this great hobby we have. Happy trails, Flintstone's
Reperio 11:36Day 5 of our Capital GeoBash mega event trip to Canberra with Miss Vitruvius, and today it was time to head home, but not before finding plenty of caches. We decided to line up the caches around the Sutton area, which had plenty of high DT caches, and plenty of easier ones as well. This one was one of the nicer drive by caches we found today.Gratias PacmaniaAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV

A quick find at GZ. Someone thought it was a good dumping ground for a pile of bread. Then I started thinking about a book I used to read my kids about Mr McGee and his big bag of bread. He got into all sorts of situations because he wanted to feed the animals his bread. Cache is in good condition. TFTC.
Hmm, is there going to be a snake or a cache under there??

Cache 5730 on 8 Feb 2020.
Despite the threat of showers, Bobl27 and I headed out early morning to grab a few caches along the old Federal Highway. It drizzled for most of the finds, but not enough to deter a determined cacher! All finds were easy and in accordance with the hint. A nice total of eight for the morning then back home via a bakery, an Asian grocery shop and Lifeline to drop off some books!
Thanks Pacmania for the cache and the fun!

Time to pick up a couple more caches for the day while travelling with ilook4geo. It is good to get off the highway and cache along some quieter roads. This was a very easy find and the log soon had some more names added to the list of finders. All was returned as it had been found before we moved off to continue on our way. Thanks go to Pacmania for placing this cache.

On my way home from the Clear Waters mega, I decided to take take a detour along the old Federal Highway just because I could. Naturally enough, I stopped to grab the caches that have been placed along this road to entice people like me off the highway, and none presented a problem.
Thanks for bringing me along the old road Diadem & TaurusSix.

Was heading North after a night in Canberra and thought a cache would be a good way to start the trip (and also my kids thought they had forgotten a teddy so we pulled off the road to check). This was our second one for the day and the kids loved rushing in to find this.
Left Port Macquarie heading south to the Mega event .
As the Folk Festival is going to be held at the EPIC we all had to move camp, we are now back at Gundaroo.
After setting up camp, we realise there are now 6 geocaching teams here.
Decided to head towards Collector & then down the highway back home again. Great views from the ridge line & then it was all busy motorway. Stopped at a number of VC rest areas to cache, good to see these heroes remembered.
A few other road side stops to collect a few caches also.
Thanks for placing this cache Pacmania

Day four of myself and MrSmith00's 3rd (almost) annual geocaching trip.
A confluence of outside forces had us head to Canberra for the first ever test match at Manuka oval, rather than the more extensive Adelaide journey.
Days 1,2 & 3 saw a total of 24 finds as well as two entertaining days of cricket.

What a good kid am I, driving to Sydney to help my parents move within their retirement village. To obtain pleasure out of what might otherwise be a chore, I sought out some geocaches along the way, including many of Pacmania’s Old Fed series. I find it hard to believe that in my early years in Canberra I used to regularly negotiate this narrow road. How treacherous it was on a winter’s Sunday evening with all the ski traffic heading the other way. In those days, a good journey between Canberra and Sydney took five hours and nasty accidents were not uncommon. This cache was a straightforward find, being in an obvious spot on the coordinates. Thank you Pacmania for installing and maintaining this cache, and for bringing back four decades old memories!
