Thanks to everyone who came out in the cold and wet. And a special thanks to Tigersden for the donation of lots of prizes.

A really good night. Unfortunately no vegetarian options so I ordered some vege items from the menu. Unfortunately again this didn't count as 'proper' food so there was no free drink for me. Then I was told that the cook would not do a salad or mash potatoes for me but I could have lasagne which I accepted. I don't think this was classed as a meal as I didn't get a refund on the drink! Apart from that hiccup I had a really good time with great company.

Attended this great event for a great meal at a venue I've never been to, getting out of the Ballarat cold was a great idea and it was, as always a great opportunity to catch up with friends and compare notes

A wonderful way to finish off the day with good friends PetaG52 and o.kay amongst other convivial friends at our table. I enjoyed an excellent meal and appreciated the free drinks provided by the bartender with our meal. Unfortunately we were unable to do the night cache afterwards due to my ill health, and I would have loved to tackle the Wherigo as well. I appreciate all the work that went into organising all the events over the weekend, especially the effort you made in securing an establishment capable of serving so many meals on ANZAC Day. Thanks again for another smiley on my map and a step closer to completing the Social Geocacher challenge

Thanks sully1 for a very well organised event at a brilliant venue. It was great to chat with so many cachers visiting Ballarat for the weekend, and local cachers who braved the wet weather. Thanks for hosting and the prizes were excellent and generous too.

This was the only event this weekend that we could manage, as it was a work fortnight, not a caching fortnight. Thanks to the huge support of our caching friends The 2 Wanderers, and also to Sully's encouragement and support, we were able to make it happen. Chunk went off to another night duty after the event, and Chook stayed overnight in the area to be chauffeur the next morning. It was really good to meet up with all our caching friends and not miss out, like we originally thought might have to happen. The meals were timely and the room was warm and comfortable. Thank you Sully1 for hosting this event.

Attended this fantastic event tonight. Thanks Lisa for organising this dinner. A great time of fellowship and a lot of chatter in the room. After waiting a good hour and a bit for our meal it was a lovely. We think they must have lost our order as we were well and truly last to be served. A good night was had by us with great friends.

First to Find!!! !
My first Ballarat event cache and a FTF!!! Woo Hoo!! Thanks sully1 for organising and to tigersden for providing the prize!!
I arrived at the event location a bit before 6pm, soaking wet and thinking I'd be waaaay too early. After 15 minutes in the Geo6E, spent discreetly (I hope) wriggling my way out of soggy caching clothes and into an outfit suitable for dinner, I headed in to see who was around, only to find the joint already jumping! Cachers here there and everywhere!
I snagged myself a seat with Bushfire and the Phetlerns (a very good one as it happens which enabled me to claim FTF) and headed straight to the bar. I needed that drink!! Then, with drink in hand and dinner on the way, I got down to the serious business of catching up with a few of the Geelong crew and quite a number of the Ballarat crowd. As usual, there were so many who I didn't manage to meet, so I'll obviously have to come back for a few more Ballarat events to set this to rights.

We enjoyed the meal but it was a bit much for the smallest member who didn't get her sleeps, so we left early.

Accompanied by my muggle friend, gonefishen07 and Zobo04, we arrived before the allocated time, to an already full function room, due to the inclement weather late this afternoon, when everyone was seeking refuge from the blustery, cold and wet conditions outside. - my apologies for this Thanks to Tigersdens Geocaching Goodies for sponsoring this event tonight and the lunch time event today also. My sincere thanks also to everyone who attended and made this yet another great get together with like minded people, who all share the same passion. To the few folk I hadn't met before, it was lovely to meet you. I think I got round to say Hello to almost everyone, and if I missed anyone, my apologies. A well run event

Attended this one and a nice place to be when it is cold and wet outside. A most convivial atmosphere and a fitting part of the weekend. Many thanks Sully1.

This cache was one of the reasons of me being in this area today after attending the earlier event today.
We arrived very early about five o'clock as we were very wet and thirsty so that was soon changed and then waited for everybody else to arrive but with dinner ordered we beat the rush so to speak.
A very well organised event Lisa and a special thanks to tigersden for providing all the goodies. I hope you get lots of orders for the bits and pieces that we all require from time to time.

Not too many caches found today, the weather was more condusive to drinking than caching. We arrived at the event to find it well underway even though we were early. We enjoyed the meal and the social aspect of the event.

It had been a long day, but after a warm shower and a change of clothes and some dry shoes, I was ready to head out again. I arrived early to discover I had left my purse behind. Thankfully Sharkiefan came to my rescue and bought me dinner. As the food arrived and I tucked in, I discovered I was completely exhausted!! So when everyone else was heading off to find the night caches in the area, I headed back to my accommodation and to bed.

Thanks again sully1 for another great event and to Tigersden for donating some excellent prizes.

We turned up a little early to this event to already find many teams had arrived to get out to get out of the wet conditions outside and seek refuge in the warmth. A great night chatting to everyone. Thanks sully1 for your superb organisation of all of the days events. You are a gem.

This was my 7th smiley for the day after attending the earlier event and grabbing some caches in the bargain.
All settled into the holiday park with Liam and TR! and after getting thawed out and changed, we were ready for a good feed and then onto some caching by torchlight.
I sat with Cerena as well as my little group and chatted to many-a like minded people throughout the night.
I love cachers. All such good people. Quality hobby we share.
A drink was needed. One of them was a vodka, Coke and raspberry, minus the Coke, I let him off.
My meal was delicious after I sent it back as it didn't come as I had ordered and for how long it took to take my request and how much they charged, I expected it to be correct. I made sure I said sauce on the side. And no red in my eye fillet what so ever. Returned as wanted =] Thanks Chef, I know you were under the pump, but it's not hard.
I believe everyone else enjoyed their food too. They were a bit slow on the drinks and service. But otherwise top notch. I expect they don't often have the numbers they did thisevening.

An awesome, well run event in a nice warm location, almost got hot at one stage, before returning to the freezing cold, cause that's what we do.

As part of the trouble group we attended this event and it was great to catch up with other cachers in a warm environment with coffee staying hot after 45 seconds. I wont say anything about the food as i will save that for the urbanspoon rating site.

We didn't grab too many caches between the two events today while out with maccamob, micaparamedic and The Coffees as the weather wasn't ideal for caching.
We arrived at the event early to find a lot of people had had the same idea and we settled in for some more socializing while enjoying our evening meal.
Another great time was had by all, thanks to sully1 for organizing this event and to the Hotel for speedy service.
