This was nearby to a couple of other caches so decided to stop. I had a good look at the hinted item but theres no sign of the cache.
I set my sights on some of the Sentinel series today. I was lucky enough to find 4 and DNF 2 before calling it a day. Unfortunately this one defeated me. I checked out both looking from every possible angle but DNF
At GZ we searched around the logical place and could not find a cache so contacted the CO who confirmed we were looking on the right structure. Have placed a temporary container at GZ until the CO checks this one out. Thanks JACS Team for adopting this one.
I love a hint that leads to a quick find, especially after marking DNF on other supposedly 1.5s!
Passing by with muggle mum on the way back from a failed adventure. Nice and easy find. Grabbed the clue out. TFTC.
Thanks to the owner for dropping a replacement cache so quickly after my previous search revealed it had disappeared! Another cache with an attribute I needed! Luckily I had an aide in the car that enabled me to retrieve it! TFTC
Coordinates changed from:S 27 17.040 E 152 59.116Coordinates changed to:S 27 17.039 E 152 59.109Distance from original: 38.5 feet or 11.7 meters.Happened to be out driving and checked on this one after a message, replaced with what I had on hand, so moved slightly - hint updated. Clue noted in the FTF spot.
MissT and I had some spare time while MrT was on the north side for school. That meant looking for horse supplies and caching. I had tried to find this one another time but couldn't see it and I was distracted while on a phone call. I thought it might be easier with another set of eyes. I found it straight away this time.
Out with my grand daughter and great granddaughter, this was her first cache, but she didn’t like the spider who had made her home there, thanks for the cache
Like many in previous logs, I went dizzy circling the obvious tree, but I was determined not to give up. Finally, on lap 77 there it was, mocking me. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for another clever hide. Miggle activity is particularly high right now with a few campers and tents set up nearby, seemingly victims of the current housing crisis. Eyes are everywhere.
Pulled over to reassess where I was and discovered a green dot on my map. I couldn't see it although I circled the tree over and over. I was on a phone call the whole time, so maybe that hindered my success.
Reading through the logs beforehand proved a good idea, as I knew I was not looking for a run-of-the-mill hide in this type of object. With that in mind, I began searching – naturally very slightly to the left of where the cache was, and circumnavigated until I found it… It’s a very snug little hide and in good condition. It would be tricky to find on a busy day, though! TFTC, JACS Team. =^.^=
Heading out for a day of caching in a bid to hit a personal goal.
Next up on the list was this one in an attempt to clear some more of the local area. This brought me to a place that I have spent a significant amount of time in my past life, thanks for the memories.
This one took a little more time than I care to admit, and I had to PAF - but, as always, located the sneaky cache while calling the friend!
Searching with geohubby we started in the right place but quickly started to broaden our search....wrong move. Coming back to where we started, and being more methodical, we soon had the little cache in hand. Signed the log and went on our way. TFTC.

On my way home from an Australia Day geocaching event in Scarborough, I remembered this cache and felt it highly appropriate that I go and find it. Like others, I walked in circles for a while before finally spotting the sneaky container. TFTC
JACS Team I found your cache Australia Day Sentinel on 6/1/2023, 2:53 pm. This is my find 4623 and find # 8 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Another play day planned with geofriends out Dayboro way but sickness changed that. So its just Peppa and I hitting the Moreton Region to find caches that help us on our way to qualifying for a few challenges on the Northside.
No problems parking here today so at GZ, searched likely places but wasn't sure if the mozzie coil holder in the tree was the cache. Previous logs didn't mention the use of any ladders, etc so searched another location. Peppa searched around until I looked at one spot and there it was.
Easy find, SL then returned as found.

The original plan for today was to tackle Dayboro… again… but with one of the team feeling unwell, a change of plans was called for… Patrol14 and I settled on Moreton LGA (for another challenge) and spent the day chasing anything that required a Special Tool (yet another challenge) or anything shiny that caught our attention…
Another trip to Strathpine, another Sentinel… despite the hint, I was fascinated with the mozzie coil holder in the tree where Geepers actually wanted me…
Luckily Patrol14 pays more attention to detail than I do and she found the cache without issue…

Sneaky hide. I looked all around GZ and couldn’t find it. Phoned a previous finder who helped me out. TFTC
Another weekend of rain and I was crawling up the walls to get outside. So I took a drive to see what caches I might be able to grab without getting too wet.
The plan was a nice large loop through the north side of town, collecting some qualifying caches for Challenges I am working on, plus other interesting cache along the way. The Recommended at Night" attribute on this one will prove useful for a Challenge.
I was getting dizzy from my circles around the tree. I read a few logs and persisted and then I found this well hidden cache tucked away. All in good order here, TFTC JACS Team.

Not quite Australia Day, but we were passing by & thought we'd stop in on this rainy drive down to the northern suburbs. Totally empty of muggles today, only the campers at the showgrounds but they were a fair way off. Didn't spot the waterhole or any dragons, but we didn't sight see much as the rain was starting to increase again.
Quicky find in a likely spot & took note of the clue.

8-7-2021 We were heading home from an appointment and stopped at the nearby park for some lunch. So, we set out to find this cache while we were here and turn it into a yellow smiley face finally after coming here previously and unfortunately having a blue face on our map.
Before leaving the geocar (track my adventures D78QWZ) we re-read the description, the hint, confirming the Difficulty and Terrain and the previous finder’s logs.
We set off to walk to the GZ. MummaBear66 and Princess1005 was directing us where to go. So, we started our walk over to the GZ, discussing about where this geocache could possibly be located.
Thankfully after a decent search in the wrong place we worked out we were in the incorrect place and regrouped. Then we headed back to the Geocar and JLK to start writing this log.
FINALLY FOUND THIS CACHE!!!!
Thanks for the cache placement Wallaby Wannabe and the cache maintenance JACS Team

Relogging found caches under the name Bonkersandshush to my other accountGAZKERSH.Thanks.Nice quick find while in the area Thanks for the cache
This evening, I headed north for a few errands, and after completing those, I continued along with another stop/Location completing the *Pine Rivers War History* Adventure Lab. A few geocaches were found around Lawnton, before returning home and catching dinner. However, with a few new caches published just in the vicinity that I just was, I decided to return back out, and stop off at a few more geocaches. A nice evening to be out and about.
It was all quiet by the time I arrived here this evening, and so it allowed me a quiet search around. It took a few loops of the obvious tree before spotting this cache. Very good natural camouflage, and I can see why DNFs eventuate from this geocache! The cache container and logbook were in good shape. I did see “Eiffel Tower, France” in the lid - a previous/future puzzle for a bonus perhaps? Thanks WallabyWannabe for the cache placement, and JACS Team for its ongoing maintenance.

Unfortunately didn’t find this one. Not sure if the cache is still there as there were people around GZ.
TFTC. We left Dayboro this morning only to go as far as Pine Rivers Showgrounds. After setting up and lunch I (Hans) went out for a good long walk. Good exercise and 4 caches to show for it.
This one was well hidden and took a minute to locate. Clever hide.

DNF avenged. Stopped here this afternoon as I was walking home from the mechanic. After doing a few laps I had a light bulb moment and put my hand straight on it. Log was slightly damp inside but still signable. Now that I have found it, I can't believe I missed it the first time. Hint noted and cache replaced. TFTC
Our last for the day, staying next door at the showgrounds. Like most other, round and round we go until we spotted it.

Turned around just before Pine river and headed home.
This took a few loops as the cammo was really good.
Thank you for this cache

I must have gone around and around checking all nooks and crannies but it was DisSister who came up trumps. TFTC
I think I did three circuits of GZ before spotting the hide which jumped out and made me wonder why I didn’t see it the first time! TFTC JACS Team
Might be time to replace my eyes. Seem to be missing a few "easy" ones of late. We will come back later in the week and look again
Making my way over here after a busy day at work with geopup, we parked too far up the road for some reason, but wandered back to gz.
Waiting for some muggles to leave the car park, I was soon able to make the find. Clue noted, log signed, and all replaced as found, we wandered off to another nearby cache just as the sunlight faded away.
Thanks for maintaining the cache and the series JACS Team, looking forward to collecting more of them.

TFTC getting the kids out of the house and managing to stay away from other people. Best social distancing activity there is.
I have looked for this one previously but there were WAY too many muggles.
With the complex here still closed due to Covid-19, I knew it was my chance.
It took a bit longer than it should have but the discovery was made, log was signed and clue was noted.

Well, it's Australia Day, so how could I not find this cache?
The geokids and I did some tree fishing, and then headed out to the Lawnton Pool for some free swimming, rides and entertainment. It was much better than I thought it would be! Great end to the summer holidays for me.
We grabbed this cache on the way out through the carpark. Balancing camp chairs and wet towels and the remnants of a donut that should have been finished a long time ago.
Geokid found the cache quickly while I was still looking in the bottom of my handbag for a pen. There are some scary things down there that won't be mentioned....
Signed the log and returned as found.

Enjoying a few days of holidays in the silliest of seasons and thought it opportune to go out and about with potatochips101 caching smilies. The second cache for the day. Not being a local to the area we drove around and around a bit trying to work out how to get to this. Once we had that sorted we were onto it. As we approached GZ ... I wondered what kind of hide might await us. In no time at all I spied said cache and was happy to log another smiley (logged as 3K).
TFTC ... grabbed the clue for the series.

Decided to check out the markets at the show grounds next door. Grear cheap plants there. At gz I took one lap around then I spotted this cache. Dont know how I missed it last time. Thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Dropped my daughter of at a birthday party near here and headed for this cache. A loop around the hide and it was spotted. As is tradition with this series, I forgot to record the clue, but I'll bribe the CO with a pathtag later... TFTC!
Few muggles about at 7:00, & a quick find despite a compass that woodnt settle...TFTC
Out for a bike ride with the geokids, and thought we would check out some caches between Lawnton and Warner Lakes (via Bray Park). The kids found this one pretty quickly. Thanks for the cache, JACS Team!
Nemesis cache finally logged We couldn’t find it first time somehow and two other visits since we have been unable to access due to muggles on or extremely close to GZ. With the show complete and the pool closed it was now or never! Located in less than 10 seconds. Signed and returned.
Out and about on a sunny Saturday morning on the dark side whilst my geodoggy gets his groom on . We targeted caches around the Kallangur/ Burpengary / Bray Park areas to find enough caches to unlock the vault . The clock is ticking both for the groom and the Mystery in the Museum promo so quick wins was the plan .
12/15 the showground gates were open so I headed in for the quickest and closest find to the car today . I also wondered if the placement was right but returned as found after signing the log and noting the clue. Tftc

Found after several attempts of looking around the tree without looking too suspicious. TFTC
Not entirely sure if this one is supposed to be placed as it was found? It was very visible and in the open. We did replace it as we found it.
Quick easy find and the last of the day. Time to go and be a parent again.
Thanks for the cache JACS Team. This was find #4280.

Heading into triathlon training again, and I was down at the pool, slogging it out. Thought there was a cache just near here... oh, VERY near here! Spotted quickly and dripped back to the car. Thanks!
