A great title! We thoroughly enjoyed collecting the required information as we walked, biked and explored Lord Howe Island. Thank you for bringing us to interesting places, some of which we might not have discovered otherwise. The final location was well worth visiting! Logged with permission, thanks SeaEegles. Another deserved favourite added.
Goutou and I collected the information over several days, but also had to retreat from Lovers Bay as it was raining hard. (It was still nice to cycle in the rain though.)
Today was absolutely spiffing weather and after booking in for a turtle and snorkeling tour we had a few hours for something to do. So we decided to get this cache.
Lovely walk. At GZ we scrambled around for a bit before finding the cache.
Thanks for this interesting multi.

Post COVID, over the border and here I am on THE ISLAND - can’t believe it! Any of UNESCO‘S World Heritage Sites have guaranteed wonders and this is no exception with plenty to explore and guided by the MULTI incentive there’s always something to learn. Enjoyed the extra little excursion to GZ after staking it out yesterday enroute to higher places. My geobuddy and I found the T4 scramble fine after the misty almost treacherous climb to Mt Gower. The previous container does appear to be gone so replaced with CO’s permission in a rather obvious spot. Seems there is a small new plaque just above it. TFTC and the FUN! A fave for a perfect finale!
Had a really good run at this one but I do believe it has gone missing.
Started off a few days ago, going south on the bikes and found the various spots, working our way back north. A great thing to do on the first day as it got us some good bearings for the island. No issues with any of the waypoints, they were all quite straight forward and a number of them were near where we were staying.
Did the calculations later to find the final point, double checked a number of times as it didn’t seem exactly right but turns out it was. Headed down there in light rain today and commenced the search, but just could not find. Searched up, over, around and under. Finally walked around the front via the ocean and got to the spot we could see in previous photos. Searched here very carefully and could not find - There is a perfect spot for a cache here and I really think it has gone missing as it lines up exactly with the previous finders picture.
Have attached a picture to show I was there. Maybe a cache check is in order?
Thanks for the cache!

We always enjoy a Multicache and so as soon as we arrived on this beautiful island we set off to the first couple of waypoints, then over the following few days we gradually ticked off all the hikes and visited all the required waypoints. Now on our last full day on the island we set off from the settlement for the nice long walk towards Ground Zero, a place we had passed already during an adventurous day hike. We arrived at mid tide but we had no problems at all climbing up to GZ where the cache hiding place was quickly located. We took some photos, sat and enjoyed the views and then had fun exploring all the nooks and crannies around GZ before climbing back down again and starting the return hike back towards the settlement. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
Loved the waypoints. Was one short, but guessed the answer. However, was having too much fun swimming and snorkelling at the little beaches along the way to go climbing Loved the views. Watched a plane take off on the way back from Lover’s bay. Saw a kingfisher. TFTC anyway.
We thoroughly enjoyed travelling to the various interesting locations on the Island to collect the clues, and we're both surprised and pleased to be able to locate the GZ. Timed it for the tide to be its lowest, then a very quick ascent made for an easy discovery. We observed the last entry in log book to be Feb 2nd, 2019. Added our contribution, took some photos and made our way to Lovers Bay for a nice snorkel. Thanks for this enjoyable multi.
TFTC - had a fabulous week on the island and picked up a few GQ's. This gave us a great chance to ride our bikes to a few different places down the island from our accommodation. First trip but hopefully will not be our last.
I will admit that we forfeited the chance to be nimble on the last step but did sit back and enjoyed yet another lovely view.
Cheers KV

#15116. It has been 5 years since Robmc and I have been here and it is so great to be back on the Island. A few more caches have been published since then so we have a bit of leg-work to do, to gather information all over the island before we can go hunting for GZ's.
We started this on Day 1 but took a while to complete it. We waited until we were going to ride nearer to GZ on other matters and then walked the walk from there. We have been to the area of GZ previously but it is a lovely walk so no hardship to do it again, even though I dislike long walks. We had to do it the hard way because we hadn't taken note of the tides. Eventually our names were in the log book and we were on our way again.
Thanks seaeagles1997

Back to Lord Howe Island with BettyBoo3747, it has been quite a while since our last visit.
Armed with deadly treadlies (but not the usual ones!) we have been exploring the island and slowly working through the caches here.
We have been collecting clues as we have travelled end to end of the island.
We had been to all of the way points before, but they are all worth revisiting
Today we finally had a clear patch to go visit GZ. We have been to this spot before, but not at this altitude.
As the tide was fully in (spring tide too!) a scramble was in order. Nice view from up here though.
Thanks for a very nice multi.
Thanks, Robmc.

Such a nice tour of the island. A couple of days gathering the way points, a short climb at low tide and found within 15 secs of getting up there. A lovely place for a cache.
Found by Facitman and Mrs Facit at 10:35
I was pretty sure I was going to find all the way points for this cache and then fail to get the smiley due to poor planning. I didn't prepare our caching before arriving at Lord Howe so the way points for this cache were visited out of order over almost the whole of our week long visit. But somehow it worked out and on our last full day on the island we grabbed the last piece of the puzzle and found that we would be near GZ. Such a great spot for a cache and a lovely way to finish a cache that took us to many great and interesting locations.
Thanks seaeagles1997, a perfect multi for this island.

We enjoyed the cycle around to the waypoints. Then a walk to GZ. The last bit of a climb was straightforward enough for us seniors. Low tide may have made the start easier. Found the right spot but not the cache. More looking only found terrain of perhaps grade 10. Back to the initial spot and a more careful look found the well hidden container. Now for the climb down! TFTC
It would be appreciated if you didn't sign the log book that you do not claim a find (as per the rules of the game). The terrain is 4 for a reason. At low tide there is a not so difficult way up.
If you are unable to reach the cache, i'm sorry, at least you had an enjoyable tour of this beautiful island. Geocaching is not just about the numbers. There are some lower terrained caches on the island for the less abled and some high terrain for the younger thrill-seeking geocachers.
Thanks!

We enjoyed visiting all the waypoints and learning about the island. Unfortunately we're not rock climbers and couldn't attempt to fetch the cache but we did visit the location and enjoy the views.
Just a warning to anyone looking for this cache, the terrain level is not a mistake.

This was a great day, loved riding from one end of the island to the other. Nice walk out to GZ, and then what a great sight!!! Amazing views!
Like some previous guys I'm counting this cache as found. I hope that is ok for the owner. If not please send me a note.
I wasn't about to climb because I did not want to challenge my foreign health insurance. Very nice walk across the island and good WP. Thanks a lot for the cache.

I'd visited most of the waypoints for this on my trip last year, except for one I somehow missed. With that final digit found, it was off on my bike again for a scenic ride and walk to GZ.
After reading some of the previous logs, I wasn't that hopeful of reaching the cache but it turned out to be a fairly easy climb even for me! I would say though that coming at low tide probably helps.
Many thanks for an excellent tour of the Lord Howe's scenic and historic spots with a fitting final. An FP is awarded.

Took some time to gather all the answers and work out the final destination but the weather got the better of 3 senior ladies and we were unable to reach GZ. Thanks for an interesting tour.
With BindiGuider- enjoyed wandering the township seeking answers - told lots of people about geocaching too TFTC
#9 After gathering all this information required we headed off to find GZ. We looked and looked but couldn't find any sign of the cache. So im guessing its gone awal. After completing some other caches and still have a few days left on the island we say at the museum and rechecked our information just in case. Well. I had 2 vital pieces of information wrong. So after correcting the coordinates we headed off to a new GZ. A nice bike ride and a nice walk there it was. Lucky for us the tide was in a favor. So across i went. Very soon the long was signed and a sad blue face ch as nged to a happy yellow one. Great multi and great info. Thankyou for the cache bike ride and walk. It was nice to see the waterfalls after the down poor last night.
Great fun tracking down the clues to lead us to the goods. We had been scanning the locals for older ladies in an attempt to identify geo-Nan but after signing this log had to revise our ideas and look for a fitter and VERY nimble geo-Nan! TFTC
Well, today I found a relative goldmine of caches on Lord Howe with *two*, after only one on each of the previous three days. I really enjoyed the walk and the bits of information at each waypoint. Lover's Point was a great place to write a postcard for a special lady. Low tide was perfect timing today at 3:30 PM so, unlike some previous loggers, climbed to the cache with little difficulty. Nice view from up there as well. TFTC
Dropped in after climbing the mountain to see how this cache is coping and found it in a different place to where I hid it but left it in its new spot.
I feel this cache is decently accessible, I have a photo of my pop up here when he was 80, but if you aren't up to it don't log this cache

Like the previous guy I'm counting this one as found. I could see the cache, did all the stuff before it, but wasn't about to climb up there especially at high tide. I reckon you should put it lower!!! Thanks for the adventure tho!
This was hidden just days before we came out to the island last year. We seemed to be too busy discovering the wonders of the island to gather clues - although, in hind site, we went to all the locations. It made it easy to gather the info this time as I knew where I was going and didn't need to use WP coords. Bit tricky at the end as I started by coming from the wrong direction before I worked out the easier way around. I could see the cache but blowed if I could reach it. I had to search around for a stick in order to extract but managed in the end. Thanks for the wander and the final.
On our second visit to LHI we were pleased to see a couple more caches to find. This was a great multi and enjoyed gathering the clues. Solved the co-ords and went to retrieve the cache while Seeker went climbing Mt Gower. I didn't climb Mt Gower as heights and me aren't good friends. I was fortunate to meet geo-Nan last year when we were here (she sprung us finding a cache). She's a better woman than me to climb to maintain this one. Unfortunately the weather turned bad so we didn't get back to collect the cache. I'm giving it a fav point anyway! TFTC
We are logging this as a find even though we did not actually climb up and get it from the final location. Having been told about how much a rescue of an injured tourist costs from this beautiful remote island we decided to save the government $50000. Thanks for the hunt as it has taken us 4 days to find all the answers to the clues and we have seen lots of the island in the process. Pity the final location is out of reach of the sensible geocacher.
On Lord Howe for a week of walking, cycling and caching. Male membsec is returning after almost 50 years but first visit for Lady membsec. Great island with great views. Gradually gathered all of the data as we moved around the island. Some very fascinating snippets of information and really enjoyed gathering the required answers. Then we made the final walk to the challenging GZ. Well we both felt a little insecure as we scoured the area and eventually trusted our GPS to lead us to the hidden location. Then Lady membsec showed that she still has the fearlessness required to gather the cache from its hiding hole. Happily logged the cache and then she had to show her dexterity again to replace the cache to its home. A great challenge in a really great spot.
TFTC and a favourite from us for a cache well thought out and finally very challenging for us.

We had a collected some of the clues for this cache a couple of days ago then set of to gther the remaining clues for this cache on a gloriously sunny day. After gathering the last of the clues we worked out our likely location and set off in hope. At times it seemed we might run out of land and have to search by snorkel, luckily though that was not the case and the Geoson and I did not have to go swimming to find it (not quite anyway). The cache though took some finding and retrieving, Seaeagles Geonan must be a fit, agile, surefooted grandmother. We really enjoyed this cache and were thrilled to score a FTF for it. Thanks for this outstanding, very well planned cache Seaeagles, definitely worth a favourite, I hope lots of cachers try this one.
