We looked really hard to locate this one with no luck, great parking spot but so much rubbish it’s more like a tip.

Area is being used as a rubbish dump as it has been before. Time to let this one go.
No luck for us today. Searched for 5 minutes and then searched a little more. Unfortunately this site has become a bit of a rubbish dump.
Thanks for this quick grab only going to pick up a few along this road and get others another time
On our way to Nanango for a few days and we stopped by for this cache. All good here. Log signed and cache replaced as found with a bit more covering. Thanks youngoldfella for this one.
We found bark and rock at GZ but no cache. A wider search failed to find anything.
Found as I meander my way from Adelaide to Cairns.
With no real travel plan and three weeks to get there before I meet up with friends, there has been plenty of opportunity for sightseeing and finding a few selected caches along the way.
Cache was a quick find when I made a quick stop while passing by.
Thanks youngoldfella for the cache.

On our way to Goomeri for the pumpkin festival after a night at Kingaroy, we travelled along this road to go past the dam to finish off the Murgon AL.
Not a particularly scenic spot but plenty of parking and we collected a few cans and bottles to add to the recycling pile.
Quick find near the main feature in the middle.

I was out with all the stortigirls today for a tour around the area, and pulled in here to claim a smilie. The eldest geoteen was bouncing up and down in the back needing a wee stop, so I headed in the direction of the cache and cast my eyes around.....no pressure! Thankfully a quick find here and then back in the car to head back to town and the amenities. Tftc YOF
Found on a day trip from Kingaroy to Nanango via the long way, quick find here just a log sheet in a placky bag

Had a fab adventure with Ms Maddy today and over the last few days in her efforts to reach a special milestone at the mega. Much appreciated was the hospitality of YOF and his lovely wife at the end of the day. Out this way we found some very durable caches, a small fluffy animal, some swans, cows, dogs, awesome views and rolling fields, surprisingly a lot of cars heading out on their own adventures, the best bakeries in the country ofcourse and a whole lot of laughter. I am not sure how many we picked up but it was over 50. I really appreciated the work put into the large number of caches at Nanango. I am sorry about the generic logs. and a huge Tftc
The marathon caching run continues and lucky to have Miss Direction’s company for this adventure. There were new places to explore and took pics of black swans and cattle, startled a small furry critter at a cache, ran to some, stumbled to others, drank coffee, peered under and over and around things, scored a few itchy bites, and replaced a couple of missing hides. A fab day out Apols for the generic logs as a few to log tonight.

Out for the day with Kale of ranibaskale so we can find some hidden creatures and have a bit of an adventure. This was one of the caches we found today! Thanks for the cache, youngoldfella!
I hitched a ride with caro from Jess & Caro today and we went north to find a bunch of caches. They were great and I had fun. Thanks!
This was our second weekend out in Nanango travelling the highways and byways searching for Hidden Creatures, finding caches and logging smileys . We dodged truckies and trailers , mud puddles and muggles and clambered over all manner of obstacles in search of the final prizes, all the while trying to keep dry in the drizzle. Thanks to all the CO’s for their efforts in making this a most enjoyable trip. TNLN TFTC .
Today's caches have mostly come to us courtesy of youngoldfella. We decided to go as far as Nanango and cache along the way. Each of the found logs had our name added before we moved on and each was replaced as it had been found. Many thanks go to youngoldfella for adding to our caching experience by placing so many caches around the Nanango district.
My apologies up front for the copy 'n' paste logs...not my usual thing but the unusually high numbers found (for the Eskies) necessitated this to get the job done.
Mrs E & Kestal hit the road early this morning for a numbers run as the Eskies prepare for the next milestone...a really enjoyable day with many scenic roads travelled. We were very thankful for a reprieve in the hot weather after the scorching temps this week...some areas in the region obviously copped a battering at some stage with many branches and trees down in spots. Our thanks to all the COs for their contribution to our day...a total of 41 found!

Here is where we made our turnoff to Kingaroy but before turning the corner we stopped off here to make this find. After a short search Eskies5 had the cache and log in hand. Our names signed and the hide was returned so we could start heading west again. TFTC youngoldfella

For some time I've been meaning to get back to visit the Burnett region, and today was the day. An early start was made and a long 12.5 hr day was spent driving 650km through Blackbutt, Yarraman, Nanango, Kingaroy, Murgon, and up to Boat Mountain before returning.
There's been some rubbush dumped out of a car right at GZ by a thoughtless lout, but the hide is still there. Thanks **youngoldfella** for bringing us here, this find makes #3394. Discover our trackable TGQNRV .

We are heading toward a milestone event, so we decided to set ourselves a challenge to achieve a few milestones all at once. To manage this however, we have found ourselves on a roadtrip which would provide us with an abundance of caches ... perfect for our requirements.
Fortunately, all the caches we found today seemed to be pretty straight forward and we managed to add our name to the log book without any difficulty.
Thank you youngoldfella for having placed the series and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

I was out grabbing a few caches with Sweet - Sour in the Nanango area today and this cache was one that appeared on the radar.
We made our way to GZ and after a short search the cache was located.
The log was signed and returned to the cache and the cache replaced exactly as found.
All is good with this cache.

We were heading back down south an inland on our road trip after a quick change of plan due to the weather, and had a lot of km to cover to avoid the rain. We'd bypassed many caches but stopped here briefly to check on a few things, and of course found the cache whilst here! TFTC!

Here for Young Old Fella's Nanango Event & stayed a few extra days to knock a few extra caches out.
The plan was to knock out a few caches in this area & reduce the numbers before anymore a released.
The map was looking sparce out here at one point but now they are popping up each month.
Decided to grab this one on our way home via the old linville road.

A great day of caching with beautiful weather and glorious scenery. We managed to meet up with the splendid Sss - Stacevel, *SuzySquirrel* and Spinna76 and our joint caching activity added to our pleasure of the day. We got a bit sidetracked at a winery near the dam when an very necessary stop was made "to spend a penny" and resulted in wine tasting and leaving with a box under our arm. Nice to be able to make these sorts of stops as well as geocaching. We found this cache after a short search - nice one. Thanks to youngoldfella for its placement and adding to our enjoyment of this location.
Out and about by myself while Mum visits a friend in town for a couple of hours.
So I headed north of town as there is a good chance I will be back for the December event.
Got to leave somewhere to cache.
A quick find here before the storms roll in. Here come the storms.

Hi there youngoldfella. We found your cache "Bark at the Rock not the Gravel" at 12:30:00 PM today. This cache makes our find count 11284.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area today. We started the day off by nominating a cache some distance away from our caravan park and then took a route mainly determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS.
We love youngoldfella caches because the majority are bigger than a mint tin or 200ml Sistema, and are usually "kid friendly".
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Spending a few days up in the Kingaroy and Nanango districts and places closeby from my place in Brisbane. Due to the number of caches found, I have decided to do a generic log. To all the CO's, a big thank you for bringing us to your area and the many varied caches we found. Thank you for bringing us along the country road. TFTC
Having another annual caching trip to Nanango and Kingaroy with Richmond Lad. Last year we thought we had found most of them but some wonderful COs keep putting out more to entice us back to this lovely region of Queensland. We have driven along quiet , gum tree lined country roads, spotted some peaceful waterways and are becoming experts at stumps!!! Thank you to all the COs who have caches in this area - you are all doing a wonderful job creating, placing and maintaining your hides.
Quick find, TFTC
Had a marvellous day out caching today whilst our new solar panels were put on the van roof. We followed a cache trail all the way to Murgon. Had great fish and chips for lunch from the "Snack Shack", sat in the park across the road to eat. Then we drove over to Cherbourg to have a look at the "Ration Shed" Museum. From there back to Nanango to collect the finished van. We wouldn't have seen any of these places if it hadn't been for geocaching. So we thank you heaps for the caches and fun

Enjoying our day exploring the area cache by cache. This one was a nice easy find but a little damp. TFTC, youngoldfella.
Quite a bit of grass obscuring the area but not enough to obscure the sizeable rock on the cache! Not a lot of gravel being stored here right now, but at least it was quiet. TFTC, youngoldfella. =^.^=
Myself, Sweet and Midnight had a stall at the Kingaroy Show over the weekend. After packing up at 1330 on Sunday, we had some time while heading home to find some caches.
Having met some of the scouts at the show, I felt it only proper to find a couple of their caches before heading out of town.
An easy find, although a little wet in side, log OK

I think we may have interrupted someone's plans to steal some if the gravel near GZ. As they pulled in with a trailer and as soon as they noticed us they were off.
This cache was found at 13:30 on 19 April 2015 and is #1234 for my ever growing geo:map.
It was also part of a Geocaching bush adventure that I shared with Fairy Mother today.
When deciding where to go hunting, it is always a struggle trying to find somewhere that one has not been... Well, upon looking at the map it was decided that a place once visited, was calling out for our return. That area being the now heavily cached-up and beloved Nanango.
Thank you for the cache youngoldfella!
