It would make sense that there should be more amorous times between a wife and husband when they are out caching. There is no one around, the mood is peaceful, even romantic. You have birds chirping, the sun is shining, and pheromones are doing things to your brain that confuse you. Then out of nowhere another car comes driving down the dirt road and you are covered in dirt and dust. All thoughts of a sneaky cuddle are the furtherest thing from your minds. tftc
Out doing a loop ride north from Nanango to round up a few caches. Bit over 40 km with 21 caches along the way. I did do a few km along the highway along the way. However there is a nice wide edge to the highway and most vehicles gave me a wide berth.Only cache today with a damp log. Pages can still be written on.
A very last minute decision sees me driving a couple of hours north to spend the day in Nanango…
A great day driving the country roads collecting a variety of caches…

Found whilst on a very non direct route to QOGM - Charleville 2022.
On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird (aka Mrs Geo, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird, Angry Bird & occasionally even Love Bird). It’s a great day for caching.

Two TASSIES still out and about, but turned the corner and heading for home. First day out from Hervey Bay, and "camped" at a rather "unusual" caravan/motorhome park to say the least ! A little sortie this afternoon yielded this cache, even though there was a "road closed" sign, but a vehicle had been through before us so we proceeded to this point where there was actually water running across the road. And further on a possibly impassable section underwater. So this was the end of our tour along Locke Lane courtesy of YOF. May get #1 from the highway end yet !
Tftc YOF, day out from Nanango today to collect a few caches that we missed out on last time we were in the area
Weather fabulous , but will get warmer .

A lovely morning driving around these country roads picking up some smileys and this is one we found. All good here log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for another one youngoldfella.
Nanango Blitz Weekend with Stealth Seeker.
All good here - right where it should be.

I initially went in too far and found only discarded rubbish. Why would someone bring their rubbish all the way out here and dump it. Makes no sense.
Found it after going back to the road and looking in.
Thanks yof for another in the loche series i've managed to do backwards.

Completing a multitude of backlogs from a Bromance trip in August 21. Apologies for the late log. This was a bromance run in between COVID lockdowns, and somehow I didn't get to logging these finds. I was with Seffnjarah and a full team of JeznDez in the new jalopy they had recently purchased. Thanks ot the CO's for the great caches we picked up. Caching roadtrips with friends are the BEST!
2nd night cache find and our 52nd for the day. Why do people dump so much rubbish in places like this. There was so much of it around. Mr EMC was the one that found this cache. We are staying in Nanango for the weekend doing some caches. Always wanted to come out here and this weekend we finally got here. TFTC.
Road trips for The Bromance have been few and far between since Covid-19 raised its ugly head so, with the recent travel restrictions now eased, Seffnjarah, Swellerfungus and a full complement of JezNDez headed off to subject JezNDez's new acquisition Max to the rigours of its first The Bromance geocaching weekend.
Our trip covered the Nanango, Goomeri and Kilkivan areas, and although we had visited this area back in May, we still had plenty of caches left to find up this way, including this one.
The team spent a little while looking for this one, during the search the neighbouring farmer trundled up alongside the fence in his ute inquiring "You're Right?". Despite answering in the affirmative, we received another half dozen "You're Rights?" before he finally trundled away again. The interval was a fortuitous one, with the cache being located immediately thereafter. TFTC

TFTC. We are in Nanago for a few days before heading to Maryborough on Friday. We arrived just after lunch and set up camp at the showgrounds. We then settled on a direction to head to find as many caches as possible in the couple of hours before it got dark. A great couple of hours with 21 finds and only 1 DNF. Despite the rain the dirt roads were in good condition. High grass, so glad we were playing today and not in the height of summer. Thanks YOF for the adventure.
Had to have a second look and then spotted the cache away from the rubbish.

My husband and I are staying at nanango for a couple of days and this afternoon i dropped him off at the races and I'm off finding some caches. Love this country rd. Serenity now. At gz I used the hint for a quick find. Thankyou for all the fun
I bet there's less domestic rubbish at the local wastr transfer than there is between the tree and the fence. Nearly gave up, but a last look from the road side spotted the circular lid. Mrs George kindly retrieved the container, and replaced it after signing. TFTC, YOF.
Trying to remember what I wrote in the offline log in the app. This may have been the one with lots of domestic rubbish behind the tree. If so, we almost gave up until I just spotted it from the roadside after shifting the grass to one side. TFTC, Youngoldfella.
I found your cache with my Dad, Oddiewan and most of the time, Semik. I am way behind on logging so learned how to use templates so I can catch up. Sorry this is not a detailed log, but I will do better with my logging now that I have the ability to log caches on a mobile phone. Thanks for the cache youngoldfella
Caching with Oddiewan, Moneydork, Flash_Cat, BitternA4 and others at the New Year event in Kilkivan. Exploring the area caching style and as always lots of laughs when enjoying time with friends.
Day after the 2019-2020 New Years catch up.
Caching our way home to Brisbane
Caching buddies for this trip are Semik, Money Dork, Flashcat and BitternA4.

On our way south after the QOGM event Blackall, grabbing a few caches on the way. We visited your cache at 8:50 am Logs signed Coongoola or CG. Thanks for placing this cache youngoldfella
No luck here lots of branches, junk around. Local muggle drove past and wondered what we were doing. Told her but she looked puzzled and warned us to stay out of properties.
#9021 - 17:00; Day 3 of the South East Queensland tour with Sol de lune. After a big day of caching around Nanango yesterday, where our efforts exceeded our expectations, we set off to grab a few more caches in the wider region. After collecting the more far flung caches we had on the list for today, we are back in Nanango to pick up the last remaining caches on the list for this area. Decided to leave this one yesterday in the wet, but no problem today and we enjoyed a quick find on a much drier road! TFTC youngoldfella
On a 5 day trip around the south east of Queensland with LuckyL10n chasing Geocaching Australia caches. Now in Nanango and with the GCA logs completed it's time to complete the GC's that were found.
Back in this on day 2 of our Nanango visit and as we driving past we stopped and soon had the cache in hand. No problems and the cache is all good.
Thanks again for the cache Youngoldfella.

I pulled up near gz and left the teens in the car to begin hunting for this cache. Some recent tree cutting made the container hard to spot amongst the old branches, but I retrieved it with a bit of encouragement from a long stick and added my name to the log. Tftc youngoldfella!
Continued along the road for a quick find with bennyboppers mnance01 and jemillalucy. Tftc
Out caching for the weekend with the Tough Mother’s (Jemillalucy, Bennyboppers, and Lisylou). TFTC!
Unfortunately this one was not hidden properly and we could see it from the car as we drove up to GZ. Tried to cover up with more natural materials to expose it less.
A little chilly start to the morning ready to find some caches enjoyed the hides signed log and returned container. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache. TFTC
Out and about on a day of caching adventures, seeking Hidden Creatures and getting a few smilies . After a very early and foggy start to the day we arrived in Nanango for a quick stop to stretch the legs and acquire some sustenance for the day ahead. We then travelled up hills, down dales and all over the local country lanes bouncing over pot holes and swimming through a few boggy patches.
We scrambled through long grass, poked our hands into all manner of hidey holes and found all the caches in good order, where they were supposed to be. Logs were signed and everything was returned as found. Thanks youngoldfella for a most enjoyable day and for bringing us to a new place to explore. TNLNSL TFTC .

Today's caching hunt was brought to us courtesy of youngoldfella, with his extensive list of caches in and around Nanango. We have had another busy day selecting from the menu on offer and have had a lot of fun.
Apologies for the generic log but that's the way it has to be for us. Each found cache had our name put on its log before it was replaced as it had been found. Thanks, youngoldfella, for the variety of containers and hide types. We only wish we had more time to continue working on your caches.

I love these containers, they make park and grabs easy to do and don't usually cause too much grief trying to find them.
Decided to spend a few days camping in Nanango with my geodog Scruffy, so we just had to go out and find some of the caches hidden in this beautiful part of QLD.

Another nice quick find at this cache. Nah, not really, I looked at a few wrong spots first as my GPSr was playing with me again. Got there in the end though! Thanks for this cache, youngoldfella!
It was a very pleasant day for a ride. I left the car at 10am, with no real goal in mind, except however many of the caches along these roads I could get to.
No TB in the cache today.

Almost at the end, or should that be start, of the Lane now, and we pulled up a little further past the cache so needed to head back. After a little toing and froing which side of the Lane we needed to be on, Wombles&Co made the find.
Thanks for the cache youngoldfella.

It was a shaky start to our caching afternoon in Nanango, our first hunt a dnf, & our next a could not attempt because muggles were parked opposite gz. Finally, we found success here. Phew!! Tnsl tftc youngoldfella xo
After finding a nearby cache, we continued along the lane to this one. The cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
We will be leaving very soon to attend the Red Centre Experience Event being held in Alice Springs and have decided we would try to make that event a milestone ... the only problem is we are a few hundred caches short This was the perfect excuse for a quick road trip through Nanango/Murgon/Kingaroy The weather was a little rainy, but surprisingly we remained relatively dry during the day with the worst of the rain occurring while we camped overnight [^]
We managed to locate this cache easily and with our name added to the log book, we continued on our journey.
Thank you youngoldfella for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Travelling around Australia and now super excited to be finally starting our trek to the Easter Geocaching Event at Alice Springs.
Spoilt for choice it was difficult to decide on where to cache today. We decided on a small loop before lunch then a longer list for the afternoon.
We were impressed with the quality of the cache locations and containers here in Nanango. Very happy with our total of 42 finds with only 2 DNF's add to that 1 cache that muggles were hanging around even though we tried twice today. Think we will retry that on Monday when schools in.

On a cache run from Toowoomba to Nanango with Eskies5 as I head towards a targeted milestone. Skipping over Nanango we decided to head down this road and do a bit of a loop to grab a stack! All caches along here were found after a quick search, GPS coords were excellent. Containers in great condition. Sorry about the cut and paste logs, so many found today! TFTC and day youngoldfella
Found it! My daughter spotted it before we even got out of the car. Covered it a bit better. TFTC.

Went out and checked on this one and yes I could not find it. Amazing how it could just disappear from its concealed hide in 3 days. Replaced with similar container with pen. Please bring our own writing stick in case this one disappears or does not work. All good to go.
After spending the last few weeks settling in to my new abode and being domestic and stuff like that. Decided that I had to get back to doing what I like best Geo Caching. So I set out on a mini road trip to explore my new surrounds and hopefully pick a few caches along the way. Thanks for bringing me here
Today was a combination of both domestic duties and geocaching. After moving into the caravan park and saying gidday to the Gullivers it was time to wash clothes, the floor, do some cooking etc. Then out we headed to do some geocaching. We love these rural areas for geocaching and we enjoyed the location and finding the cache. Thanks to youngoldfella for its placement and adding to our enjoyment of this location.
Captain Terror and I had been looking forward to this weekend for quite some time. We had driven up last night and after failing to sleep in this morning we decided to grab a bunch of geocaches before the event.
This was the tenth cache for the day, I read Captain Terror's log before writing this ... he does flap on doesn't he! After splashing through the puddles in the Subaru we arrived close to this cache. It took a second look but the container was found without much hassle. Once our names were in the logbook we replaced all as found. Thanks for the cache youngoldfella
