DNF ?? however we did look in quite a number of areas according to hint & navigation. Found an area spot-on coordinates but it looks to have been muggled.May require Owner or previous finder to check in on this GC.
A very last minute decision sees me driving a couple of hours north to spend the day in Nanango…
A great day driving the country roads collecting a variety of caches…

Found whilst on a very non direct route to QOGM - Charleville 2022.
On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird (aka Mrs Geo, Salty Chook, the Old Boiler, Old Chook, Dirty Bird, Angry Bird & occasionally even Love Bird). It’s a great day for caching.

Two old Tassies having another go at a few caches not too far out, fitting them in between other necessities for the day. Got a fair string this arvo. including this one which was a neasy grab for a driveby, and a neat little container too. Thanks for many of today's finds youngoldfella.
Rain put a bit of a dampener on today's plans literally, but in the morning it allowed us to do a bit of housekeeping and minor repairs.
After lunch from the pizza place in town we decided to head out and dodge the showers and see what we could find. Our early efforts where stymied when Loche Lane was closed, but we moved around to some others. When finished here we thought we would push our luck and head out to Nanago Brooklands Rd and a few caches that are along there. That was a great decision as there was some really good caching along that section.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache youngoldfella.

We weren't sure if we would have any luck here after the recent DNF (the recent 'finder' has not signed any logs that we have come across so far!) Happily we did find the cache, it was out on the open ground so we replaced it according to the hint.

A lovely morning driving around these country roads picking up some smileys and this is one we found. All good here log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for another one youngoldfella.
Nanango Blitz Weekend with Stealth Seeker.
Another easy find on a quiet country road.
Another easy find on a quiet country road.
After a couple of days cycling in the area it was time to head home. However there is more than one way home and more than one way to travel the back roads.
Spent a very enjoyable day ambling back to Linville (not on the BVRT) . Some beautiful country through here as well.
Quick find - unfortunately found a road kill just after.

This took a little while to find.
On a first round of the obvious hide, i missed it and went further afield and then everywhere else before finally coming back to where i started and there it was all the time.
What's this animal sanctuary? Would love to know more about it. If the day wasn't getting on, i would have ridden further exploring this new reserve.
Another trip.
Thanks yof for showing me here today.

We pull off the highway and onto the track and there standing in the middle is some random lady. She didn't have a car and was standing there. When she saw us coming she moved away. In fact it was like she was there one minute and gone the next. I never saw where she went. Weird. This was the smallest regular I have ever seen. Seems like it was swapped at some point in time. TFTC. 21 done.
TFTC. We are in Nanago for a few days before heading to Maryborough on Friday. We arrived just after lunch and set up camp at the showgrounds. We then settled on a direction to head to find as many caches as possible in the couple of hours before it got dark. A great couple of hours with 21 finds and only 1 DNF. Despite the rain the dirt roads were in good condition. High grass, so glad we were playing today and not in the height of summer. Thanks YOF for the adventure.
My husband and I are staying at nanango for a couple of days and this afternoon i dropped him off at the races and I'm off finding some caches. Love this country rd. Hint led me straight to this one. Thankyou for all the fun
A quick grab once the gps decided to give me proper direction instead of playing silly bbbs. TFTC,YOF.
Found this one right where the GPS thought was GZ. Got the container open after a bit of fiddling. TFTC, Youngoldfella.
I found your cache with my Dad, Oddiewan and most of the time, Semik. I am way behind on logging so learned how to use templates so I can catch up. Sorry this is not a detailed log, but I will do better with my logging now that I have the ability to log caches on a mobile phone. Thanks for the cache youngoldfella

Caching with Oddiewan, Moneydork, Flash_Cat, BitternA4 and others at the New Year event in Kilkivan. Exploring the area caching style and as always lots of laughs when enjoying time with friends.
On our way home slowly after the QOGM event in Blackall and finding some great geocaches along the way.
If the container is small we may sign as CG.
There's evidence of a fire and we left a replacement and hopefully will be okay with the CO.
Lots of thanks to youngoldfella for placing the cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.

#9015 - 07:40; Day 2 of the South East Queensland tour with Sol de lune. Made it to Nanango late yesterday after getting belted by a storm later in the afternoon/early evening. Much to our relief the heavy rain seems to be moving on and it is only overcast and occasional light drizzle this morning. Emerged from the muddy road and had this cache in hand soon after. TFTC youngoldfella
On a 5 day trip around the south east of Queensland with LuckyL10n chasing Geocaching Australia caches. Now in Nanango and with the GCA logs completed it's time to complete the GC's that were found.
The area was rather wet this morning so that curtailed our GC plans a little, however we still found the ones that were close by, this being one. No issues and the cache was soon in hand. Hadn't realised it was over 6 months since the last find. Cache was all good.
Thanks again for the cache Youngoldfella...

Out and about on a day of caching adventures, seeking Hidden Creatures and getting a few smilies . After a very early and foggy start to the day we arrived in Nanango for a quick stop to stretch the legs and acquire some sustenance for the day ahead. We then travelled up hills, down dales and all over the local country lanes bouncing over pot holes and swimming through a few boggy patches.
We scrambled through long grass, poked our hands into all manner of hidey holes and found all the caches in good order, where they were supposed to be. Logs were signed and everything was returned as found. Thanks youngoldfella for a most enjoyable day and for bringing us to a new place to explore. TNLNSL TFTC .

Today's caching hunt was brought to us courtesy of youngoldfella, with his extensive list of caches in and around Nanango. We have had another busy day selecting from the menu on offer and have had a lot of fun.
Apologies for the generic log but that's the way it has to be for us. Each found cache had our name put on its log before it was replaced as it had been found. Thanks, youngoldfella, for the variety of containers and hide types. We only wish we had more time to continue working on your caches.

We spied this Cache even before we got out of the car, so it was a pretty quick visit here for us today.
Decided to spend a few days camping in Nanango with my geodog Scruffy, so we just had to go out and find some of the caches hidden in this beautiful part of QLD.

Up North today today finding some caches I've purposely left for a day like this. With my thermos filled and tunes pumping, I set off.
Oh dear my GPSr was bouncy today, it certainly makes things tricky. Found after a little while. Thanks for the cache, youngoldfella!

Once again I stopped about 10m from GZ. I think the GPSr was still catching up because I headed in the wrong direction, even if it looked like a good place for a hide.
I even found a container, but I don't think this CO would use one of these as a cache. I removed the container and will dispose of it properly.
Checked the hint and relocated to the other side of the track.

As we pulled up another car and trailer pulled up just before us, so we weren't parked as close to GZ as we could have been. They got out and checked something on the back of the vehicle then climbed in and left, so we got out and walked down to GZ where NyssaFlutterby and Wombles&Co made the find while I was searching further away where my ph seemed to suggest.
Thanks for the cache youngoldfella.

We will be leaving very soon to attend the Red Centre Experience Event being held in Alice Springs and have decided we would try to make that event a milestone ... the only problem is we are a few hundred caches short This was the perfect excuse for a quick road trip through Nanango/Murgon/Kingaroy The weather was a little rainy, but surprisingly we remained relatively dry during the day with the worst of the rain occurring while we camped overnight [^]
We managed to locate this cache easily and with our name added to the log book, we continued on our journey.
Thank you youngoldfella for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Travelling around Australia and now super excited to be finally starting our trek to the Easter Geocaching Event at Alice Springs.
Spoilt for choice it was difficult to decide on where to cache today. We decided on a small loop before lunch then a longer list for the afternoon.
We were impressed with the quality of the cache locations and containers here in Nanango. Very happy with our total of 42 finds with only 2 DNF's add to that 1 cache that muggles were hanging around even though we tried twice today. Think we will retry that on Monday when schools in.

On a cache run from Toowoomba to Nanango with Eskies5 as I head towards a targeted milestone. Skipping over Nanango we decided to head down this road and do a bit of a loop to grab a stack! All caches along here were found after a quick search, GPS coords were excellent. Containers in great condition. Sorry about the cut and paste logs, so many found today! TFTC and day youngoldfella
A numbers run was required in order for Kestal to reach a milestone on an upcoming trip and the Nanango area provided a suitable playground. Usually I am a list maker but today I was just the driver and I had no idea what was on the agenda...a handful of those on the list I had previously found but was happy to stop by again for Kestal to jump out and make the find. I apologise for the largely cut n paste logs as we did manage to collect 50+ smilies today. TFTC youngoldfella.
another day of our touring through QLD. Thanks to all the CO's for the caches that break the monotony of travelling, and adding to our list of smileys.
Not much flora to be seen today. I took the wander through the bushes and next I see the car parked right next to me, oh well we signed the log and I had a ride back to the corner and onto the next one. TFTC
Decided to go for a drive today with the GeoWife and clean up a few green icons along the way. Plenty of fun finds and great caches. Thank you for placing the caches to be found. Tftc
After spending the last few weeks settling in to my new abode and being domestic and stuff like that. Decided that I had to get back to doing what I like best Geo Caching. So I set out on a mini road trip to explore my new surrounds and hopefully pick a few caches along the way. Thanks for bringing me here
Today was a combination of both domestic duties and geocaching. After moving into the caravan park and saying gidday to the Gullivers it was time to wash clothes, the floor, do some cooking etc. Then out we headed to do some geocaching. We love these rural areas for geocaching and we enjoyed the location and finding the cache. Thanks to youngoldfella for its placement and adding to our enjoyment of this location.
Captain Terror and I had been looking forward to this weekend for quite some time. We had driven up last night and after failing to sleep in this morning we decided to grab a bunch of geocaches before the event.
This was the fifteenth cache for the day and we were on the final stretch back to Town for the event. Getting to this one wasn't as simple as the others as Captain Terror's maps didn't match the road. Shall we just assume that we can carry on this way? Sure enough we ended up at GZ. When we got there finding the cache was nice and easy. Thanks for the cache youngoldfella.

Genyo and I were pumping through the caches in the area in an attempt to catch upto Ms Maddy. We had this cache in hand quick enough and moved onto the next find. TFTC!
Found with Tassiegirl while out here for this weekend's event.
It's great getting out in the bush and finding caches around places like this.
These types of cache runs let you see a lot more of the area than just what's beside the highway to the next town.

Last night Net88 and I drove up to Nanango to begin our long weekend for Nanango's First Event. Arriving later than anticipated, then putting up the tent meant an exceedingly early night by our standards. Then, when the sun came up and it was bright in the tent at around 04:30 we had no choice but to get up and begin the day. With a few hours between breakfast and the event starting, we chose to go geocaching, of course. So many to find so we targeted by size, prioritising Large containers, then any regulars in between - which made for a most enjoyable and productive morning.
The name of this one made both of us chuckle after a particularly agressive CO nearer home got angry on social media for finders of their geocaches 'destroying the area by stepping on the fauna'. I am sure you, dear reader with a decent grasp of the english language, can see where they've gone wrong. I had images of geocachers jumping up and down on cartoon possums with 'X's for eyes.
Getting to this geocache confused us a wee bit as my GPSr maps didn't agree with the roads the car was on. Whatever, let's just follow our nose. Ah yeah, that worked and soon the car was alongside the Goal Zone. As was a big ants nest. Brave face on, I dashed out for the grab, which was a quick effort. The logbook was a bit damp, but the lid hadn't been replaced proper. We dried it out, although it was still writeable. Then replaced the lid good and secure and hide again as found. Thanks for this geocache, youngoldfella
