Just one more cache.before we have to be in Beechworth for lunch. Quick find with lorigus74. TFTC BettyBoo3747
Found while enjoying a day trip around the area. The sunshine is divine. Found with weareGleesos our way to Beechworth for lunch. Many thanks BettyBoo3747 for providing this game piece for our enjoyment.Greetings from Tatura, Australia
Found on a wet dayAfter attending an event in Albury, out with Ampitup1 Great day to be out
Finally after many years I have nearly finished caching along the E2W.A great sunny winters day for a walk. 7kms and 8 caches for the day. The last cache for the day. A quick find, log signed and returned as found
I have arrived in the area to log some more of the Basketball series, but grabbing some others when they are close by. I had just had a dnf on a cache that had me walking in the heat of the day,in inappropriate clothing, and I was feeling a bit down. Just as I was about to drive off, I noticed this one lurking on my map. A nice quick find. Thanks for lifting my spirits again, BettyBoo3747. Now success awaits.
I was heading up this way to catch up with friends and to camp out with them at Broken Creek for the weekend.
After staying in Benella for the night Beechworth is my destination for the day before heading back to Broken Creek and to met up with the rest of the gang.
The weather has not improved much this morning so it looks like it might be a wet camping weekend away.
The main plan of heading to Beechworth was to complete the Randolph series but after finding 5 of them and also the lab final the weather finally beat me.
I was just to cold and wet to continue so back to the Geocruiser and head back to Benella.
After a bite to eat and the comfort of the dry Geocruiser the rain decided to stop so I was able to find a few more on the way back.
I like these ones that are on rail trails that are close to the roads coz since I’m lazy and don’t have my bike I’m able to pick up a few more.
Thanks BettyBoo3747 TFTC.

Out on my Ebike along the trail today finding these caches a couple of dnf but had a good day out caching TFTC
Sure does. How could anyone not see that?!
Exploring rural Victoria as part of the SPINZ team: Sidewaze, paddle chick, Isis58 and Nanzie from New Zealand. I’m really enjoying the landscape and seeing what goes on in this neck of the woods. All the different eucalypts, the pepper trees and other interesting plants. The colourful birds, some quite noisy and some very noisy. The many vistas - - beautiful in sunlight and shade. I loved visiting each and every cache and really appreciate the effort required to hide and maintain them. Thanks to the cache owners. Greetings from Aotearoa / New Zealand, happy caching and if you have yet to visit us across the ditch to see what we have to offer, do make sure you enter such a visit on your “to do” list.

Found with LittleBoss2 on our trip from Bright to Everton. Quick find here. Cache had a huge mud wasp nest attached to it, but it fell off when i opened the lid. Thanks Bettyboo
Spending a week in Bright exploring the surrounding area. Quick find with Bogonghazy. Thanks for bringing us here
Found previously with BlackOpal2005. We thought it was time to create our own accounts.
Found with catnap777 as we visited Wangaratta and surrounds for a quiet day out on our very own.
Just a couple more before we headed for home. [^] Cat' had already scribed her mark into this one a long time ago so she marched on as I paused long enough to add my own to this cache found just about half way between the last one and the next one.

Found doing the M2M rail trail with 2 of my sisters over three days. We started in Wang and rode to Beechworth. The next day we coasted 14km downhill from Beechworth and then rode to Myrtleford. Finally we rode to Bright on the 3rd day.
Thanks BettyBoo3747

Had a nights accommodation booked in Wangaratta as my geohusband had a jet fighter plane flight booked. When the flight was cancelled due to the weather forecast we still made the trip up and hit the rail trail for some caching. The plan was to do as much of the trail as we could. TFTC

Find #8437 at 13:14.
Out with Wollaston and SeasonedBird today. This is one of the caches we targeted and found thankyou for giving us the opportunity to explore.
Attending the Wangaratta Mega weekend with the ladies of FurfacesLL, we collected heaps of caches and saw many scenic views along the way. Today we were back on the bike trail, we had a mix of heat, rain, humidity, mozzies and flies.
Picking up where we left off on Friday and it was time to continue our travels. It was a great day out on the trail with lots of laughter along the way. Some finds were nice and quick and some took a little longer, but in the end, we found most.
Thanks to the CO for the cache placement for us to all enjoy. Thanks to the FFLL ladies for a fun filled trip away

Day 4 of the Wangaratta Mega with Rapidlywild.
Today we decided to head early to try and beat the heat and call into Beechworth first to do one of the labs there and then it was back onto the trail with the bikes.
Back on the trail and thankfully when we started it was still cool, but it looked like it would be a very warm one.
All caches were found along the journey unless otherwise mentioned.
Great trail and glad we took the time out to make the journey.
Thanks for the hide and maintaining BettyBoo3747

Budgie flew out of the car here. He must of been juicing up in the back seat, He was across the road and logging in no time. What stamina!
Thanks BettyBoo3747
I had been set to attend another Victorian Mega but the damn pandemic began and for obvious reasons one was cancelled and one was postponed. I was pleased the postponed Wangaratta event went ahead but have to admit I was still apprehensive about the COVID situation. Although attending all events, (except 1 of the CITOs) keeping distance was still a priority. I had a great time touring with 1TOOLMAN and Budgietas although there was an empty void where SSR should have been.
As well as Wangaratta, we visited The Paps, Mt Buller, Benalla, Glenrowan, Winton and even popped in to Lex country, having dinner at Brady’s Railway Hotel. Our find numbers were low but our laugh count was high so I call that a win!

Found this cache as part of a run of 100 caches that included a few of the HSS caches, the gourment series and the Ned Kelly Helmet Series. We found this cache after the element series completing a loop back around towards beechworth

The Mega in Victoria I had always planned to attend, but due to covid changes I was concerned, I wouldn’t be able to due to work commitments. As these commitments cleared up, I planned to go over and catch up with GoosenEgg, Stainless Steel Rat, and 1Toolman while in Wangaratta for a day caching to attempt to find 100 in one day. As things turned out Stainless Steel Rat was unable to go, so I was invited to join GoosenEgg and 1Toolman for the entire period. 1Toolman collected us from the airport and we immediately drove to Victoria’s 1st Geocache. From there during the 4 days, we visited Wangaratta, Mt Buller, Albury, Wodonga, Benella, Glenrowan, and Beechworth (although we didn’t make the bakery much to 1Toolmans disgust)
The trip was less about numbers and more about visiting places that I had only driven through before. We did manage to complete the Ned Kelly Helmet series and find a great Earthcache at Murmungee Lookout and another cache at “The Paps” which gave tremendous views of the area. The GPS maze, which I must say was one of the greatest attractions was also attended as with another cacher I was first through on the Saturday Morning at 8.15. It was great to get this icon on my profile.
Of the trip, it was certainly hot and humid, but we really didn’t get rained on in any serious way, with the major storm passing through at night time, otherwise it was just hot or very hot depending on the time of the day.

Find #12 on our Mega trip. Nice easy find here - no bikes going past so we were uninterrupted.
Thanks for the fun.
Thanks for the fun.
Another easy find for our 6th find for the day and 12th for the trip so far. Thanks for the fun
This is a great trail. No traffic. Tar road. Countryside serenity. Each cache is different. Excellent. TFTC series.
An easy find and the chance to stretch my legs on the way to Beechworth for an event this evening, thanks BettyBoo3747
A quickie before we get the bikes and ride trail, thanks for the cache BettyBoo3747
Stopping here to do a few on the trail on our way into Beechworth the unfit Triton made this find while the other team member rode his fold up bike which was very funny to see, especially when the real cyclists in their lycra clothes and good bikes rode past him.
Thanks BettyBoo3747 for the hide.
Thanks BettyBoo3747 for the hide.
What a busy road at the time we were there. Out and about walking some of the rail trail with geodog. Quick find. TFTC
I like a straightforward cache in a logical spot, and this was no exception. Thanks for the quick find!
The start of our big day riding the trails. It was cool in the morning but became very warm later in the day. The container was found just where the numbers took us, signed in and we moved on.
Getting tired now.
Thanks BettyBoo3747

School holiday time at Christmas – hooray. A week in Beechworth in the caravan (3 times already to Beechworth) with our daughter. Sunny all week, window shopping, visiting historic sights, walking in the bush, supporting local businesses, & geocaching of course. Found at 1238 by AK.
As a member of TeamOZCAT logged in this cache, I am now logging as an individual predominantly to avoid any mistaken/unnecessary revisitation.
Under groundspeak guidelines, this logging is acceptable as I was indeed at Cache GZ in person in recent times. However, all cache owners have the right to delete logs as they see fit. Usually done to "Armchair loggers" or inappropriate texting.
If any cache Owner/s have questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact.
TeamOZCAT logged finds when both Karen and Reg logged as individuals. This logging is exactly the same, only in reverse. Again, groundspeak acceptable.
For an unspecified period of time TeamOZCAT are no longer cache searching but remain active in our cache management and maintenance.
I sincerely thank all CO's and wish you all the best in your endeavours. Cheers Karen

Many cache owners are already aware: As per Groundspeak guidelines, I am claiming find because physically found under TeamOzcat. I undertake this not for disinterested statistical purposes, but because of inability to revisit this cache, and/or because it's so damn confusing when viewing the local district geocache maps. I sincerely thank all CO's for time and effort in placement of their caches. Cheers Reg.
We departed Wodonga early morning for Wang and make use of a full day. After some shopping and a coffee in town, we headed off to Everton with the goal to take on board various caches Roadside/Rail Trail and Diffy Rd. Many thanks to all cache owners and all those caches found were in a sound condition. All in all, we had a joyful day and as usual, regardless of any forecast, this Team brings out the best of weather. Again, thanks kindly cache owners.
Will fix up when we are free to travel again after home isolation due to COVID-19 guidelines.
Second of a cluster of finds around here this afternoon and it was a nice quick find from the obvious location at 16:30.
TNLNSL, although our Happy New Year to the cache geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks BettyBoo3747.

Beautiful weather today for caching day. Heading home to Melbourne from Beechworth. Thanks BettyBoo3747 for placing the cache
Today I bicycled the M2M from Wangaratta to Everton. A great ride that I thoroughly enjoyed. Had a pretty good strike rate overall, but there was the odd inevitable DNF along the way as well. Thanks to everyone for all the cache placements, and also thanks to Nigel for the bicycle hire and shuttle service. Cheers and TFTC
Been finding a few of these hides! The rail trail looks very inviting.... for another day. Thanks!
Another good spot for a cache. Had our picnic lunch by the side of the load unde rthe shade of a beautiful huge eucalyptus tree.

Driving home from WANGARATTA this evening, on a few roads we have not yet travelled. Unrealistic target on a hot afternoon, but we did manage to fit in 10 caches, with only one DNF over a combination of BettyBoo, Harrowang, Bingley and RobMC caches.
Got it when we stopped here. Thanks BB
