Looked for quite some time to no avail. Went to sign Bushjunkie2 and then looked again on the way back.
I spent about about 30min looking for this today. I looked at a lot of logs on the ground. Also read a lot of logs and even tried to match up log photos to my surroundings. The environment has obviously changed quite a bit and it’s been a while since it’s been found so maybe it has been washed downhill or overgrown. I’ll check with someone who has found it before and come back for another look later.
Had an opportunity to tick off two caches this afternoon. This was number 1. Parked a little further up Moggill Road and dog and I walked to the track entrance. The water was still running down the track from the recent rains. It was a good climb to the cache area. I was about 10m from cache where the track turned, but as people were out and about in the nearby house, I checked the hint to enable me to be as quick as possible. I didn't take long at all to spot the container. Cache was all dry and name was entered into the log sheet. Container returned and it was up the hill further to reach cache number 2. Thanks very much for the cache placement here Man.Vs.Cache. Cheers
Onwards and downwards. I think the steepest section of this track is between these two caches.
Struggled with this one. Did a few laps, looked at a few possible spots. Circled the other direction and finally spotted it.

This evening after work, I decided to go for a quick mountain jog/climb, and target the *Bush Junkie* geocaches from The Gap. My vehicle navigator took me the wrong way through the side streets, and so I decided to park at a dead-end, and progress on foot through the foot path shortcuts. It was a steep trek up, but nevertheless good fitness. I selected a couple of remaining miscellaneous geocaches to visit before returning home.
This was my first geocache find for the day, and I didn't seem to have too much trouble with locating it. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Man.Vs.Cache for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

The GPS was s bit bouncy but it soon settled and the cache was soon un hand. TFTC
On the last of my weekly Wednesday wanderings to kill time whilst junior DisSister is at a class nearby, I chose this trail that I haven’t walked before as my target. I’m glad this wasn’t too far along the track so I could have a little breather before tackling the walk to the next one. Cache was found safe and well tucked away. TFTC Man.Vs.Cache
Was doing a few short walks this morning, logging some of the less accessible caches.
This one was at the start of the track.

Out with Liz and Bruce and Chamad hunting down a few cache's in the area. This was a nice quick find.

Out today with Team Tyrrell and Liz and Bruce collecting puzzle caches and anything else in the area. This was one of today’s collections; while we were mainly concentrating on the sound series of caches it was hard not to collect others as we passed by. It was a fun day with lots of laughs and joking along the way, I’d be happy to cache any day with these people.
All good with this cache, thank you to the CO for placing this one here.

Out on a very chilly morning with nikid1 for a catch up & some caching. This is a pretty area & there were a couple of other walkers enjoying the chilly morning with a walk. Man that's a steep hill (or more likely I'm just really unfit!), found the cleverly camoflauged cache after a few minutes of searching.

Huffed and puffed up this hill. Overshot the cache but KerriMG made the find. Only when I got back to the car did KerriMG mention the next one in the series. I’ll save that for another day. TFTC Man.Vs.Cache
A free Sunday morning, so I put together a list of unfound caches to grab and headed out to Ashgrove and The Gap.
I have often considering walking down from the top of the mountain to grab this cache and its twin, but always thought it more sensible to head up from the bottom. The right side of the track has recently been burnt off and the smell of bushfire is still on the nose.
A nice quick find , then onwards and upwards. Thanks Man v Cache

We are out in the bush on a wet Saturday. Everything looks very green and lush after the rain over the last 24 hours. It is nice to see some rain in the area! We parked not too far from G and then made our way up the hill to find this one quickly. Thanks for the geocache and for the exercise we are getting along the way also.
Log signed and replaced is found.

Mrs VC was keen for me to do this cache as there was no way she was going to try hobbling up that track in a moon boot.
I was also a touch less than eager as I have a dodgy hip in need of replacement but hey, someone has to take one for the team. LOL …
As I began up the track I started having flashbacks to the night I went out with caching buddies in search of Tardis, Dalek & a few others … very similar track, up, up, up then up followed by lots of up & all of it slippery & grainy (especially in my caching thong)s.
This wasn't too bad though as it was only a short distance before I came across GZ & a cache nicely tucked away from prying eyes.
Well that wasn't too bad.
Made our mark & replaced as found.
It was as I reached the halfway point back to the Geo-Beast that Mrs VC rang to advise me that there was another one just 300 metres further on.
Groan … about face & off I go.

Found on a hike up the mountain with a buddy today. What a great day to get outside!
Thanks heaps

With a new batch of audio puzzles published and solved during the week, TeamARF and I braved the brisk early morning temperatures to collect them, and several others along the way. TeamARF kindly agreed to revisit this one with me though he was only here a short while ago.

Hobbling up the hill whilst silently cursing! When did you say we would have hills today? Knee not happy after last weekend hike! Managed to limp up and cache soon located! Lovely part of the mountain.
After a georode audio assault nearby, it was the perfect launching spot to check out the junkie twins. Had been up the hill over the last few weeks but never quite in the right spot to continue down the track. Much better to walk up a short trail than the whole mountain.
With a hobbling Gcoven in tow, tackled the first slope and made it to GZ. Checked a few spots before resorting to the hint. Went further afield and noted something that was too coincidental. And it was!! Found the cache nicely tucked away. Thanks for placing this cache Man.Vs.Cache.

I've had man-flu for the past two weeks and, as everyone knows, this is the most debilitating illness of all. So, there have been no geocaching expeditions for a while. Now that I'm slightly less bubonic, I thought I'd kick things off again with a stroll to Bush Junkie One and Two.
A stroll? Please. I stupidly tackled these from the top (parked the car near Channel 7), and it was definitely a test for my recently plagued lungs. Finding this cache was also a minor challenge, because I had some shocking GPS bounce. At one point, it wanted me on the driveway of the nearby house. Got it in the end, then turned to face the steep march back up the hill. Thanks, Man.Vs.Cache.

Ah hills, where 50m equals a 100m walk. Found on a lovely summer's afternoon with a free muggles coming down the track to make things interesting. All is good with this cache. Tftc
I continued on down the hill from Bush Junkie Two to see if I could find this one. Oh, that's going to be fun to walk back up to Mt Coot-tha and the car, LOL! I wasn't quite sure where I was going to end up with this one and was a bit concerned that the muggle dog was going to give me away, but I needn't have worried, the hint soon had me with a container in my hand. TFTC Man.Vs.Cache
I had just escaped from armed shubbery and decided to continue on down the road. That's a lovely hill you have there! Being time short I decided against BJII This one was found quickly and then I was back in Spangle headed towards caches with a little less altitude
Thanks for the cache Man.Vs.Cache

Out riding at gap Creek for the morning so the logical thing was to seek nearby caches on the way home. Ridden up this path before but only needed a little climb to this one.
Taking out some newbies, we came and had a good look around. The compass was a bit all over the place but we found it in the end. TFTC.

Having been out towards Redbank and returning back stopping in at Kenmore we decided to make another detour here to grab a "B" cache for December (which I later was advised by NyssaFlutterby that I had already grabbed the other day - duh!). After all grabbing sneaky ice creams at a servo in Kenmore I guess this was some required exercise up the hill tho we didn't have to go far at least to make our find. Thanks for the cache Man.Vs.Cache.

After work today, I made my way to The Gap. I parked the car and made my say a short distance up the hill and began searching for this cache. It wasnt long before I spotted something a little odd and went to investigate. That investigation revealed the cache. I signed the log, returned the cache to its hiding spot and then continued on my way. TFTC
After finding BJ2 a while ago, I decided to come back and attempt no. 1. It was easier than I expected due to the fact that backburning had cleared all of the surrounding vegetation. TNLNSL.
TFTC... 31Oct2016. Whooooo! Tough Mothers day out found a steep walk in but an easy enough find.
Out caching with Remsjw, Misssusan, Lisylou, Jemillalucy and Bennyboppers. Nice easy find. TFTC!
Bush Junkie One is clearly indestructible, having survived a council burnoff intact and undamaged.
Container was out in the open downhill from a few old logs. Cache still in good condition. Replaced in a slightly more secluded position.
Finally got around to grabbing this one about 6 months after doing the other Bush Junkie lol took the easier route this time

After completing a fantastic walk this morning along Northbrook Creek Gorge, I called in to another couple of caches along the way home to help keep the T rating ticking up ever so slowly. Found this one a little exposed so after signing the log I placed the cammo back in place before heading back to the car. TFTC
Heading out on my bike for a bush ride when I remembered this one was on my list. Nice hide, but trees played havoc with the phone GPS. I will sign on my next ride through here (2 weeks?) as no pen today. Took a photo for proof if needed. TFTC!
This one was a little bit of a nemesis cache for me. I've been by once before and thought I had looked in every nook but came away empty handed. So I was back today with out much confidence. Having read the previous logs that mentioned the coordinate were spot on made me decide to follow my phone off the path and start the game of follow the bouncy arrow.
After my phone decided on one GZ I looked in a few spots and was about to give up when I thought I'd check a bit over then and I spied the little fella! Huzzah.
Well, am glad to have that one done.
Thanks for the cache and for showing me the new part of Mt Cootha!

The coords are spot on, I approached from the right direction, and spied the hide nice and quickly.
Never knew this bushland access existed. I think I'll need to explore in here some more....

First up and this was not even quite a warm up for the second, but none the less I made my way up and I was soon close. A little look around and soon enough the container was in hand and I was adding my name to the log. I knew what was ahead so there was nothing for it but to just get started.

So many small logs camouflaged by nature. I just happened to trip the right one. Another nice spots in rhe burbs. Signed and returned.
Saw that this one was back in action.
Had already visited the other one in the series but not this one.
Glad it was a shorter journey.
Found after a short search.

Cache temporarily removed due to scheduled burn off in this area. Will be back in September.
!!!!!tftc!!!!! a nice brisk walk up hill and quite a bit of circling then oh what is that a cache !!!!!!
Out and about today doing a maintenance run for my nearby series.
Afterwards I headed to these two caches.
A bit of searching before finally spotting this one.
Thanks for the cache.

today we had a lot of fun when we visited Mt Coot-ha, finding this cache went with it, tftc
The Shadow demanded a walk so I thought why not Mt Coot-tha foothills. We stopped on the way up but a quick look failed to reveal anything. With a closer inspection on the way back the container was soon found. TFTC
I had some time before picking up geoson and this had been closest to home for a while. I had climbed this track before and I was very glad it was only this far up as this track is a bit of a killer
At GZ, I was surprised just how close the houses were, very lucky to live this close
After a little search I spotted the cache and signed the log book. All good with the cache.
Thanks

More downhill from Bush Junkie Two, but not quite as steep now. Found the cache container in the middle of the gravel totally uncovered. Signed in, but could not see where it should have been hiding, so parked it beside the track behind a small log. TFTC, Cache.Vs.Man.
Now that hill! Turned out a bit easier than coming down, even if it involved a bit more exertion. At least going up I was not scared of slipping and resting on my rear end.

I woke up early and decided to come on over, hoping my fitness level was better now than when I attempted the cache further up this track.
After a short walk, I was surprised to be at GZ so soon. A short search then revealed the cache, but sadly the container immediately detached itself from its camo: I think the rain may have had something to do with it, but I felt bad about it anyway.
Everything is fine inside and I left the TB alone for someone else to pick up.
The container is covered again but I guess needs some attention to return it to its original glory. TFTC in a nice spot here.

Thanks for the cache. A little searching and i quickly found it. I left a little travel bug. Good cache
I saw this one published this morning, and decided to try and find it after work today. Picked up the geodog and made my way over to GZ. He bounded up the hill, whilst I took my time. Thankfully it was not a huge hike to the GZ. I made a quick scan and use of the clue and a process of elimination, I was able to locate an appropriate container for the cache. TFTC Man.Vs.Cache
I saw the publication of this one this morning, but had way too many things to do at the time, and when I got around to checking on it again 3 hours later, the FTF had gone. So it went on my list for this afternoon as I would be going to work about 500 metres from GZ Miss 9 and I took the short walk from the road, but my GPSr really didn't want to co-operate, so I resorted to the hint which was mighty handy. TFTC, Man.Vs.Cache.
