Out on a day drive around the back roads and country towns. Had a lovely walk through the Bushland here, saw some native flora. Thanks TeamThommo for placing and maintaining the cache for our enjoyment. # 2365

Out with Happy pants for the day in his local area, lots of places I never been. This was a lovely area to explore while grabbing this quick hideThanks TeamThommo for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.
Found with Happy Feet this afternoon while grabbing a few caches around town this afternoon. Managed a nice straight forward find after a short search. Thanks Team Thommo for the hide, beaut spot overlooking the water way not far from the gz also.
Staying at the local caravan park, this cache was a short walk along a track around the lake. At GZ the cache posed no problems.
Reperio 17:15Grabbed the youngest for a drive down to Victoria for 3 days, and were headed to Nathalia for the night. We parked roadside for this one and walked across the grass to GZ where the cache was soon located. No shouts of Fore today which was fantastic. Heading north on a warm summers day we picked up a few caches and this was one of them.
The gate was locked so we walked in, a great place to visit, even a golf course in the middle. Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Very multi. Nice cycle round lake, track a little soft after all the recent rain. Thanks.
Out and about on a nice sunny day on ANZAC day for this special day of remembrance.
It was also a special day for me, another day older... While out we wandered around Lockhart, down to Urana onto Culcairn then home to Wagga, Geocaching with my Chauffer (hubby) along the way.
Headed out to find this cache and found the water, had to check it out and to see if there were any fish in there. Then back to where the cache was, it was a quick find.
Found it quickly, signed the log, replaced it, then onto the next little adventure.
Thanks for this cache TeamThommo

Day 38 of our southern trip.
Move north. Heading towards Yass and Canberra for a few days. Just travelling today to wherever on the way. Overnighted at Deni.
Thought we may have been able to drive in here but no, the gate was locked. Managed to climb over the fence and then a short walk to the prize.

Today is the start of our journey back to QLD with geo friends, RoddyC, hatzofff and grannysmith1947. (All logs stamped 4 for QLD)
We looked like four intruders climbing over the locked gates but we knew it was okay due to the cache description and hatzofff made the find once at GZ.

Found on the way through from Canberra towards Deniliquin, ticking off some previously unfound LGAs. Really beautiful view from here, both gates were closed so had to take the walking trail across the golf course to reach GZ. Simple find upon arrival, and we hung around to take in the serenity before heading back to the car, via the aviary. Awesome little spot we never would have discovered otherwise so this gets a favourite, thanks for bringing us here!
Headed out on a 10-day trip to outback NSW with fitzy_1965 and albida33.
Day 10 saw us heading from Finley to home! What a wild 10 days it has been! In logs, we signed as MK, F65 & A33.
Quick find here today.

Out grabbing a daily with GLISS! and we thought we might tackle this one. A really lovely area of town to walk in, caching takes you to so many new places! Didn’t take us long before we had the cache in hand today. Thanks for the cache.
A nice wander near the golf course. Fantastic to see so much water in the area. TFTC
Yay for holidays. I have just over two weeks off and heading north to see family (COVID cancelled Easter trip) on Sunday but have today to go caching locally. Original plan was to head back to the Ovens Valley and get a few more down there, but I hope to cross into Queensland while away and that means no Victorian crossings for two weeks. Instead I headed west and north targeting caches up to Urana and Lockhart - start and end was some DNFs but did end up with 11 caches of three types.
Scooted is the road to Urana and aimed to get the three caches here. This was the first on the way and I parked at the locked gate, jumped over (love the reuse of Neighbourhood Watch signs) and strolled across the quiet golf course to GZ. Ignored the GPS and quickly spotted the camo which was well jammed in. Cache all in good condition and was quickly signed. Photograph of the fill creek taken (not many birds though) and then back to the car.

With a day off and an event in ‘The Rock’ plus pre-geocaching lead to a great day out. I also got a FTF on the cache ‘Break the Drive – Urana’ (GA12529). I started out with collecting the finds around Urana which included the most disgusting cache I have ever found (GC3BDFX). [xx(][xx(] I completely disapprove of that cache and hope to never see a hide like that ever again. [xx(][xx(] I visited a few different spots around and I enjoyed the ‘Leap year 2020 at The Rock’ event hosted by B&MG. A great BBQ and many geo-conversations were had by all. There were also many GCA moveable caches signed while we were there. TB visit on all caches. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found and for allowing them to bring joy to me and the rest of the caching community. TFTE and TFTC’s
On the way out of town, so it was time to hoover up the other cache in town. Nice walk and would love to see this place with water.
Thanks for the cache and the bogey

Quick stop off to enjoy a little bush walk, flies are friendly All quiet on the golf course. Tftc
Found by Mary and David at 10:15. Padlock and chain on both gates, but climbed over and a nice walk. Such a smokey atmosphere, though, and so dry. Loved the sculptures back in town at the horse trough. The horse, and animals and drovers all dressed up for Christmas. Now we know of the family connection, we understand why you have so many caches in the area. Wish we could say that the river and lake were full, but sadly we can't. A FP. Our thanks to TeamThommo.

Another beautiful day out and about with Catnap777. Great company. Generic log. Itenerary for the day. Albury/Wodonga, Urana via Corowa, Naranderra, Grong Grong, then home via the rock. Thanks to all cache owner for placement and maintenanceof Caches. If there were any issues with any of those caches, you would have been notified. Thanks again and cheers.
Completed the nearby cache and decided to walk around the lake to this one. We noticed the local yacht club were ready to ferry us across - we declined and decided to walk on water (well where it used to be!). Took us longer than we had anticipated but enjoyed all the same. Pity it is so dry - no wildflowers out that we could see. Thanks TeamThommo for another of your many great caches.
Quick find. I don't think the boat sees much action. The waterway was all dried up.
Such a nice spot, shame there was almost no water. JamesKomodo and I left some swaps in the cache. TFTC
At the gates at the entrance to the reserve were secured with a padlock and chain, we had to climb over the fence. Then it was a pleasant, short walk to GZ where accurate coordinates led to a quick find. It was a lovely day and it was very peaceful down by the river. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks TeamThommo for the cache.
This cache was a nice quick find once at Ground Zero and was our first of the day. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
Stayed overnight at the lovely caravan park, walked out to find this one, it's a real shame about the amount of water in the billabong. Spotted, signed log and replaced. Thanks to Bringley3683. On our way to Clear Water event. Shame we didn't have time for hit or 2.
TFTC,
Just watch out for wayward golf balls.
What a great spot to stop over.
Loved the trail walk out to the cache.
Visited trackables.

Umm’d & aargh’d over this one after parking at the aviary. 600+m walk away, in 30C temp. However, unlikely I’ll ever be back so got out and made the find. Interesting to see the golf course with the lake nearby.
TFTC. Cache in good nick though the logbook would benefit from a plastic baggie

Easy find during our three day stay in Urana to attend Lockhart’s Spirit of the Land festival. Great stay except for the very windy nights.
Overnight stay at the caravan perk on our way back north. Very pleasant walk around the lake to the cache, TFTC
Found at 4.30pm whilst staying in town for the night. The "greens" and "tees" of the golf course amused us. A lovely spot down by the creek. Lots of birdlife. TNLN Thanks K&M
Took a while to find we had 7 people looking anyway we found it nice place . Tsls tftc lc
A nice little morning wander to this one and a quick find. Not even any flying golf balls here today. Just a few ducks!

Found during an early morning ride from the caravan park with the geo-son. Foolishly left the track and crossed the grass near GZ and almost immediately had a cats-eye puncture the back wheel of the bike. That'll teach me! All good at GZ. Many thanks TeamThommo
With Fitzy_1965 we headed off towards the Murray River near Swan hill. Lots of driving with great river banks to be explored on four rivers along the way. Day 2. After a night by the Murrumbidgee we headed west via Lockhart, Deniliquin to Moulamien where we camped on the banks of the Edwards River. Looks like a bit of water has been here recently, but the cache was fine.
Thanks.

After camping down by the river at Oura last night, we headed across through Wagga and hit the caching trail. This was the next find for the day. Nice short walk in for a quick find at GZ. Signed the log, returned the cache, and headed off to the next one.
Thanks to all the COs for putting out their caches !

We have commenced our road trip heading south to attend the Alexandra Mega Event in Victoria, but decided to take our time and find a few caches along the way.
We had no difficulty in locating the cache and with our name added to the logbook, we continued on our way

Wasn't quite sure whether or not to have a go at this one as the gate was locked when i arrived. But nothing ventured nothing gained and had a bit of a walk just as the sun was setting but found this one with no trouble. That's one hard dry golf course! Tftc
Catching up with some late logs.
After having a great time in Wagga in Canberra with The Drovers we were now heading to Swan Hill for the 6 months to The Alexandra Event picking up a few caches along the way.
We pulled up here and have to agree with geogranni that this quite a nice area, although we were obviously here at the wrong time of the year as we didn't see any pelicans or wildflowers. All we saw was a mudlark and a crow. After a brief walk we also spotted a cache, the log book of which now contains our name.
Thanks for showing us this location Team Thommo, we never know where we are going to find one of your caches.

Then the shoes and socks came off as its flooded at GZ .
But got it and logged ,

The gate was locked and I couldn't see a second gate, so over it I went and walked to GZ, which wasn't far away. It was a swamp around GZ and the cache and cover were covered in large ants bunching together to escape the water. I had trouble getting to the cache without being nipped, but eventually with the aid of a stick managed.
It was very pretty here with high water level. A favourite for bringing me here. TFTC TeamThommo.

Decided I'd better find one cache on my maintenance trip today - managed to get to this without getting feet too wet. Nice reserve, but the golf course has a few water hazards! TFTC
Found at 1:41 PM GAFF1.
We stopped out side the main locked gate and decided to have lunch here, so Cat prepared it while I headed off to find the cache. Lots of water lying about which made it tricky to get to GZ without stepping in the water. Once again there was absolutely no one about.
Thanks TeamThommo.

After having a cuppa at the local swimming hole (great facilities if people want to stop), we headed out to this one. A bit different to the golf course we're used to, but its great to see the park set out with health and well-being in mind. A quick find ensued at GZ. Thanks for the tour of Urana, we enjoyed our short stay.

This is turning into a TeamThommo morning of caching! An excellent place to rest and revive and munch on our vegemite and cheese sandwiches whilst observing the birdlife above us. Well, it was restful until a motor boat with biscuit behind zoomed around the bend towards us! Went for a short wander and soon discovered the nearby cache. SL at 12.25pm Took: tortoise Left: marble. We looked longingly at the two catamarans pulled up onto the shore, but time did not permit a sail today. Too many more caches to find on our way back to Victoria. #3400 TFTC TeamThommo and thanks to J.W. Smith for making this lovely reserve open to all - it even has a golf course!
Found during our Sydney to Tasmania and back camping trip. Great little town to visit. Quiet, but interesting. TFTC. SL and left a Sydney monorail token which will be a collectors item (one day!!)
I'd spent the weekend at Lockhart for the Spirit of the Land festival. Stopped here for a latish lunch and parked close to GZ made the find then enjoyed my meal beside the water which seemed fairly high. A very pleasant spot to rest and revive TFTC TeamThommo
I was in Urana only a couple of days prior, but at the time I only had time for the one other cache in town before having to move on to make a deadline. Today, with no deadline, I enjoyed the ability to meander across the country, grabbing whatever caches I so choose.
I parked the car nice and close and enjoyed a walk through some familiar bushland. I saw one snake, a brown, but it left me alone and I left it alone. Nice place by the water and kinda wished I had brought the kayak along for the day.
Thanks TeamThommo, another lovely spot for a geocache.

This was a surprising little spot to visit this morning
As I strolled in from the nearest gate, it was obvious that there once was (or is) a golf course here
It was not long before I reached the lakeside.
The lakeside was a lot closer to GZ at the moment, thanks to the ample rainfall recently
Somewhere near the ninth tee, I found the cache safe and sound amongst the serenity
It would not be so serene here on a sunny, summer, Sunday though [:o]
Noisy ski-boat muggles infest the lake then

After the rain last night we didn't know what to expect with driving on the dirt roads about the district and minimising our impact on those roads. Every thing was fine and got to SL Tnx TeamThommo
