Unfortunately, I cannot see any information that indicates that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement. Therefore as advised previously, the cache is being de-listed (Archived) to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

The [**Geocache Maintenance guideline**](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains what needs to happen with a Disable cache.

Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center article [**here**](http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70).

If you wish to contact me please send an email via my profile - [**Bunjil**,](https://coord.info/PR9GZ0K) and quote the cache name and GC number.

### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

----------

This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention. The cache owner would have received an automated email from Geocaching HQ recently which explained what they need to do.

Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)

The cache is being temporarily disabled so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?

You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:

- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.

- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.

- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.

Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Based on a number of previous logs, perhaps it's time for the CO to make another visit to this cache and make a check please - last find back in April 2017!

What do you do on 37 degree day?
Go T5 adventure caching, of course. Jacko, buhfuhguh and I started off with some tree climbs and then headed to the waters to cool down a little.
So we ended up on St Kilda beach, joining hundreds of others seeking some respite from the heat.
Our minds were on more than just sitting on the beach though - our smilies were to be had finding tupperware in strange locations.
We crawled and contorted in all those spaces for about 15 minutes, but no smilie for us here today.
Thanks anyway, skakids.

13-Dec-17
A long search with Pacman under the peir, waist deep in water, crawling all under.

A dnf today for us.

09-Nov-17
Two of us searched here for quite a long time, not minding the wet at all, just minding not being able to find it. Not sure its here. Performed CITO in the area to make us feel good even if we didn't find it.
Think CO should check on it. Sad disappointments from Canada.

09-Sep-17
Today the tide was up and it was too. Deep for us to go under. How ever we did get to explore the rocks.

Nice spot, however, it seems that the cache is gone after winter time Wink Best, Colonel_Corleone

Tonight a good friend and I wanted to catch up before they went back to Canberra to study, so we decided to come up to St Kilda beach to enjoy the sunset and hopefully find this cache. I wasn't exactly as prepared for this as I should have been, but that didn't bother me as I was determined to find it anyway.

Upon arrival it became clear that the water was higher than I was anticipating, thus meaning I was gonna have some pretty wet shorts when I got back in the car. Oh well!

After making my way over, I soon found the cache with little sunlight remaining. A truly beautiful night to be out and about (check photos). Another favourite point to a cache in this series, just because I absolutely love finding them. Like, a lot.

Thanks again skakids for a fantastic cache!

16-Mar-16
Beautiful day for a paddle Smile Saw lots of little fish and some slightly bigger ones, even one out of water!! The water was surprisingly warm and the cache was soon in hand. Nicely hidden of course. TFTC

A lovely afternoon crawling around on the beach with 88andy88, n0w0rries & Team Smokey-Bear.
A friendly penguin brought a few onlookers right to where we were hiding underneath. I think he was checking us out. Lol.
Thanks for an ace series, skakids! Big Grin

28-Feb-16
This was a bit of fun Temperature mild to cool muggle penguins acted as distraction for us to retrieve the cache after we retrieved it we noticed what looked to be another cacher so we stealthily strolled back along the boardwalk in cache direction and pretended to be annoying Muggles that wouldn't go away , after a few minutes we could help ourselves and yell out "You know you have to go in there"
He looked up surprised and somewhat embarrassed so he took his shoes off and achieved his first Smiley in Melbourne

Out on the hunt for 8 caches today - With Team Smokey-Bear, 88andy88 & OzHockeyChick.

Out for a stroll on the pier, kite surfers nearby enjoying the beaut day and fresh sea breeze.
A penguin darting back and forth getting her lunch.
Who would think that tomorrow is the last day of the longest summer in four years!

Ahh wet! Spotted another cacher, trying not to look obvious, but we were onto him. Wink G'day mate.
Find #1,796 on the way to 1,800 at the "Leap into 2016 - be the first in Australia !" Event.
Not being one for doing things by the numbers, this now completes the series for us.
Thanky you for all the fun caches we found along the way skakids!

Second attempt at this cache. This time came more prepared and brought a geofriend. We spent 45 minutes thinking and looking. Finally I spotted something which looked a bit out of place. Another great cache by Skakids, Thankyou!

12-Sep-15
clever hide, another great skakids cache

12-Sep-15
It was a fantastic warm evening with the sun starting to go down. Lots of people were going back and forth along the pier. It was interesting hearing snippets of conversations as people went past. Once my feet were used to the cold water I was able to focus on finding the cache. Very clever, it was where I nearly didn't bother to look. Thanks for another cache skakids.

22-Aug-15
It was as perfect an August day as I could imagine to find this. I took off my shoes and rolled up my pants and waded around at the GZ for quite some time but couldn't turn up the cache. Too bad, because I love hides like this.

Find #803

Don't worry about the high tide, they said. Nowhere obvious to conceal this one, they said.

A cache needed for the day and this one just a small diversion on my bike ride home from work. A quick check on the tides and with my impeccable sense of timing I see that I'll hit the high tide so am due to get wet on another crawlspace cache. A pleasant autumn afternoon so I wasn't going to let that stop me. Parked my bike nearby and headed along the breakwater monitoring the water depth. Didn't look too bad so I headed in at the appropriate spot. I couldn't see too many spots to conceal a cache but yet I couldn't see it. Some more cunning skakids work but I managed to get there in the end. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited a couple of TBs. Got it back in place without dropping it in the drink. Thanks for another great cache in this area skakids.

Good hide, like having to do something different to find it

Thunderbird are go!!!

Scott received the message straight away.
Lady Penelope was out dining, celebrating the Valentine with Jeff Tracey.
You see Brains had located some more treasure and it would require some fancy water resources to locate.
An immediate reconnaissance was made but between the tsunami crashing nearby and the risks to nearby locals, the salvage would be delayed.
After several hours, with calmer oceans and bystanders now cleared from the area Vigil and Dick using their intergalactic transponders struggled until finally Lady Penelope sighted the target and moved in.
There had been no needs to panic in the reckless conditions hours earlier.
Success.

Anyway.
Well done Brains.
Achiement medal awarded for testing The Thunderbirds.
