Logs
Visiting this beautiful area from Maitland for a few days, a quick find here on my 2nd last day before heading back south. TFTC
We are on a one week holiday road trip from Sydney to Brisbane to Sydney, with pre-booked accommodation at the Big4 NRMA Treasure Island Holiday Resort at Gold Coast and then at the Big4 NRMA Darlington Beach Holiday Resort at Arrawarra (Coffs Harbour), with some other as yet undetermined overnight stops along the M1 route there & back. Will be attempting to log a broad selection of cache types whilst in Queensland (at least one each of Trad, Multi, Mystery, Letterbox, Earth, Wherigo, Virtual, & AdLab), including a visit to Queenslands oldest geocache GC8E - Queens land. Photos will be uploaded to logs after our return to home base.Today (day we are at the end of our holiday and heading home. Grabbed a few more South West Rocks caches and a five stage Adventure Lab, but no time to collect it's associated AL Bonus cache (next time), before departing the town. Stopped for a cache near Clybucca before hitting the M1 Pacific Motorway southward, then a Motorway Rest Area cache, and then a few roadside caches in Swansea before re-entering the M1 Pacific Motorway to home. This was the 7th of 15 finds for the day (day , and 115th find of the holiday. After finding "Matty's Flat Revamped" we were going to call it quits and head for the Motorway, but couldn't resist just one more cache, so here we are at this one. Drove in along the track from New Entrance Road, soon arriving at final GZ and making a nice quick find. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC bobbiesgirl.Find #6750
Find the nearest gas stations to the nearest town and then you should have a gas meter restaurant in your city that sells the same stuff as you can find a good place for what they offer for the price and then you can go from the gas to a good place for gas to a better price.
This is a cute little cache. Cover yourself in aerogard before you go, mozzies everywhere
This log is a combination of 4 days worth in our visit to South West Rocks. We must say, one of the best area of caches that we have done in a long time. All caches were there and well maintained. When we had problems the CO was prompt to respond and push us in the right direction. Around SWR we were using our bikes and there were areas where it was hard going pushing the bikes through the soft sand to the GZ, but well worth it when we arrived and took in the scenery. We may not get them all done this time around with one day to go, but we will be back to enjoy this area again in the not too distant future.
Thanks bobbiesgirl for the caches.

Total Cache Finds 14487,
Found it with Justontime. New sheet of paper has been added but that is getting damp also. TFTC bobbiesgirl.
Took the drive in as it was too wet to walk but a cruiser widened the track a bit. Not long to find the "creatcher "and continue on my way. Thanks bobbiesgirl for the cache
Well we found this track, and reminiscent of another local cacher thought we’ll drive to this. Maybe should of walked in but anyway managed to get out around trees and the edge and went on our hunt. Spotted the hide quickly when we got to the lower level. TFTC.
The paper was wet so couldn’t sign. We left some other treasures next to the creature. Hint…not far off the track.
Another "creature" has wandered in from the Black Lagoon, cache is good to go again.
Looks like somebody wanted the "creature" more than me so in it's place I found three painted rocks, a tiny green frog and a small rubber snake! Will replace as soon as I can catch another creature.
Great little spot not too difficult for our grandsons so great encouragement. Thankyou. Croozatorium.
First find for the day, it was definitely better approached in the day than the night as we thought we could do yesterday. I was really interested to see how the mangroves look here compared to the ones I know.
A weekend in SWR with a group of Sydney/Blue Mtns cachers.
This was our first one to start the day. Found quickly by following the road between the mangroves. TFTC

Great little find the creature scared me and my friends. Good condition. Nice little find, found a blue Pokémon ball thing. Thanks Bob.
A nice walk in to find this one, a few treasures were there waiting for us along with a couple of kangaroos!
Somehow got on the wrong side of the lagoon...wet shoes but fun find! Loved the 'creature'
Great trail and adventure with three kids. The creature even gave dad a little jump scare!
This is the first cache to genuinely make me jump.
For some reason the ‘creature’ caught me off guard!

Simple and easy cache,
Quite enjoyable to see my friend (Ronnie) get jump scared by the creature in the lagoon.

Had to abandon looking after just a few minutes due to a ridiculous amount of mosquitoes! I liked the track though my mum didn’t like the vibe. Thanks though!
Found with nissan 65. Mozzie galore found the creature wandering along the roadway. Log signed and returned to exact co ordinates Thankyou for the cache
Dan can still remember watching that film when he was about 10 y.o. A straightforward walk to this cache. Good coords, as usual, and a quick find. Nice camo. TFTC bobbiesgirl
TFTC,
After doing 38 in the Slim Dusty series yesterday (27 to go), it was time to visit South West Rocks today to catch up with cachers and relatives.
Quick find here by wazza, well presented cammo.

Out and about caching today around SWR and district. Stopped by to find this cache. Signed the log. TFTC Bobbies Girl
Spending a few days around the SWR and Kempsey area and we had some incredible weather for our caching adventures. Busy area with campers and holiday makers returning to the area. Thanks to the COs, especially bobbiesgirl, for the assortment of cache types in and around town.
Mrs Grundies realised this one would give us the coords for the puzzle cache so off we went. Drove straight in to and passed GZ, executed a multi point turn at the end of the causeway and returned to GZ to wait while GPS signal settled to make the find. Then back to the road to solve the puzzle only to realise we had to retrace our tracks for the next. TFTC
Removed some of the debris surrounding the creature, making him a bit more accessible. Intend to replace him when I can find another suitable camo, he is looking rather sad. Otherwise, he is still in the correct place, log sheet is dry with plenty of room to write on.
Found whilst exploring south west rocks were here for a few days camping. Found the creature, might be a bit more camo around the hide but still easily reached. Tftc.
Checked today, creature a little worse for wear but otherwise OK, changed log sheets.
Ok well thank you for that heart starter, I have ben reading the description of these couple of caches, have googled the creature and could find nothing, now I know why. Great cache fav point from me for the two. TFTC
The track here was in very good condition and we enjoyed the walk out to the end and back. At GZ I knew the container would be shocking, but I still jumped when I first saw it. We logged our find then walked on up the track. Thanks bobbiesgirl, it was definitely worth walking out here.
hatzofff and I are in Kempsey for a few days caching with Snickersallan. We stopped by to check out your cache .
Cute creature. All in good order.
Log signed and cache replaced as found at 4:22 pm on 18 March 2019. TFTC, bobbiesgirl.

Had a bit of fun on this cache and scared geo mum. Cache was quickly in hand. TFTC
Went on a big adventure and later found there was a path. The cache was well hidden and scared us but not me. It was really fun and very suprising.
I took the stroll to the black lagoon today [:o]
And what I found left me unimpressed
The creature was a lot smaller than I remember
With the cache regurgitated,
I signed the logbook

Found in the company of Key_Tat, Viper_101, PPRASS and Nurse Hayley.... Well that was a narrow road... after a small search on the wrong side of the road, the GPS sorted itself out and the 'Creature' was soon discovered... signed the log and moved on to part 2. TFTC.
