I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.

Hi Survey Base

This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. Day 5 of GeoFoxy's visit to Christchurch before her cruise starts so off we went out this way today. Left a little later than we should have and should have had lunch first. Very hot day and we sweltered even in the car with ac on. A few on the way home as GeoFoxy feeling the jet-lag now.

Grabbed this one as a quick grab on the way out of town. TFTC

Early morning walk to here with the dog. So much bird song. Dogs not permitted further, will have to find another cache. Tftc

Last one for the day and tje clouds opened. Have been very lucky with the weather given the expected forecast. Now home to light the fire. Thanks for the hide. I've now cleared all the trads and multis within the belts.

I have been out in Rangiora this afternoon $ decided to add a little caching to the mix. Bleak, cold but no longer raining, day.

I had hoped to go for a reasonable walk from where I had parked my car but I soon encountered a barrier which meant I had to turn back. If there were any earlier signs to alert track users to this, I missed them. On my return, I discovered this cache wasn't too far away so I decided to give it a go and I found the treasure after a short search.

Took me a while. In the end, had to look at the hint. Then found it.

Its Thursday - day two - Rangiora - Lyttleton today. K2R cycle is in the bag. So lets go exploring in Toby and see where the Geotrail takes for the rest of the day.

Its Waitangi Day - day one of a five day weekend exploring the amazing Canterbury, with The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby, Jack and Jill. Two days Rangiora, a day in Lyttleton and 2 days in Banks Peninsula. I got call from The Seagnoid, hes taking a long weekend. Lets go to the West Coast! Lets Go!! but maybe not the West Coast - rain on the way. So lets go to Canterbury. We leave for Christchurch Tuesday evening after picking up The Seagnoid after work. We make camp for the night at Amberly. Today its off to Rangiora for a cycle trip.

What a great park!

Down to Christchurch with Taybeedragon, Zara and Toby for a five day weekend starting Waitangi Day (which this year fell on a Wednesday. I reckon half the country would have been taking 5 day weekends!). Three days in Rangiora. We did two cycle trails there - having two vehicles makes it so easy. One of those cycle trails was fifty caches. Fifty caches in one day on a bicycle! Then a couple of days exploring the back roads around Akaroa. Darn close to two hundred caches in all. Dropped off a lot of path tags along the way, especially if the cache was nice and dry.

Lovely location and a very pleasant walk, even on an otherwise hot day. We enjoyed the wildlife and reading about the history of the area, thanks for bringing us here.

I was in town for a WoF so had a bit of time to kill. What to do?
This was the fourth (and last) find on my walk to kill time. Certainly not the last for the day though, I just had the car back for the rest.

Perfect autumn day for a walk. Easy find.

On a work trip to Christchurch for a couple of days. Today I had some spare time to go off and find some caches. And to reveal some Hidden Creatures. Nicely hidden cache. Found after a short search. TFTC, Biggles.

Quick find once I was at the right kowhai! I am glad I can find them now even when they are not flowering TFTC!!

What an idyllic spot. We've just had our lunch but I know where I'll come to eat it another time. Quite a few sitting in their cars doing just that. More than one kowhai to check here and it was found while I was doing just that. TFTC # 12,232

There seemed to be a few trees that matched the title and quite a bit of searching was needed but suddenly, there was the cache. Thanks!
