Tried to replace this over Easter and no decent spots close that will stay muggle free. Will free this area up.
Hi Survey BaseThis geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived. Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.RegardsTheCoddiwompler
The container is here but no log. We didn't have a replacement on our walk today so needs maintenance.
Gonna take the find. This was the only thing remotely near it. There was a hole drilled in it that might fit, but nothing else... Cheers
Nice find. Log book is essentially destroyed. Added a replacement log (not waterproof paper) for the meantime! TFTC!
Yay! First one I found without help from others
Was all soggy tho and I couldn't sign sorry

Nice walk around the wetlands. Cool but at least not raining. Picked up penguin TB. Lovely.
I was looking at the challenge GC2FC8R, and saw that I was actually really close to finishing it this month... how convenient. I then looked around and saw that this was suitable to help complete it.
A quick walk around here, on a pretty nice day. No issues making the find! Thanks MadCat9. #2954

Found on the track as per the hint after completing the mystery with Campmotherandken TFTC
When our mechanic closed his business (for family reasons) & took a job in Rangiora. This means that when I bring the car out for a WoF or service I need to do *something* to fill in my day. I've run out of Rangiora caches within walking distance, but they have loan cars! Today I travelled in all directions but South, finding 34 caches (& *not* finding 3). I'll apologise now for the cut & paste logs, but I'll try to add a bit about each cache here:
I've been here before, doing Bald Ed's multi. Between the two visits I've walked all the loops, today was more "in & out".
The find was easy, as expected. Then I was off to my next hunt.

Took me a while. Don't know how i missed it. The GPS keeps moving around maybe.
Nice easy find on a cloudy cool day. There is a way past the works going on here at the moment so I gave it a go. What a lovely area and would be even better on a sunny day. TFTH
Just a heads up, part of this walkway is blocked off for another 2 months, enter via Cotters Lane only until then. I'll be back on a less hot day and walk in.
Got Jill out to get us around this park - twice. Enjoyed this park and all the info boards to keep me extra busy. Quick find here. Cheers. Now onwards to collect more info for the multi..
Its Thursday - day two - Rangiora - Lyttleton today. K2R cycle is in the bag. So lets go exploring in Toby and see where the Geotrail takes for the rest of the day.
Its Waitangi Day - day one of a five day weekend exploring the amazing Canterbury, with The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby, Jack and Jill. Two days Rangiora, a day in Lyttleton and 2 days in Banks Peninsula. I got call from The Seagnoid, hes taking a long weekend. Lets go to the West Coast! Lets Go!! but maybe not the West Coast - rain on the way. So lets go to Canterbury. We leave for Christchurch Tuesday evening after picking up The Seagnoid after work. We make camp for the night at Amberly. Today its off to Rangiora for a cycle trip.

We were going to walk but then I realised we had the bikes on the back. This is an awesome park - gets a favourite.
Down to Christchurch with Taybeedragon, Zara and Toby for a five day weekend starting Waitangi Day (which this year fell on a Wednesday. I reckon half the country would have been taking 5 day weekends!). Three days in Rangiora. We did two cycle trails there - having two vehicles makes it so easy. One of those cycle trails was fifty caches. Fifty caches in one day on a bicycle! Then a couple of days exploring the back roads around Akaroa. Darn close to two hundred caches in all. Dropped off a lot of path tags along the way, especially if the cache was nice and dry.

Lovely location and a very pleasant walk, even on an otherwise hot day. We enjoyed the wildlife and reading about the history of the area, thanks for bringing us here.
StreetWalker and I needed some finds to day to increase our find count for 11th August, so we combined a visit to family in Rangiora with some caching in the area.
This cache has been my last unfound Rangiora cache for a while now and the weather was ideal for the loop walk. I'm pretty sure we haven't been here (apart from the car park to find another of the CO's caches) since pre earthquake, so there have been a few changes - like the large subdivision one the boundary.
Enjoyed the walk and the environs, thanks MadCat.

#16004. We needed a few finds today to bring up the numbers for August 11. We were visiting Rangiora, and this was the only unfound Rangiora cache left. We;d visited the area before, but hadn't walked as far as GZ; interesting to explore more of it. Easy find. TFTC.
Nice quick find just after a muggle with a dog overtook me! I am sure there is a very clear sign saying no dogs?? TFTC!!
This was such a lovely reserve that we decided to continue on from the kowhai round to here and collect the numbers for the puzzle while we were at it. Unfortunately we weren't as successful with finding that cache as we were with this one. TFTC # 12,233
Sick of looking for urban park and grabs we came out for a nice walk around these ponds.
Thanks for bringing us out here. Most enjoyable.
A quick find at GZ.

Bloody hot today, yet I still decided to go for a walk... This cache has been on my "too lazy" list for far too long, so I am glad to finally tick it off. I was surprised to see how long ago the previous find was... despite that I found it without any trouble in the first place I looked, safe and sound. I only spotted one other person while out walking around the lakes today, and a family having a picnic back at the carpark, certainly a great day for it. TFTC (3406)
Have walked around this reserve a couple of times now...always for caches. Cache found easily this time which is not normal for us the other times.
Thanks for all the toys ... It was a real treat for my daughter to find something inside one! We've taken the baby rhino to place at our next one
On a family outing to have a walk at Northbrook Waters to celebrate Dad's birthday. TNLN SL TFTC!
Enjoying a nice walk around this reserve. The cache was a quick find. Left TB. TFTC.
Before visiting the mega event 2015 i had a grand day out.
Fair weather, ... and a few nice caches.

Today was one of 5 remaining days when I need to find at least 2 caches to be able to fill my calendar in 4 times over by early Nov (It's getting close!! )
So picked doing this walk. With three caches, (one I'd already found) it would help me get closer to the next aim of 5 times over!! (Or maybe 6?? Nah... )
A rather lovely stroll. All the cache locations were obvious and easily found, and me and the hubby had a great wonder on the last evening of such 'early' light for the year! Stunning!
Consec caching day #1056

So on after school mission stop her all the way out there and crap must have dropped the pen. At least I got the last clue got another one. Miss piggy has now been dropped off. Her kermie is in the states with a mission to avoid her so perhaps on this Location she may find another true love. I love this area bring the kids round on thier bikes next time.
It was good that we had our bicycles, this made caching so much faster. The cache was a quick find, it is a wee bit damp, but the two plastic bags ensure that the logbook is dry. TFTC
Found it on 2nd circuit . Will teach me for not zooming out far enough on a cache search . Beautiful day but snowing in port hills and chilly enough wind for it . Tftc
Nice day to be out caching, but had to be easy to get too. My legs are a tad sore after power walking the half marathon yesterday. Who new you used all those muscles. Nice stroll round the lake so warm. Never knew this even existed stopped for a spot of lunch after finding a few caches. Cheers for the nice easy walk.
Out and about with my caching buddy finding some caches in Rangiora.
What a neat reserve. This was the last of our caching pal's series in this reserve. Next stop lunch.

Quick find. Water looks good with all the ducks hiding during duck shooting season. Tftc
Had been here before for Bald Eds cache before we moved out here. On a family walk around the wetland and this was the second to be found was quickly retrieved and signed before moving further for morning tea. Thanks for bringing us back here.
All quiet at GZ. Almost a walk and grab!
Found on a sunny afternoon's drive around Rangiora.
Thanks for the hide.

6699. With both of us free today and a fine weather forecast, we decided to take the bikes for a ride out to Rangiora. We did the first half of the FFT bike trail, a new track for us, before going for lunch at the nice coffee shop in town. After lunch we decided to spend the afternoon doing caches around the town and complete the bike trail another day. This meant we found eleven caches in the morning and eleven caches in the afternoon. A very pleasant day overall. This was the seventeenth cache of the day and a nice easy find after a pleasant walk. We have been to this lovely area several times geocaching. Thanks for the cache. Rodney and Iris.
