We will be leaving very soon to attend the Red Centre Experience Event being held in Alice Springs and have decided we would try to make that event a milestone ... the only problem is we are a few hundred caches short This was the perfect excuse for a quick road trip through Nanango/Murgon/Kingaroy The weather was a little rainy, but surprisingly we remained relatively dry during the day with the worst of the rain occurring while we camped overnight [^]
We managed to locate this cache easily and with our name added to the log book, we continued on our journey.
Thank you Robbie4121 for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

No response from the owner within the last 28 Days and as per my original note this cache has been archived. If you wish to replace it please submit a new cache via [this link](https://www.geocaching.com/play/hide).
We decided to head off for a couple of days in the caravan and do some caching while our non geocaching friends were red clawing on the Bjelke Peterson Dam. We loved the rural countryside we encountered and while we were on our rounds we did maintenance as we went given that we were there at gz and sometimes it is not so easy for the owner to attend. 26 31.905 and 151 50.935. Thanks to Robbie4121 for placing this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the location.
This cache is being disabled because i have not had the time to fix or check the cache regularly. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Sadly, DNF on 4th December 2015. The man with his very aggressive whipper snipper had been all over GZ and beyond. Took some amazing photos of the spiders in the potential but empty hiding holes at GZ.
Nice Spot! Very cool views, coordinates weren't that accurate but a very inventive spot!

[font=Comic Sans MS]Hi there Robbie4121. We found your cache "Apex Park Lookout" at 11:33:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 11305.
[Blue]
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area today. We usually start the day off by nominating a cache some distance away from our caravan park and then take a route mainly determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS. Today we started with a close cache and worked our way towards Kingaroy before stocking up with essential supplies.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache EXACTLY where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.[font=Verdana]

Didn't think this was the cache initially! Great hide again. Shame the trees at this lookout need trimmed to stop blocking the view. TFTC
Geo-hubby headed out to Nanango / Kingaroy area for a two day caching run,
with our good friend Konie.
A great time was had, finding a good variety of hides and caches.
Many thanks to all the CO's for the effort you have put into your caches,
for us and others to find.

Spending a few days up in the Kingaroy and Nanango districts and places closeby from my place in Brisbane. Due to the number of caches found, I have decided to do a generic log. To all the CO's, a big thank you for bringing us to your area and the many varied caches we found. Thank you for bringing us along the country road. TFTC
Having another annual caching trip to Nanango and Kingaroy with Richmond Lad. Last year we thought we had found most of them but some wonderful COs keep putting out more to entice us back to this lovely region of Queensland. We have driven along quiet , gum tree lined country roads, spotted some peaceful waterways and are becoming experts at stumps!!! Thank you to all the COs who have caches in this area - you are all doing a wonderful job creating, placing and maintaining your hides.

Todays trip we moved camp & have set up at Kingaroy. All the caches we found had great co-ords & hints. The regular & large containers were packed full of swaps.
I remember being here some years ago I think it was BC (before caching)
Thanks for placing this cache Robbie4121

After attending the Mega we spend a couple of days at our aunties place at Kingaroy and of course cache while we are here the caches here took us to places we have never seen here although we have visited Kingaroy a few times before, weather was up and down but being from SA it was warm to us lol, while Mrs 3LG was busy taking some great shots Mr3LG found the cache pretty quickly. TFTC
7/4/15 one the search for some plaques and stopped at the lookout for the views (of a cache). A great view here and a quick find. TFTC
This was our first find EVER! So awesome. Took us a little while but nice to get the first one out the way
Out with a vengeance today with a circular drive in mind, Murgon to Kingaroy and back. Downloaded as many as I could on the route chosen to see just how many I could log in one day.
Found a total of 20 out of 21 caches - my all time record.
Apex Park Lookout was found quite quickly, did not get to check out the view, it started to rain
Thanks for the cache robbie4121

Found on a visit from Perth, WA. Took a bit of searching but eventually located. Thanks for the cache Robbie4121.
An easy find this morning, now that the council has slashed the long grass around the lookout. I tried last week, but the recent spate of Brown Snake bites in the South Burnett has left me a little bit "fang-shy" (if that's even a word ???). So driving past this morning after finding Hillview Gorge, it was nice to see that the grass had been cut and we could make a search. Had the container in hand and the log signed very quickly. TFTC Robbie4121. Cheers from Bindair Dundat.
Out and about with Robbie4121, GrannySmith1947 and GeoMum. This was cache number 3 for the day. Left home at about 12pm and finished at 7pm. Took Nothing left Nothing. TFTC Robbie4121
After a maintenance run this last weekend (10/05), we realised that we hadn't logged some of the new caches in town.
Last visit was for my birthday in February.
The day we arrived there were two nice shiny mountain bikes pared across the park but no body to be seen anywhere, we climbed the ramp but no view as the trees have blocked it out. Made the find and left without seeing the bike riders. TFTC

Driving home from Bundaberg after a long weekend away. I had to maintain one of my recent hides in the area so trying to avoid double driving. Very quick find. Good Co Ordinates. This is the 4th hide in this park since 2007. I hope this one lasts. Long grass and no muggles. TFTC Robbie4121
