Austria is hunting for caches in Australia. Thank you for placing and maintaining these caches. I had a lot of fun, especially this one which was designed with great care
Finished another long trip around Australia. The 6th. Next up to Townsville to grab the Palm Island LGA. Only 2 LGAs to complete Australia.Firstly heading back south for some Canberra time.TFTC. Started the day at Dululu and then headed to Westwood for an Earth cache. Back to Rockhampton and then onwards to Gladstone. Finally out to 1770 for the EC and Ad Lab.Nice quick find. Field puzzle is a bit broken. All back together now.
Cache came out looking a little worse for wear, was able to get in too easily. Have gentle put all the bits back and seems to be all good now. After staying in Dululu overnight, we discussed options on directions, always so many choices, but the one was made to head towards Rockhampton via an earthcache and down the Bruce. Other options had more appeal, but left for a time when there was more of it. Listening to the radio that the section of road between Rockhampton and Gladstone was the most notorious for fatalities as we drove had us revaluation our option. Not from the report so much, but from the many near misses we saw while on it. Gladstone was a new discovery for me, having never visited. Big ships and tugboats, but a lovely day exporing about through caching.1770, with a name like that was a destination. Arriving very late afternoon with just enough light to see the pretty area, very popular and busy, but can see why. Black sands on the beach, a sunset and an AL to show us around. A short but nice visit then off till a cache stop found a good site to set ip camp overnight on the way to Bundaberg. Thanks for your cache that guided us about.
A very cool cache and a pretty part of the coast. Thanks for arranging and fav point alloc
Out caching with KabbellaQld quick find also the mozzies said the same about us.tftc
Clever themed container, really well thought out. Unfortunately for us the mozzies took the theme on board and swarmed ferociously. Wear insect repellent or long sleeves, we didn't and regretted it. Signed KATO (KabbellaQld and ToucanKB). Thanks for highlighting this location, it was good to revisit it. Tftc.
Took us a while to find it as gps was all over the show on a cloudy day. Nice cache with some thought into the hide
Such a chilled location!I love the way you think Tui!Thanks for the great cache
Nice one. Took a bit of walking around trying to avoid bushwhacking but needn't have bothered.Signed as The RoosTftc
Found during a lunch picnic arranged specially for this cache. Excellent container and a good little hide. Favourite for me
Now on our last day of leave and heading back to Mackay with alphag_25. Found the nearby virtual and had to call in here to avenge the DNF as a result of flying fox breeding season last time we were here. Great container. TFTC
Returned again now no Flying Fix fences up. Nicely crafted puzzle and cache container. Tftc sl FPOn a caching holiday from Mackay. In the search of old caches and ones to fill DT grid spaces. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment with mackay_geocaching. Have mostly had clear sunny days on our trip.
Our NEW ZEALAND - TASMANIA - AUSTRALIA JOURNEY takes us to beautiful places and provides us with an incredible number of wonderful moments and experiences.Occasionally we also visit a few GeoCaches along the way. After checking in for Heron Island... a quick look round here. A bit of thinking..., the second idea was the right one and we were able to add our names to the guest list.... Then it was time for a delicious cappuccino... at Caf Spinnaker....Thank you for placing, maintaining and caring snapfish2 from SwitzerlandPS: Translated with the Deepl app
OMG the mozzie are horrendous. I was determined to get it with all the favourite points. I figured out the clue smile I was waiting for a flight and happy to sneak this one in before the weekends festivities. TFTC it was a good one

I slept until the lunch, wash my cloths and than I went to see Gladstone. A relatively nice port town with many beautiful parks, where the locals spent a sunny Saturday picnic. I spent a pleasant afternoon hunting for caches and I didn't find just one where a lady was sitting on it and reading. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Czech republic. Nice cache, send a FP but too many mosquitos there !
Our first cache in Gladstone today with Dora the Explorer! The cache was found easily enough but opening the container at GZ with the savage mosquitoes was another thing. We ended up unlocking the container in the car park where there were less mosquitoes. Log was signed and everything returned as found.TFTC.A favourite point has been given.
Thanks Tui64 for placing and maintaining this awesome cache. Kids love it. Took travel bug.RVCL.
Out and about with the kids while in town visiting family. There were so many favourite points on this cache we had to head out for a look. We battles the mozzies and soon had the cache in hand. Thankfully the kids got a couple of the clues and we got it open and signed the log. A great cache and worth a favourite from us! TFTC!
We made a little deviation on our way to Gladstone to visit marina. We found several caches. The place is nice. Thank you for the cache.

Such a beautiful area and a novel cache. Very clever. TFTC. Dropped a trackable. Enjoy your journey.
Stopped for a look at the harbour and noticed a cache nearby.
Not just any cache but a special handmade masterpiece.

Fun to find. Got it to open without any problems but couldn't find anything to write on.
Replaced and covered.

Neat little puzzle container that earns a favourite from us.
Beautiful spot alongside the water.
Staying in Gladstone after spending a couple of days on Curtis Island with the brumbies, curlews and kangaroos - as part of our 'north for warmer weather' trip (North East Vic to Central Qld).
Thanks to all COs who have provided caches along the way.

A weekend trip up to Gladstone and Calliope saw me having some quiet time on an 800-acre property. We got in some 4wd, some walking on some extreme hill climbs, campfire at night and then a few caches as well. It can be hard work trying to convince some people how much fun you have doing this activity, especially if they are not fully open and listening, lol.
With a little down time and a little time for caching I was happy to get in a few older caches and a couple of puzzle caches. I signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Thanks for the hide and bringing me to this area.

My kids and I have looked twice now. Though new to Caching we absolutely cannot find it
Relogging found caches under the name Bonkersandshush to my other accountGAZKERSH.Thanks.Very cool cache thanks for the cache
A quick find today! I was in Gladstone last year but couldn’t get the geocache due to the Flying Foxes!
Quick and easy find. Had to pick my moment to attack this one to avoid all foot traffic walking past. Trackable was not in it so someone needs to log the trackable so it's movements are up to date. Great area to enjoy lunch as tamagotcha and I did.
Found on a Saturday.....loads of people walking there dogs and some just taking a lovely stroll. Very overcast day. Very well looked after grounds. Will come back for a stroll myself. Tftc . Have a great day
Great Northern escape 2022 Day 124. Gladstone Day 1. I spent the day caching in the Gladstone region, first I headed down to Tannum Sands, then I looped back into Gladstone via another road and did some suburban caches before heading into the port and marina fore shore area to finish my day off.
The first challenge was getting all the way out to this cache area. A few people relaxing in cars doing who knows what, but then the second challenge, finding the container. This was not too hard, the out one , whilst it blends in, is big enough to be found, even in a place like this. The final challenge was working out the codeword. As this is a traditional, I did not read it till I needed to. With several clues to go on, I was happy to find the right word on the lock and it opened neatly.
Thanks for the cache Tui65

A cold, crappy day and we were not real interested in digging around in the wet scrub. We said we would give this one a cursory look and leave if it didn't reveal itself quickly.
Well, we spotted it within a few seconds, worked out the necessary code and signed the log sheet all within about two minutes.
Thanks Tui65.

Hunted for a while longer than we should have in the wrong spot, we made it harder than it needed to be. I like the puzzle element of the cache, had only found a few of these before.
Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for placing the cache.

Nice spot. Found pretty quickly with tassie expat while exploring this interesting area. Thanks for placing it.
What an interesting area. A quick find with the assistance of the local mozzies lol Great container. Fav pt given TFTC
I have rehidden the Cache where it is meant to be.. It is not meant to be out in the open so if you find it like that could you please hide it and let Me know where it is
Found as I headed south after attending the Mega Event at Townsville.
The container was found at the base of a tree more or less out in the open, which did seem a bit odd. The field puzzle was quickly completed, log signed and cache returned to where I found it.
hanks Tui65 for the cache.

We had just had dinner over the water and noticed the lovely lit up trees providing our back drop, as we wandered along East shore I noticed there was a cache over there. Let’s go find it said our muggle friend, she was keen to know what this was all about. So we headed over and got out our torches at Gz and was about to head into the bush when our muggle friend. Called out she had found it! We had walked straight past it and not noticed that it was out in the open and quite exposed.
We retrieved the inner cont and had to fight off and army of ants as we worked out the field puzzle, it took 4 hands but we got it and the log was revealed. Signed log and replaced all back where we found it. Not sure if that’s where it’s supposed to be. Tftc

After the rapidly spreading Covid outbreak forced us to cancel our plans to attend the Wangaratta mega, a decision was made to stay in Qld and head North on a road trip instead.
A friend recommended this one so I was anticipating great things. On opening the container I knew what to do with this. Unfortunately time has not been kind and as mentioned the rings have separated making it difficult to open.
Try as I may it wouldn't open and I thought rather than force it and risk breaking it just to put ink on paper, it would be better to leave it be. Unfortunately that means my name is not in the log but better that than a broken puzzle. Hopefully the CO gets a chance to look at it soon, it's a cracking puzzle.

Checking out Central QLD for a few days and saw this one had garnered a lot of favourite points.
Cool cache but sadly it needs a little TLC. The inner and outer rings of the third wheel have come loose making it quite difficult to open. But with a little nudge between rings I was able to sign the log and reset.
Thanks Tui65 for creating and placing this for us to enjoy. Have a FP for the effort to make something a little different.

Great cache creation although someone trying to be funny has moved some lettering around! F is now A. Leaving you a fave point for your efforts.
