Continued on our walk round Orotu Park this morning. Nice spot for a rest. Searched for a while, including widening the area, but we didn't find the cache.
Popped back in daylight (it's pretty through here) to bring Bo for his 3rd find of 5 this morning.
Found 10 from 12 today, this was number 8. The CO was kind enough to pick me up and give me a lift to this area for a spot of caching after work (I'm here for 5 days with no transport). Having found the nearby puzzle cache I headed towards Fitness is the Key to look for that. Unfortunately, just as I approached a muggle arrived and looked like staying. Nick had needed to go and was to come back for me later so I was on my own with a borrowed head torch. In my wisdom I headed up the road with a view to doing some others "up the hill". Initially I went to get Split Four Ways but ended up in a cemetery with quite a bluff between me and the cache. Blow. Then I thought I'd head here. Hmm. Maybe checking out the area in daylight would've been a good idea as I went to this one "as the crow flies". Oops. At least I found the cache okay! Having got here I had the idea that I knew how to get to Split Four Ways so headed there next. TFTC
Quick find here but I sure did need the seat after coming on the direct approach to GZ and what a great view out over the hills although I do see rain coming my way.

Another great find and adeyb found it her very first on yay!! Love doing this with great friends ☺
Nice quick find , complete with a live tradable EEKKKKKKKK ! Loved the view and the stroll to get there, despite not checking the cache name and heading up hill and down dale to get to it lol. Thanks for placing in such a pretty spot.
Thanks nickbnz for the good caches in the area - we enjoyed walking around finding them. SL TFTC
On a road trip with tmann421 to the Hawkes Bay.
Really enjoyed the walk up to this one and quick find upon arrival. Lovely views on this crisp autumn day.

Nice walk around the hill, and lovely views. Kids found this one very quickly, not sure if it had been tampered with as it was just sitting on the ground. Tucked it away so it's a little more hidden.
quick and easy find today out on a caching mission with kiwiowl happy caching and thanks for the find
Used a little local knowledge to get here which ended in a climb over the fence. lovely old sean and nice new cache pouch. TFTC.
Quick scuttle to game zone and then quick find of cache. Sat for a bit admiring the view. Certainly no sign of any water now. Everything is so dry. Thanks for the cache.
I found this cache with my Mum (sunnybunny64) earlier in the year but have only just got my own geocaching account. I’m hoping you won’t mind me back dating this find so that I can log all the ones I have actually found in my own account. Jordis – 7yrs
Daughter found cache while revisiting park island today. Missed it last night in the dark. Beautiful view and a lovely spot to stop for a rest. TFTC
WE HUFFED AND PUFFED UP THE HILL, GOOD JOB THE CACHE HAD IT'S OWN SEAT FOR US AFTER THE WALK UP. I SPOTTED IT STRAIGHT AWAY, BUT DIDN'T RECOGNISE IT FOR WHAT IT WAS (GOOD CAMO),
HAD A SHORT SCOUT AROUND THEN THE BRAIN CLICKED INTO GEAR AND I REALISED THAT IT WAS THE CACHE I HAD SEEN. QUICK RETRIEVE, SIGN AND REHIDE.

Thanks for this new cache. I sat and pondered, then searched pointlessly. ! re-sat, and pondered profusely, prior to positively perambulating the place further, same result. I will try again. Thank you.
