Found by Mary and David at 14:56. What a lovely spot. Retrieved Agent 47 TB, dropped off "David the Detective" TB. Our thanks to GemmaSistema.
Made the trip out to Dean Reservoir on a gorgeous afternoon. Got to GZ and made a quick find!! TFTC!!
Nice morning to drive for some potatoes. Thought havent got this one so thought I better change that. Had a tiny little blue bird fascinated by my car. Found it easy enough.. glad someone put a scrap bit of paper in. Wouldnt of liked to try and even get the original log out. Tftc
Arrived at GZ and soon had the cache in hand, however the log was soaked and a bit of mess. Didn't have a spare in this car so couldn't do anything to replace it. A neat little area and worthy a cache to tempt us all out there.
Thanks GemmaSistema...photo of log attached.

We have headed to Ballarat to attend doctor appointments and in our spare time head out to areas that we have not cached in to find the many geocaches that have popped up in the forest areas. Most of the roads were acceptable, some geocachers were on walking/bike riding section which hubby hiked on and I drove the car and would pick him up along the way. All geocaches were found and were in good condition. SL TFTC
A nice quick one next to the reddest reservoir i think i have ever seen. Thanks for the new log too.
Out for a mental health break. Checking out the area and some caches. Great spots. Thanks for placing the cache. Replaced very wet log. TFTC
Nice quick find but didn’t sign log due to someone left their face mask in the cache.
Maintenance please.
Maintenance please.
Found it easy enough. Unfortunately the lid was not on properly and it was full of water. Needs some maintenance.
Unfortunately someone left the lid of and it is very wet. I emptied it but it needs a new log.
**Find #3338**
Out and about on the Geo-motorcycle, this was my target cache today. I also did a spot of fishing here as well. What a cracking location. Easy favorite Point from me. Thanks for bringing me here. A great Fly fishing spot.
Thanks **GemmaSistema**

The first cache of a new day, and it was easy enough. Very nice trees around here!
TFTC nice quick find. Out and about exploring the local area. Cache is in good condition.
Surprisingly a few people hanging out here today, almost couldn't get a park.
A quick sign in here and back on the road. Bentley was disappointed to not even get out of the car.

A last minute decision last night to head up to Creswick for the CITO and Event meant a couple of quick messages to AusFox; and Neville_devil and I soon had a couple of copilots for the journey. We left early enough (But still a civilized time) to grab some caches on the way.
A minor detour and this one was in our sights. As we were approaching we were wondering if there was going to be any water at all because we couldn't see the reservoir bet then it was all before us with more water than we imagined.
A quick find after a short hunt.
Thank you GemmaSistema for the hide

Heading to Creswick to attend a CITO and Event and grab a few caches on route with Simsfamily and Neville Devil.
Surprised to see the dam so full considering the weather lately.
After a quick search the cache was located.
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache Gemmasiemensma

Working my way around the district after today's Newlyn Event, found our way over here where the cache was found safe and sound( hey that rhymed!) The reservoir is struggling after a dry summer but the green surrounds here were in stark contrast to the ploughed fields. Thx GemmaS, a nice little oasis.
This is the first cache for a while... life has got in the way..
But we are back and having fun! Tftc.

I found it. This was my first cache. I took out some fishing tackle and put in some money from oversees.
Another cache find while following a few back roads from Ballan, through Creswick and Miners Rest so as to avoid Ballarat whilst enroute to Snake Valley. We are certainly enjoying the drive around this area as we've never been around this area before as our past journeys always seem to be hammering along the boring Western Hwy. heading somewhere else - as always. Not today though!
TFTC
PS: Picked up "Dino Red Spino" TB that was lurking within the cache container.

We're not fishing today, just passing through and picking up caches on the way, a nice easy find.

It is worth a detour past the dam Dean
Not the biggest lake by any means,
but picturesque all the same
The cache was a quick catch,
but it is undersize !! [:o]
So I had to release it again

We have been cooped up, keeping warm and nursing our colds for a couple of weeks and we thought we would head over to the 'rat and celebrate Mica's birthday
Its a pretty spot but they obviously don't want anyone in there.
We had lots of fun today - thanks GemmaSistema

Driving around the countryside testing the GeoPrado after some work it needed. Good excuse to get some geos. Cache in good condition. Thanks for placing this one here.
On our way to visit some friends we made a slight detour along the way, as I had never been here before, the youngest team member made the find, Thanks GemmaSistema for bringing us here and for the fun

A Friday of fun, out and about around Creswick, in an effort to replace the green boxes on our geo-map with smiley tokens. No time for fishing today, certainly a good spot for casting a line.
Our thanks to GemmaSistema for placing this cache.

Moneydork and Mrs Moneydork had very kindly invited me, last November, for a caching trip to Victoria over the Australia Day weekend [:X]
A massive trip with 13 DNFS and 318 finds over 7 days and many kilometers of travel
My knees don't want to bend anymore after a massive ride on the Ballarat Skipton Rail Trail and then about 145 finds the next day while finishing the Dad's Mt. Disappointment Driving Lesson series [xx(] Seems my driving lesson was about me keeping both feet on the ground as I broke my own record by doing the autumn leaf thing 4 times in one day [xx(]
Still a fantastic trip with great sights and lots of cache finds [^]
A travel day today as we head from Ballarat to Seymour.
We picked up this cache on our way out there
Even if I'd have had a fishing rod, I still wouldn't have been able to stop here long enough to use it

We had traveled to Maryborough yesterday afternoon to attend three of the four Geelong Xmas events to help celebrate my nieces engagement and had stayed the night in town and were looking for a few caches on the way home.
We hadn't been here before, it's amazing how many catchment areas there are tucked away.
We didn't have the fishing rods with us so we had to content ourselves with only hooking a cache.
Thanks for the cache.

I didnt even know i had a reservoir lol. My name is Dean so this was a fun one to find. Tftc.
What a windy day! Decided to check this one out as Plymouth57 shares the same name as the reservoir.... a quick find and back to the car to avoid ending up in the reservoir... TFTC
Catching up with some late logs, therefore this unfortunately is going to be one of 'those logs'. I apologize in advance for the generic log, A combination of limited time and too many to log dictates that a generic log is best. I have enjoyed the hunt and being outdoors in this great country of ours, partaking in a pastime that I thoroughly enjoy. I usually head out by myself, but I thank those that have had the misfortune of my company in some of these ventures.
Thanks GemmaSistema for placing this cache.

After attending "A Duck in the Falls" Event at Lal Lal we headed towards Creswick to do some caching while the rain held off, completing a couple of trails and picking up the odd cache or two as we headed back home. Our last for the day/night found easily hidden in its safe haven in good condition.
Thanks GemmaSistema for the cache placement.

Find #1050 for me. I'd driven through Dean many times on my frequent trips to Ballarat from Bendigo but usually I'm running late for dinner at Mum's so don't have time to stop to look for the 3 Dean caches. Today I did have a little time up my sleeves so thought I'd have a go at this one. I left the kids in the car since it was so cold. Actually it felt like Antarctica here today - absolutely freezing! Thankfully it didn't take too long to find the cache and logbook which I brought back to the car to sign since my fingers were like ice. Thanks for this cache Gemma!
Set out to grab the Dean caches then see what else the day had in stall. As we approached GZ we could see a car already there, assuming that it belonged to a fellow cacher we proceeded. Turned out to be Wozzle68. After a quick chat we were on our way to the next couple together. TFTC Gemmasistema.
Thanks for the cache GemmaSistema, the location seems familiar maybe I picked up another here at some stage. Run into so some fellow cachers here and did the next couple with them.
Lovely little spot here. Everything is so green now. Much smaller place than I expected to see here. Very windy today too.
Thanks for giving me a reason to detour out here today gemmasistema

A beautiful day for geocaching, Bogonghazy and I took the geodogs and headed to Crewswick. Collected some lovely caches in a beautiful area of the countryside. Found this one very quickly. Many thanks for sending us out to this gorgeous area.
Decided to take the 2 geodogs along with Leetalicious for a day's caching in and around Creswick.
A beaut day for the middle of the week had us at this small reservoir where a quick find was made with the spot-on coords. Thanks for showing us this spot GemmaSistema

Well what a brilliant day today was.
We headed off bright and early for a wander to the north west, north, centre and east of Creswick.
A clear sky, a gentle breeze, a list of caches to find and the very good company of our great mate Bushfire, what else could you ask for!!!!!
Thankfully the traffic was light for most of the day, we arrived back home in the early evening, well satisfied with our day of 28 finds from 28 caches visited and being with the Red Ant when his 6,000th find was achieved.
This was find number 26.
A quick find here today.
Locals have been target practising here with the sign.

This was find #27 for me at a location I have never been to before but I will be back as I still have at least a days caching left and I have been at least two or three times.
As Ross stated about the mentality of some idiots who have fired a shotgun at the sign.
Gee the water levels are a problem every where we go lately.
Thanks again Gemma for showing us some new areas in our hunt and convert game.

TFTC. Cruising around picking up a few odd ones during my day off. Nice views here, would make a nice painting.
Out and about to clear up some caches in the district that didn't involve walking due to a recent injury. Another car parked at GZ but fortunately they were taking in the sites of the reservoir. Another reservoir with a very low water level. Let's hope we get some rain soon. Thanks Gemma, I really enjoyed my drive on these back roads enjoying the local scenery
My last cache of the day on a bit of a detour home. Nice spot and the cache ws of course a rapid find
Thanks for this placement, always love reservoir caches!

With a day off work today, we decided to organise an impromptu road trip !! We left Geelong mid morning and returned around 5 pm. We were lucky enough to be treated to some amazing scenery. The weather gods were on our side today, providing us with an absolutely glorious day. A great variety of hides and containers kept us on our toes all day. We visited a lot of places we hadn't been to before.
This was our second stop today. Another reservoir and from the same CO !! What are the odds. [;P] Had no problem with the hide here. TFTC GemmaSistema

Off to Creswick for a night with hubby and kid free so thought we would do some caching, around the area of the 2 days.
Found it swapped the highlighter man for a scented eraser

Back again today on our way past, and this time the cache was there. A quick grab and we were on our way. Thanks for the hide.
Found at 8pm on a very cold & windy night. TFTC. Sorry that we could not see anything.
Another cold and windy day caching, my first pickup for the day. Cache is in good condition. Tftc
Thank your mum for me Gemma I found this one and its a place I don't think I have ever stopped at.
The Gps must have been cold cause it started me off around the dam but soon I was back to the proper spot
Its nice to have a warm car to get back into .
