After driving around all day, doing ultra touristy stuff, this was a very pleasant, tranquil find for Mrs C and I. Thank you for bringing us here
A quick find in a muggle intense locality. Many muggles means u r less likely 2 b noticed than if there r just a few. T4TC:-)
Punting around having a break from a crazy family holiday Can see why this is my surfing-mad nephews favourite spot
TFTC petan! Found with our muggle friends - their first cache. Thank you for hiding all these caches for us to find. - HufflepuffCat8499
Sorry we found the cache yesterday but I couldnt log due to poor phone reception at accommodation. Great cache, so glad it hasnt been tampered with. Four Tasmanians got their first Queensland cache. Woo hoo. What a stunning part of the world. And much warmer than Tassie at the moment!!! Haha
#6305Out and about on the Gold Coast enjoying some sightseeing and picking up a few cache finds along the way. This was one of them.Love the frog! Adding a FP for the location. Thanks for the geofun.
Nice little find. Bit rainy today but still managed to find it. On our way me to Brissy after a beautiful holiday in NSW
Great spot! Climbed some rocks to get to it (we went the long way) really nice place to watch the waves and walk
Visited this location on the weekend, a couple had set up nearby and were in no hurry to move, on so I left. Came back after dark, with a quick grab. tftc
Never been to Point Danger before. Decided to visit after Parkrun at Varsity Lakes. Geo dog concerned about No dogs signs
Found on an EV trip from Adelaide to Coolangatta. The wife and I are staying at Beach House with friends, Judy and Graham. Lovely walk towards Snapper Rock and then saw whales breaching near the mouth of the Tweed River. The rocks were very slippery but found fairly quickly. Thanks for placing this cache.
Nice quick find thanks to the hints. Got a wet butt sitting on the rocks trying to retrieve! Lucky mum was with me to hold the geodog - hes good - but a bit big to easily get up and be comfortable!
I didn't expect that, makes sense for the name haha very cute tftc!! We also saw "rocky"
Deciding to take myself away for my days off.. I ended up in this beautiful part of the world.. which both me and my geo_pup thoroughly enjoyed.. partly because of the ability to slow down and the other part due to how stunning the beach is here.. Quick find after watching the sunset and the surfers.. Thanks for cache in this area.. all is in good condition here! Fav due to the location!
Found it! Far too many muggles around for me to retrieve and sign so, hope the photo is acceptable Love this spot, been coming here for years also had my wedding photos taken down here.. Was lucky to get a park too.. (Only just) Tftc!
Walked past initially but too many muggles so I continued the walk and was pleased that on my return there was next to noone around. Took a load off and made the find quickly. Nice spot.
Thanks to the extra hint in photos I avoided too many spectators. Visiting from UK. TFTC
Hey, thanks for the history lesson. Jack was our dads cousin. So I had to collect this cache whilst holidaying in the area from the Sunshine Coast. My sister FINALLY joined. This cache was sentimental for her. She is caching under Campari59. This was her first. But she knows where many, many more are as she has been my and my sons (smallwombat) geo driver for years. Now I can see a way to do a maintenance run, get her numbers up and have a fun day remembering. Tftc
My very first cache. Family members, sunshine 58 and small wombat have been doing geocaching for many years and I have been the muggle sister driving them around. Love the Jack Evans well researched history as he was a relative of ours. Thank you.
Not much left but placed a special painted rock we found on our walk thanks to KK Queensland rocks Found with friends from the Uk
Up in Coolangatta from Melbourne for Cooly Rocks (had a ball, awesome event) and had a few hours spare before setting off to the airport. What else to do but grab a cache or two. What a beautiful spot, would never have come here had it not been for your cache so thank you for placing it here.Nice spot so say goodbye to the breast cancer travel tag geocoin that's been with me for a while.
I really enjoyed reading the history of this area. Fascinating! I'm sure old mate who did it all was a fascinating character to chat with back in the day. I was headed home and bought a late lunch at a nearby Woolies and sat to eat it on the remaining retaining wall, watching the waves, surfers, tourists, dog walkers, a bikini clad female posing for photographers, and many male passers by pausing to watch said photo shoot. haha. Took nothing but left my John Hancock and a tiny frog (after photographing it with Froggy in the background). Thanks for this cache, bringing me here, and teaching me of this fascinating piece of history.
Really beautiful location for a cache. Never even heard of this area! Very nice cache to find. 3 stickers left
20:13FITW GayeNTQuite an interesting read on the cache page. One of the things that stuck with me, was dolphins drowning, sounds strange. Unfortunately, I am here in the dark, so couldn't really see much of the surroundings, but Gaye pointed me out towards a lighter coloured appearing shape across the beach and announced that that's Froggy. Cool! We have a frog rock in Canterbury, NZ too! There's an Earthcache dedicated to it A quick find here, and cache in perfect order!Kia ora! Paldies! Thanks for the cache, petan!#10746
Thanks for replacing the cache. Came here a few months ago and was disappointed. Its a lovely spot. Cache signed and replaced. TFTC
Day 28 of our roadtrip in Australia. Final leg from Byron Bay to Maleny where we will stay the last few days of our vacation at our friends' place. Visiting Murwillumbah and Tweed Heads on the way, and probably try our hands at "Queens land" to score another 2000 cache if time permits it. A quick find thanks to the helpful spoiler picture. Thanks and kind regards from Switzerland, Hinni&Simo
Tried this one a few years ago last time I was up here, pretty sure it wasnt here then, but can say that I easily found it this time. Thanks for the cache Petan
Between weather and work I havr had the opportunity to prepare a new container and replace. The Easter weekend was an opportune time to fix the problem.
Three DNFs suggest that its most likely not there as opposed to not cache blindness or too many muggles about for a proper look. Will visit soonest with a replacement container.
Found it out with frajastia to find a cache or two this was the closest so a short walk from the beach and a quick find in the first place we looked tftc
Id been sent a message which informed me that the log book was full. Since I was going down to the Tweed tonight for other reasons, I packed a spare logbook in my bag. Unfortunately the pencil which should be in the logbook has been taken and Id only bought the logbook, not my spares kit. Obviously youll need to bring your own writing implement to sign the logbook. But then who caches without their own pencil or pen. Photo is of the moon tonight. Nothing to do with the cache but I thought it looked amazing as it rose over the ocean.
A nice cache for Christmas Eve while having lunch at the club! But unfortunately, the rain was a little glum Merry Christmas and thanks for the cache!
