No sign of cache. We think it has been mugged can owner please replace thank you
Just wondering when this will be replaced. I'm down for the weekend visiting, and would be keen to pick this one up - I like to go back to get my previous DNFs....
Cache has been muggled. Will be replacing in the next few days so stay tuned for updates
Had to wonder, and then nearly gave up, and then out of the corner of my eye!! It was there. TFTC
Found it! I was just about to give up. My gps leads me in wrong direction. But the hint is helpful, even when I was looking for in wrong e** area ) nice one. Thank you.
After finishing work in New Plymouth a little bit earlier than I thought that I was going to be I decided that I would take the scenic route around the Western side of the mountain and pick up a few of the caches that have being placed here since I lasted traveled along this lovely SH45.
After finding GC79CF4 - Koru Monastery - New Zealand's First (Taranaki), this was the next cache that I had on my list that I wanted to find today, having found a couple of caches that were here before that are no longer here now it was great to be brought back here again.
As I turned into Corbett Park, I noted that here was quite a few cars in the parking area and thought to myself that this was going to be very interesting and it might take a little while before I would be able to search for this cache. Decided to read the cache description and then decided to follow the instruction and go and check out the area. Was very lucky as the Surf Club was closed as it was out of their peak visitor time and there was only a few muggles walking the beach and not taking any notice as to what I was doing.
After taking the weight off my feet I decided to trust my GPSr but as I looked to where it was pointing me I didnt have any joy, so decided to have another seat, thought things over and then decided to think where would I hide a cache, so many possibilities, but soon settled on a couple of likely options and was quite surprise that I soon had the cache in hand.
What a great spot for a cache, and a very interesting cache container, not your usual type, managed to retrieve the logpage without any issue, signed and then replaced back as found, thanks for placing this cache here and for bringing me to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (12410), glad that I am not here in the middle of summer would definitely be a no goer.

Well hidden my two boys had a good look for about 20 mins then I spotted it. Great little hiding place. Cheers to the guy sitting in his truck nearby for lending me a pen. We did a quick family excursion to the pā on top of the hill before heading home.
Have been in New Plymouth for the last couple of days for work, but now it is time to head on home. Being a Saturday, I'm on my own time so I can take a more leisurely route - I've been around the mountain caching before, but I see that here has been some new caches since I last did it.
This was my second visit to this site - as I did not have any luck on my first visit. Found after a short search just before I was going to give up again. Hint doesn't seem to match hide anymore. TFTC

Brought my muggle hubby for the hunt today and it's paying off! He's finding them all, I'll convert him yet! Lovely day for a walk around the beach, coffee in hand we took in the views then spotted the cache on the way out. TFTC
Like many others I almost gave up , found it as we were leaving. Nice container. TFTC
Cute wee hide and vessel. Not sure it's where it was ment to be hidden but re hid where it was found.
Took some time but finally found it after reading previous logs... first time I've seen a cache container like this one
Nice view at the beach today. Well hidden and good camo. Almost about to give up and made the discovery. Not sure what the hint meant. Tftc
Lovely spot. After much searching we gave up and did the other cache in the area. On our way back to the car we decided to take one more look and found it! An unusual container. Tftc
Stopped in our motorhome for a coffee before getting into New Plymouth. What a cool cache. Thanks.
GPS has taken me the long way home from the Mega. Finding some good caches along the way, TFTC
As per other logs forget the clue and expand search. Cool container which could be utilised better. Thanks for bringing us here
What a cool little spot to enjoy the coast! Beautiful day so quite a few people about. Felt a bit uncomfortable poking about looking for the cache. Thought a bit more laterally about the clue and cache was quickly in hand (must confess it wasn't at all what I'd been expecting. Probably why it took me so long to find it!). Tftc
Visiting from Australia I have been staying in New Plymouth for a week visiting my sister. This is my last full day here before heading up to the mega event tomorrow. So I thought I would do a southwards loop before I leave.
Last for the day on the loop north, reading past logs I wasn't sure what to expect but once I got off the platform in fact it was spotted quickly enough. So a final smilie for the day, tomorrow it is off to the interior. Thanks Malady.

Found it after a big search. Needs some maintainence though so should have been much easier.....
Took a bit of searching to find it, but we did. Such a pretty spot. Log needs replacing.
Important part of cache clues has been pulled down and stuck by seat. Plus log needs to be replaced as is full.
Almost gave up on this one but spied something as we were leaving and wolaa we found it so signed the log and replaced as found then on our way.TFTC
Tried and tried, looked and looked, followed anything that could be considered a sign, combed the beach and bushes, overturned stones and rummaged through shoes, but did not find it despite looking for about half an hour.
Maybe the travelling fox needs a lovely vixen and some spirited kits to help him search.
Anyone interested? =^,~=

just about to leave and log as a dnf but something caught my eye on the way out....not sure if this is in its original home . tftc
Third find for the day, this was an interesting cache, hint and description didn't make alot of sense in hindsight but its allgood. Other caches comments actually helped more so. Very cool container for it, saw it out the corner of my eye and was unsure for a few seconds what it actually was. Took me abit longer than perhaps it should off but end result was good. TFTC
Looked for it until I got challenged, then left. No idea where it should be. Neither the coordinates, nor the description, nor the hint seem to turn up anything. Maybe it got raided?

Once we ignored the sit and look notion we managed to find it. Would class this as a small sized cache not extra small, that threw us off a bit too. But great spot thank you!
Nice easy find. No muggles about at all. Thanks for the cache. Found with JayDubENT
Took us a little while to find it. Didn't find it where we were expecting to with the cache description. Beautiful area! TFTC ^_^
Traveling to Wellington with Loth and picking up caches along the way. We are touring NZ from the USA for a few months. Tftc!
Had me on all fours looking for this but could not find, then saw previous logs about co~ords are out, we come back another day
Awesome location and a great place for a beer or two with mates. Inventive container and nice easy find. TFTC
Found after a search that was longer than it shod have been. We over-though the hide a bit, and the information about viewing from seats did not match the location we finally found it, but it was found eventually, and the area is certainly worth bringing cachers too.
A tweak of the waypoint would help also - we found it 5m from the listed point.
Logging a Needs Maintenance next, as the temporary log fitted by a previous finder is now full also, to time for an owners visit.

Looked for about half an hour.... to no avail. Where is Goober 24 when you need her.
Out with marfell special needs unit. Great walk along the beach. No mugglers so went looking. I like the container.
Nice and quite tonight, good spot to watch the waves, also saw the high tidal bore coming upriver, not seen that before. Cache dry but log sheet very tatty. Mission accomplished, this one is a wrap.TFTC! Blenheim Bear
