Logs
OCW PelDroedGwin After reading plenty of logs I think have a pretty good idea what we were looking for and can even clearly see it on a few of the gallery images however it wasnt there when we visited.
I was 99% sure what I was looking for after reading previous logs. One of the four signs is missing. I suspect the geocache has gone with it. Thanks anyway.
We had a brief search yesterday but got rained out, so today with no distractions we found the rather sad cache. Can imagine in its heyday it would have been well placed and a good hide. Tftc
On our Australian trip . After started for some days in Darwin we are on the road to Perth now .On the Road after Katherine we have seen Edith Falls, Kunnurra and Bungles Bungle. Finally we cross the Pentecost-river to enter the Gibb RiverRoad . A lot to see like Emma Falls, El Questro, Mitchel Falls, Manning Gorge, Galvans Gorge, Bell Gorge, Tunnel Creek and Windjana Gorge .Now return on the sealed road again . Further over Derby, Broome, Port Hedland, Karratha, Karijini NP, Exmouth and now down the coast to Perth .After Coral Bay and Carnarvan we headed further on the road and stopped for this one on our way to Monkey Mia .It was a must for me to see the wind turbine . There are also PV to serve the peninsula, quit good .The cache was on the ground and with this asset, it looked, that it doesn't belong to there... but I have left it there, because I didn't know exactly where it should be. Sure a steel part and not the aluminium sign around there for the magnetic sign. A pity for this cache...TFTC# 17'278
Found this on the way back to Denham from Monkey Mia. Didn't see any monkeys, but there were heaps of dolphins! The cache seemed to be Ok and dry, but it will get wet again. Thanks for the cache!
Found this cache whilst on our two month adventure throughout central Australia and remote parts of WA.Found it but needs a bit of TLCThanks to all the COs for adding to our adventure. TFTC
A caching trip from Canberra, ACT to Cape York, Qld and then around the gulf to East Arnhem Land, NT then over the top of WA to Perth.Interesting detours to Thursday Island, Mabuiag Island, Mornington Island, Doomadgee, Hells Gate, Nhulunbuy, Wadeye, Litchfield Nat Park, Wyndham and the Gibb River Road.TFTC.Took a while to find in the dark.
It was helpful to read some previous logs after nothing was found where we expected. We then started on a different line of search, a bit further afield. I don't know how we didn't spot that sooner... Found to the whooshing of the turbine. TFTC jowiba.
This was a lot longer search than necessary, not because it was difficult, but due to the dark. Searched about all the likely objects, knew it was displaced but just needed to light to shine on the right thing. It's very obvious!
On our travels we stopped to grab this cache as previously stated it is not in position and the log is wet, definitely needs some TLC, but still a fun cache, thanks for placing it
After camping at Big Lagoon in Francois Peron National Park for the last couple of nights, FeatherWaite and I headed down towards Mullewa, finding a few selected caches on the way. This was our first cache for the day and was a quick find. The cache is not in good condition and most probably not where it was intended to be. It could use some maintenance. However we were able to sign the log. Thanks jowiba for the cache.
Found with e.gregory1 on a trip from Adelaide to north-western Western Australia. After spending two nights at Big Lagoon in Francois Peron National Park we called in at this cache on our way through Denham as we headed southwards. Thanks for the cache jowiba!
Cache is not as described but still in general vicinity. Just look for something out of place
Cache needs attention. Wet log book and I didnt have paper to replace. Signed nnn. TFTC
A quick find here today, as I picked the right type of hide as I approached GZ. Thanks for the cache jowiba
I arrived at GZ to find a group of muggles. I wondered if I would be able to out-wait them when I heard one of them mention Geocaching. Turns out a couple of them were cachers not muggles after all. They'd had trouble locating the cache but I'd got a hint from a previous log which made it a quick find.SL TFTC
GZ is a bit off but through previous logs managed to figure out what we were looking for. Log book is almost full. Tftc!
With the help of the previous cacher, I have finally found this sneaky cache which really blended in with the surroundings, including a snake!!
Suite de notre priple en Australie: sur la route de Monkey Mia, on fait une pause Denham. Hlas rien malgr un certain temps de recherche.
Almost gave up the search. Was allready back in the car.Nice hidden.Thank you jowiba for the cache.
Heading from Kalbarri to monkey mia with emukka and stopping at some caches along the way. Nice quick find, tftc!
Sneaky hide! Found it after a bit of a search and realised it was staring us right in the face! Found on Day 4 of our honeymoon! Tftc
Stopped in here on our way back from camping ag Big Lagoon. Took us a bit to find. I really should be a bit more thorough as searched a few of them. My partner was more thorough and came up trumps. Thanks for the cache
Took awhile to hint this one down as our gps coords were bouncing around. Once they settled they seemed a few metres out. Would be tricky if you hadnt seen this type before too. Interesting info on the boards, the turbines are a lot older than we guessed.
Very tricky. Never come across one of these before so know what to look for next time. Took five of us quite a while to find. Really enjoyed. TFTC
A short trip to the area and of course some caches had to be found. Arrived and wasn t sure on the coords and looked on the nearest object given the hint. Some more thinking and widening to reveal a hide type we had not seen for awhile. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Sneaky! Luckily it didn't take too long to find once we expanded our search area. Found with Redrobbin25.Tftc

Last cache before I leave - thanks to the CO for the incentive to wander up here - rather interesting and over yonder is solar too. So it’s Bingo bango eventually- just took a wee time and should have registered when I first saw it. Stunning coastline - and of course what else to expect! The trip is making me think about re-imagining Australian history In Denham for a few days with plenty of time to explore on trusty treadles and appreciate another AUS World Heritage site. Have travelled WEST from home base 4200 km away and that includes altitude as well so enjoying the landscape and habitat changes of this BIG country. TFTC again
Heading North, I'm not sure how far we will go.
It's a beautiful area and we will visit again.

After our early morning visit at the Eagle Bluff we returned to Denham for breakfast and coffee but made a short (or even longer) stop for this cache. Where could this sneaky logbook be hidden? Is it at the windmill, is it in the rocks or is it elsewhere?? We know it now but don't want to spoil anything, because it is a really good hide, for which we are glad to leave a favo.
Thanks for the cache and regards from Switzerland.

Tftc. Sneaky as anything. A little bit of gloating for the 2 who worked it out. Very cool.
Here yesterday and had no luck the sun had set. So relied on torches only, back today and found within seconds, good hide
Today is day 4 of my Exmouth trip and I spent the day here in the Denham/Monkey Mia area ! Lots of interesting and wonderful places to be explored were waiting for me . On this beautiful day I was able to collect many traditionals in Denham and some other caches close by..... Thanks for showing me this special area by placing your GCs [:o)].
TFTC
PS: unfortunately the coords are not the best, so I searched the wrong objects for quite awhile [B)]. Once I riveted on a different place it was a matter of seconds .

Oh my word!! First tricky geocache… it took us a few stop ins and checks and FINALY found it!!! Well done and thank you.
Thanks for bringing us to this info point. Another one of those times caching takes you to interesting spots. Sneaky cache. Luckily we have seen one like this before and knew what to look for. Signed and replaced as found. Fav point from us. TFTC

We were distracted upon arriving at GZ by a gorgeous family of emus grazing nearby. The added view of these beefy wind turbines easily made this stop the highlight of our day. We have found a few of this type of hide before, but are always a bit wary poking about this type of host. Thankfully no injuries today. TFTC jowiba
We have found similar caches to this so spotted it straight away.
TFTC jowiba this is find #12555 for us.

Ah, this was a tricky one. We looked high and low and in and out, then noticed something that didn't look quite right. Bingo. Thanks for bringing us here, clever hide.
I had completely gone blank drawing no joy but then a prompt reminded everything isn’t always as it seems.
TFTC found on a touristy day around Denham. Cache & log in good condition, have seen this hide type previously so was a quick find.
