I grabbed the kids and headed out today to find a few caches, and while we were restricted to our LGA, we managed to go for a decent drive and get out and see some bush land.

We enjoyed the drive to this nice roadside stop, and as soon as we stepped out of the car, we spotted the cache.

We have travelled up from Sydney’s Northern Beaches, staying for a couple of nights in a park cabin at the Lake Macquarie Big4 Tourist Park in Mannering Park, to continue with our caching adventures on the Western shores of Lake Macquarie. Our previous visit to the area was in March/April 2018 for the OZ GeoMuster 2018 Lake Mac Mega Event, where our family’s chief puzzle solver had managed to solve (unassisted) a good portion of the Mega GeoArt puzzle caches that were on offer. And this new visit will hopefully see us complete most of the missing pieces of that Mega GeoArt, thanks once again to our family’s chief puzzle solver’s (unassisted) puzzle solving efforts. This was the 3rd of 28 finds for the day, and 25th of 73 finds for the weekend.

Our third stop and another nice quick roadside "park & grab". TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Lots of bird calls to enjoy whilst signing the log. TFTC GeelongCats.

Well we parked right next to GZ opened door and there was a red belly black snake. He went into the stump. So please be aware he is in there. We did get the cache out and signed log. Please watch out.
