Unfortunately, it would seem this hide has lost its minder.

"This is one of the great tree climbs around Melbourne.
In its latest interation it was rediscover just before Covid hit.
Quest 99 is made to last.
Just because so many others are scared to climb or don't have the equipment is disappointing. They miss out.
That you have rated this as Needs Archiving is certainly disappointing.
If you have the courage, I have the equipment for an unforgettable adventure.
The bananas wait in anticipation.
B1"
Conclusion
Of course it is there.
*I checked the cache two days ago by accident. If it's missing now, I'd say that's supicious.
(Log type changed to 'Write Note' by Reviewer).
Also those that originally helped out have probably now grown up. No Adam, No Eve and No Party boy. Only the bananas. So no team totem poll today.
But that isn't all that changed.
Start and finish also. The original prize at the start has now be souvenired by someone thinking they have had found treasure.
But the memories live on for the bananas.
Anyway with the tree moved a new tag needed to be located. After 30 minutes of examination. No luck. But a climb is always fun. And what do you know. Near where the rope looped through the high tree fork, to the West the tag could be seen. Down was our next direction. Rope reset and after a little up, the numbers recorded.
So that is where it now is?
Been there, done that. But it didn't count because after the Big event it was archived and locked.
It is a hard to get to. But getting to it, the Quest was repeated.
Not surprising the previous record was also us.
When all those Yarra Council issues arose, expected this location would be lost. But luckily it has now found a safe home.
Not that it counts, but the bananas have been first to find in three of the iterations.
Understand this has been a favourite treasure......
And clearly it remains so.
***Cheers***

Imagine my surprise when I saw from the car that the information for the logbook is definitely missing.
With a passion for entering our name in new logbooks we wished to visit.
Now we didn't have the old code so back we went for those number to a familiar place.
With those numbers now available it was back to the glitter.
But 5 numbers don't transfer well to 4 so the signature took a delay.
But sign amongst the glitter we did.
For a second time.

Was meant to disable this on Friday > I checked and as previously mentioned, they're redoing the deck. As soon as this is done, I'll bolt on another container.
@Reviewer: Please don't archive this cache since I have every intention of replacing this gem of a city council approval [^]
Returned today keen for a second crack with Quasar 3671 and noWorries. Quas twisted and turned until google was consulted on the correct way - and bang she was open. We sat under the light and added our names - glad to have that one done. A bold urban cache - well done. Notice noone has found this cache via the other non climbing cache.
Cheers
It was dark by now and I was joined by Jacko83 and NoWorries, and together we tackled the combo lock to gain access to the logbook. Many twists and turns later, we settled on a sequence that eventually proved correct.
A great cache and thanks.
A visit was paid after dark one evening and the passing security guard returned for some answers.
A pity he had none for me, so onto the back burner for now...
Eventually some information was revealed and tonight I was in the area hunting cache, so everything was put together.
Many failed attempts later and iphone consulted "g" for clarification... ahhh... so that's how it's done.
Into the glitter with Bully.
I remember going to the big smoke in the company of skullracing for a little caching trip. The weather wasn't great but we managed to grab some caches between showers.
We ended up in a park doing a few of the quest series.
This one popped up on our screens and of course it was on for young and old.
Lucky for me I was i the right place at the right time because I would never have go that wp!!
Lex made light work of that while Kerrie and I did another trad nearby.
Not long after and we were at GZ and after finally getting the cache opened it was a glitter party
Thanks for the fun ° [^]
As soon as we rocked up to the starting co-ords, it all became much clearer......I have seen this box and building on a certain book of faces, I know what THIS is!
So with great excitement, we got the required info, and worked out where we had to go........over there!....up THAT road....super.
So we continued our wandering around the park to grab the other ones in here, and then we all piled into the mighty Triton for the "20 minute round trip" up THAT road......
We arrived at the WP, and the girls went off to find a nearby cache while I pulled out the gear and prayed I wasn't going to make a Christmas tree out of all of this.......and waddayaknow.......got it first shot!, Woo-Hoo!..in fact, I had the famous bright green rope up and over and I was half way up by the time they got back. So when I arrived at the undisclosed location at an undisclosed distance from the ground, I gathered the secret info required, and got back down much slower than the speed of gravity.
With everything chucked back in the Triton, and us as well, we took the "20 minute round trip" back down THAT round to where we started from, and took the now familiar stroll through the park to THAT box on THAT building.
And then we started to do battle with the combination...........
End Score.....Lex-Nil.....The Queen- 1
Woo-Hoo!, the Queen eventually got it open and there was much rejoicing....
And then we all started to notice the sparkles..........everywhere..........all over all of us............for days later......
So we all signed the sparkly log book and wandered off into the sunset, with a smile on our faces.
Well there is #99 off the list.....
Thanks Philipp..........ripper.
Cheers
I got the coords for WP1 and headed of to climb a tree. I saw what I thought was the WP but sought confirmation from the CO. Once I had that I shot my line up and thankfully hit the target first go. Up I went and gathered the required information. While up there I noticed an old shot line, I had a good laugh when I saw how tangled around in the upper branches it was, and then I saw the makeshift throw bag dangling in the breeze. I was lucky not to get myself tangled up there as well!
With the combination discovered I put the final off to go climb some other trees. I returned to it in the cover of darkness and cracked the lock quickly to access the log book.
I thought this was a really great cache and very cool that it's partly out in the open for all to see.
Thanks for the fun Philipp, and TFTC
Picked up the coordinates for th next stage, which we will head to on the next trip to Melbourne.
Had two weeks work in Hawthorn and thought I might be able to knock this one off after work, even if I did a stage a night. but after collecting the first bit of information and battling the peak hour traffic home thought it best to try the next stages on a quite weekend.
Well today I had a few hours spare so headed of to stage1 and apart from the windy conditions had no problem gathering the required information more than I can say for whoever attempted this last, as there was all sorts of make shift throw line hanging from the tree (Wonder if they managed to get there in the end?) Well I did manage to retrieve one improvised throw bag and length of bricky's line.
After getting side tracked over to Fitzroy garden to recover a cache, I eventual arrived back where I had started. Lucky for me I had picked a quite afternoon so had the area to myself and I could extract the logbook from this very bold cache. hmm this should a cinch…. well ½ hour later I finally deciphered the instruction and entered the numbers correctly Phew!
Well atleast I didn’t have to battle the traffic home
A very bold cache which indeed gets one of my rare fav points
PS. I think it should read Three turns right to A, full turn right, right to BB, left to CC

The bananas arrived at the secret location and found themselves a "little short".
Looking all the way up the birthday party gathered to see what was happening.
"Look up there. Do you want to help us find out what that is?"
The big wide blue eyes opened and after a little time "Yes please" was the polite answer. We had some climbing buddies. Some who were so young they had never known fear.
The bananas swooped.
The birthday boy decided for all that he wanted to be on top. Others were arranged by height. The climb began. One on top of another with B1 at the bottom.
We got closer. Until disaster.
Eve started crying because when we were nearly there Adam was looking up here dress. We had to start again and separate these two.
Anyway with the promise of party ice cream the totem pole took shape.
Don't know how many it took but at the top it was "Real Scary" was one comment.
We should have taken a photo. We didn't. We left them to enjoy their ice cream.
Anyway that is how the bananas saw it and we are sticking to that story.
