Logs
#15182 19:03A long weekend of geocaching away from Sydney. For this long weekend, a group of 8 geocachers descended down upon Callala Beach at Jervis Bay. Each day a different area was selected and all logs were signed with I'M ZEBRA, comprising of the initials of each member of the group. Another easy find! Rushing back home to watch the NRL Grand Final. Go Panthers!TFTC
Quick grab on our caching adventure today. Met the reptilian guard while there dining on a roo carcase for lunch.
Lots of parking here, and once I had the area cleared of quite large spiders the cache was retrieved and logged. Thanks for a good hide on the drive back to our temporary home.
Very full log but successfully navigated the giant huntsman guarding this one and found some space to sign!!
Took me a while after a bit of a close look I found it. I’m also scard of spiders with did not help me but I managed. TFTC
Waited for a gap in the traffic before I was able to retrieve it. Great spot.
Welcome to Callala Bay to us! Chrissyb pdbunce and I decided to visit this little gem of a place on our holiday down the south coast. This was the first of the day and we had CIH shortly after arrival. It took longer at the junction of the roads north of here to all the roadworks. TFTC.
Wish that ugly tower wasn't the welcome into such a beautiful spot though. TFTC
Nice park and grab on the way home from a walk in the beach with the dogs. Quick find, but the rust made it difficult to open. Could do with a new container or some WD-40. Thanks
Had a night and two half days in Callala...and made the most of it...but not completely, as I will be back from time to time...for the rest of them...eventually. TFTC
First time at this spot. I can hazard a guess as to where it is but spiders freak me out.
After a visit to the beach everyone else was keen for a snooze - perfect opportunity for some caches and with the sun out a few butterflies. Headed to Callala and had some luck with both.
This took a lot longer than it should have - and felt very exposed with all the traffic. Once located I returned the wrong way and it fell in a hole - took a lot of scraping with a stick to extract again - but is back in place. Had both Monarch and Orchard Swallowtail here.
