Misplaced our pen between Guilford and this cache so couldn't sign the log but had fun anyway. TFTC
Found, however, due to a pen misplacement, was unable to sign.
It would be nice if CO replaced the paper though, it was fairly weathered.
Thanks

We visited bikerbuddy's mother today, and stopped for a walk with some caches on the way back. We had intended to do a few more, but the others nearby were either offline or unreachable due to roadworks. We noted the clue down for this one, but who can tell if it will ever be used?
Thanks

We'd been to see my mother for Mother's Day and were on our way home. But since we've been trying to reach a walking goal each day and neither of us had many steps on our watches, we decided to park the car in the back streets of Parramatta and go for a walk. Toriaz managed to find two caches, but since I'd already found the other, this was my only find for the day. The other caches in the area where we had intended to look are either off line or should be due to the road works being carried out to widen the road. This cache, however, is unaffected. Thanks
Realising that if I find 30 more, I'll have a 1-a-day average for 2015, decided to go out on a cache-blitz (and set a PB of 30 in one day) today. This is 4th of 30 for the day.

Despite the warm weather I still felt like getting out for some caching, but obviously long bushwalks were going to be out of the question. So it was time for some more suburban finds with the comfort of the air conditioned car in between caches.
Nothing like a nice peaceful walk on a quiet track to find a cache [:o)] but the cache was quickly in hand. No cyclists spotted so I guess the heat must have kept them indoors today. Thanks casper73.

Well, this one has been unfound for a while. I was one of the early DNFers, back in February when the cache was listed.
I only had a limited window to cache today, so thought I'd check this one out again, and if unsuccessful travel a bit further west for the day's find.
Parked The Family Chariot at the cul de sac end of Ledger Road, and made my way onto the bike track for the 300 metre walk to GZ.
Having taken heed of the last few found logs, I started my search about 20 metres west of the published coordinates (ironically a spot I'd concentrated on during my DNF).
It took me under 5 minutes today to find the container - with a plump cache guardian that I only spotted AFTER picking it up.
Luckily it was quite sluggish (not a morning spider obviously) and I nudged it gently off with a stick, then took the cache well away to complete signing duties.
Log was nice and dry, and the clue to the final (the last I need) was grabbed.
Now the problem... Where to replace?
The spot I made the find is very obviously wrong (assume someone found it and threw it away), so made an executive decision to relocate it closer to the published coordinates, and in a spot in keeping with the container. Not sure how secure the spot is in the long term, though.
It's now about 8 metres EAST of the published coordinates at S 33° 49.648 E 150° 59.669.
I'll add a Needs Maintenance log so the CO can evaluate the current position and reposition / update coordinates as he sees fit.

Couldn't find this one. Tried to look 20m West as previous logs have noted but still nothing, even with the help of the GeoBrother.
Out on a late Friday night search with snoopy, we decided to get the last of the M4 series for snoopy (I still have a couple more to find). Took the geodogs for the drive and our first obstacle was to work out how to get to the cycle path. We remembered another cache nearby that had a pedestrian underpass that had a path opening so we headed off to park the car there. Seeing as we were going on a fenced in path the geodogs were allowed to come for the walk to GZ. We were struggling to find the cache and it was too late in the night to be bothering a PAF, so we analysed previous logs and just kept on looking. Eventually I came up with the goods but looking at the cache container and the hide type it does make you wonder if it is in the original spot, like other finders we believe the coords to be off by 20 metres but the name of the cache is a pretty good clue as to the approximate location of GZ. SL #1801 on streak day #967 TFTC
Streak Day #596 - After watching some TBBT and ris768 having a snooze we finally motivated ourselves to go for a find, this one took awhile to find and once found, the container didn't appear to match the hide. TFTC
PM peak hour is not a good time to search for this cache, my ears are still ringing! Seriously you may need ear protection at those times. I found the cache about 20m west of my indicated GZ today.
I remember being near this place when finding a different cache.
I had to read the previous logs carefully to find the hints of the hiding place. When I eventually found it, I could see that the cache was meant to be hidden in a different way.
Oh well. I found it now!
Thanks for the cache.

Took its time to reveal itself, thus nearly making me late for work. Didn't expect it to be placed like that, but that's caching, thanks Casper. Can only assume it's original hide was accessed from down here, climbing hard along Pitt St bridge to the I-Beam?
14/2/15. 8:30 AM. Cache #2256. Streak day #237. 5th in the M4 series for me heading east; parked at the end of Fox St (a familiar spot from my search for "Here me Roar" last May) and used the bike track to get the last 2 traditionals in the M4 series. pitt street was the hardest one of the series, or at least it took me the longest.
Despite some very helpful details in past logs about how many metres out and in which direction, it still took me ages due to being very well tucked away. When I finally did get it, I signed, replaced and then continued on foot to church street. TFTC }:)

I couldn't find this and as I went for a phone-a-friend my phone died!?!
After returning to the car and charging it, I used help to find the cache 19 metres west of my gz.

The Booo's found this cache,
A late decision to head out to grab some cache had has doing this series.
We read the previous logs and thought we knew where we where looking but we couldn't place our hands on the cache. We PAFed again and spoke to the CO who confirmed we where looking in the right spot, kept searching and a few moments later found the cache!
Thanks casper73 for placing this cache

#2884- 2TF-This was my next stop on the M4 series on my way to Parramata. Having seen that this had still not been found, and being a weekday, I thought I may have a crack at FTF. I don't know the area well and the GPS took me to Pitt Street, but I still was yet to work out how to get onto the bike track.
I stopped and peered down from the bridge, only to see Blacktownman. I called out I'd come down and help him look when I saw the cache. He waited for me to drive further down the side street, park and walk up. Always fun for someone else to watch a cacher looking when they know where it is.
When I did find it, it was still about 10m west of the new listed co-ordinates. The magnet really wasn't needed at all. Thanks

I returned for a quick peak at daylight after my night search last night but again no luck. I had already emailed the CO about the position indicated on the google map and he confirmed the general position and gave me a clue. I returned at 3.45pm and armed with the FTF clue I made a quick find. I make it 16m from the listed coordinates. Viewing the google map on maximum magnification shows which side of the track to search and when revealed it is easy to see. TFT series. It gave me 3 FTF.
CO, after reading the 7pm log from last night, the plot had us on the edge of neighbours drive, and it's not good looking suspect in that location.
Please change green plot location towards the bridge and maybe the hide. I shan't be returning with angry neighbours especially when they park their vehicle where we are looking on their own driveway.

Fourth to DNF this morning!
Based on the clue I was next to the M4, checking lightpoles, railings and even the leaf letter near the retaining wall (only one bicycle came past, but squillions of cars, of course).
Problem is, the iPhone was putting me 15-20 metres up the hill, which definitely doesn't match the terrain rating. And on the road above (from where you can't reach the indicated spot), it's still a good distance away from Pitt Street.
As others have said, I'll wait on this one & see what eventuates.

After being equal FTNF yesterday I saw the reset cords at 5.30pm but had to go to Cub Scouts tonight. Once the meeting was over at 9pm I headed to the new GZ. Like GH before me I checked a lot of rail, a couple of light poles and even the bridge. My device had GZ just over the retaining wall. I had a suspicion of a sneaky RS type hide but couldn't see one in the dark. With a 1 1/2 difficulty rating this should be easy.

Well, there's nothing that matches both T&D ratings, might pay for a check up.
I'd say it's muggled already, might pay to move the green plot closer to the M4.
Will be interesting if a few finds pop up now.

I arrived after 3 FTFs further west and had done a short search when another cacher turned up. Nice to meet you martin cousins. Our signals both led to the same location but nothing was found. We extended our search both sides of the road over an obvious area but both gave up and headed for the Church St cache.
Going for our first FTF after two DNF's at 7pm and after 20mins have had enough.
Even neighbour from across the road came over and says I'm the sixth person to spend a lot of time here. He doesn't like us looking here and threatens he will involve the police.
Maybe if it was an easy find then all the people wouldn't spend so much time in a place that is not pretty.

Had a call from team Canary saying some could not found it so came back and checked on cache and its there
