Looks like the area has changed a bit and the cache has drifted. It's there, but not where I think you intended to hide it, and the logbook is saturated.
Headed out and about with the Slow Punctures today. The plan didn't go to plan, which was good, because we had a great time despite the plan!!! This was one of many caches grabbed on the drive from Brisbane to Landsborough to Maleny and on to Mooloolah and back home. Epic day, and thanks for making it better by providing some caches to find!
PS - Something may have gone a bit amiss with this cache. When we arrived there was brand new mulch and woodchips everywhere. The cache was up high (was it supposed to be there?), in the open, and slightly off where my GPS was pointing. The logbook was drenched. Apologies, I didn't have my spares with me. I suspect some work has been done in the area and a well meaning muggle has placed it somewhere "safe".
However, don't let that detract future finders. It's a FANTASTIC spot, well worth the drive / explore, and the cache is still there for the finding.

Saturday. Out on a day trip with oz_bean_counter at the wheel! A great day was had by all. As bean_counter's log mentions, not in the place we expected to find it.
We had visited here before, so just stopping in to log some TB visits.

Found on the ground in the open. Unsure as to where it’s meant to go. Placed higher. Logbook very wet. Thanks for the hide!
I was down the road at the creek collecting information for the earthcache and decided to head further along to add this one to our tally as well since I was so close.

Wesso Family I found your cache Valley Billabong on 8/7/2022, 12:20 pm. This is my find 3696 and find # 4 today. Found it after a brief search. Soon as I was putting the cache back a lady told me from the road that I was on private property. I think she came from the house next to the creek. Not sure if this is going to be a problem?? Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Out finding a few caches with Mr CuriousQuest. After finding a nearby cache, we headed to this one. I parked the geomobile and we headed to GZ. My caching buddy went one way and I went the other way. He had his hands on thee cache in no time. With our names added tot he log, we were soon on our way again. TFTC
In the area today and had the opportunity to collect some caches on this part of the coast. Thought I would start with focussing on the unloved ones first. Once found and log retrieved I saw another cacher that I know had the same idea as me. Jinx!! Thought I would bump into them at the next cache on the trail but it was not to be. The path down to Kings Kanyon was too steep for me and I couldn’t spot the easier way in others have mentioned. Yay for the smiley here!
This one sorta just happened after visiting the Canyon.
My daughter asked me about the train tunnel and I remembered the canyon wasnt too far from there.
So I had two target caches for the day...Ghost Train and Kings Kanyon.
Ghost Train led to Rose View,
Led to awesome bakery feed at Mooloolah.
The best steak and mushroom pie I ever had.
A little perusal in the hardware store and then we were off.
We spent ages at the Kanyon.
A good hour taking photos and videos.
Daughter made me so proud today.
She beat me everywhere,
Found the caches before me.
Well, the kids were part of my profile at the very start.
Once the Kanyon business was complete,
We stopped and talked to the ETS guys clearing the trees from the powerlines.
We compared serious notes about technical tree climbs.
I got some tips from them.
I then let them be,
Stopped near GZ and Kiara beat me again.
Bloody Kids.
Thanks Wesso Family for keeping this one alive.
Water was a bit stagnant at this point today, but would be awesome after some rain.

Last for the day, another unloved find where we were first to visit for 2019. An easy find here.

This is such a pretty area, thanks for being us here, all is good with your cache
A good parking area a little stroll and a nice cache was found. All good with this one. TFTC
Quick find. I imagine this would be a lovely and popular spot when the water is flowing well. Thanks for bringing me here, bones74.
We were out today finding a few caches that we need to qualify for a challenge cache we're working on.
This cache was one that suited so a found was made on it.
The GPS was a little all over the place so I had a bit of trouble getting a accurate fix on where we should look. I searched around and thought now where would I put it.
Ah ha maybe over there, and yep that's where it was.
All is good with it.
There wasn't a lot of water in the creek today but it was still a nice little spot.

Out and about in the area finding all of those caches I have not found on past visits.
After finding the 'new ones' around Ewen Dam I expanded out to find a few more.
A short search before spotting this one.
Thanks for the cache.

Heading up to Tewantin for a few days. Nothing planned for today, so time for some caching along the way.
I had pedaled the geocycle around Ewen Maddock for a while and I was now winding my way north, visiting a few caches along the way.
A nice little spot here. A nice quick find too.

Love these caches that take us to somewhere we've never been even though we've lived on the Coast for 12 years. TFTC. Found with Secret7(P).
Out for a cache run this afternoon with GeographyMan and the rest of the family to grab our earth cache souvenir. Quick stop on our way to the Glasshouse Mountains. Pretty little location that I never knew was here. TFTC Bones74
This is a pretty area, but can imagine it would flood easily in heavy rain. At GZ we made a fairly quick find - which was just as well as the mozzies were advancing on us quickly! TNLNSL TFTC
Yay, been saving this one for a rainy day!

I really enjoyed this little detour up a road that I've not taken before. It would be nice in wet weather too I suppose but glad that it was dry today when I was in the old geo-dub. Thanks Bones74, great location.
Out with Mr Slow Puncture and Mini Munchkin to pick up a few caches. While I was helping MM, Mr SP went forward and found the beasty quick smart! In his excitement of finding the cache so quickly, he didn't realize that he had also picked up an eight legged, creepy crawly! He placed the cache on the car and off scuttled our new friend. Hmm I wasn't going to spend the rest of the afternoon hoping that it didn't enter the geomobile, so I made sure to move him along in the nicest possible way. Plus, it had made a run for the open window closest to MM. Spider free and logged signed, the cache was replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache Bones74

Friday. Mr Slow Puncture ventured out today with Nyssaflutterby and her mini-munchkin to launch a raid on some Sunshine Coast inland-type caches.
We parked Blue Thunder in the vacant spot by the side of the road and Luke set of to look for the cache as mini-munckin required some attention. It was possibly the quickest find in history! First place I put my eyes Took it back to the car, and a spider jumped off and wandered up the windscreen. I went around and closed the front windows as it refused to be rescued. Eventually it was humanely encouraged onto the ground.
The cache was then signed and returned. It is a bit hard to camop this one ue to its size and location, but due to the location, no-one else is likely to be looking at it.
This was the 8th of 19 caches we found on this trip.
Thanks [Blue]Bones74[/Blue], for bringing us here.

Found at 0935. A quick find, as I approached I was concerned by the evidence of a flood wash on the ground but the cache was in place. TFTC.
Out for a drive this afternoon with the family and we decided to grab some caches along the way.
Junior Parko is learning to drive, so was our chauffeur for the day
You can see where this area was underwater in the recent rains.

# 690 - Play Day yet again with IolantheK. We should be able to clean up a few more in and around Caloundra, our regular playground.
I think my log was lost in cyberspace and, not remembering what I had written, I just let it go. Happy enough to claim this one as find...

Out for a spur-of-the-moment play day with Dutchie1950
It's been a fun day out, and now to start heading home, but oh look, what about those three caches over there?!?!?! This was our last for the day as it was nearly dark and we did the search by torchlight We wandered around for quite a bit in the dark as the Terrain rating had us looking wrong. The mozzies weren't too bad, so we kept going, then I looked at a spot I had searched already, just looked a little differently and spotted the container. Took a bit of work to get hold of it TFTC, Bones74.

18:18 I was intending on doing the new cache along this road, and drove past it and thought I may as well keep going to explore this road, got to this area and thought it looked nice, but didn't want to bother as I had something else on my agenda so just turned around and drove off. After finishing the other cache I checked for nearbys - drats! - I was just here before....back I headed, except this time in the dark.
I spent quite a while searching with my phone torch and the car headlights, gps telling me it must be in a certain spot but it most certainly wasn't! About to give up, I went back to the car and pulled it apart until I found my torch that the 2 year old had hidden from me. I put the phone/gps in my pocket, turned the car off and headed in again - pen in one hand, torch in the other, half expecting a slow meticulous search. I went back to the same spot that I had been to a dozen times just before and there it was! Grabbed the cache, signed and returned. Thanks for the cache guys

Back in our most favourite part of the world, we spent Day 12 of our holiday visiting some special places… And of course finding few caches along the way
This was another place we have been many times before & were happy to revisit to find this cache… Another find for Jase after I had already looked there! I think I must have my eyes closed today lol

Found at 1445.
I came here earlier in the day, lo and behold there were muggles parked here! All the way out HERE!
I had a poke around, pretending to be looking at the flowing creek. Too many eyes watching me, so I left.
Came back a few hours later, no muggles, easy find

Out and about today with Konie and this little one was on our hit list. We arrived at GZ and quickly retrieved the cache before returning to the 4x4 beast to get away from mozzies, which really was too bad today.
We signed the log before I we returned the cache exactly where we found it.

After doing the school drop today I headed out to Mooloolah and met up with Mr Wesso. After parking his geomobile near the bakery for our return we headed off to grab a few caches in the area.
It was a nice drive through the valley this morning and parking nearby it was a short stroll to GZ where the cache was soon located. We returned to the geomobile just in case the mozzies decided to have a feed but thatfully they weren't too bad today.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

A new road in Mooloolah for us - great to investigate new spots. Lots of evidence of a flooded creek - now probably almost back to usual levels but running fast.
Great little patch of rainforest around the creek.
Cache high and safe, found promptly with some common camouflage.
Lot of flood debris around the place.
Left Silber-Wolf travel bug.

What a busy day today was. I had so much to do and then the Gods go and add FTF's on top of the pile.
I mean, there was no way that I was going to let some new caches just sit around. So I headed out with the gang to do a little cleaning up.
Wow, GZ is quite a cool and unexpected spot. It really is a rainforest meets the bush. And, with all of the rain I think you might have been able to add a massive flowing river to that environmental list.
The cache was quickly found and maybe just a little to quickly as it could be seen from quite a while away.
Thanks for the few new caches. The cache is in perfect order.

I saw this one get published and thought why not go for the chase. We had been caught up inside due to flooding rain for a couple of days so I was keen to get outside and this was a great excuse. I bundled muggle hubby and geotoddlers into the car and off we went. I know the area and was a little worried that the flood waters may have washed this one away but the co was smart and it would take quite a bit to wash it away. So we are racing there and as we arrive at ground zero we see that we have been beaten to the punch but only just.

#992 @ 3:25 pm. Decided to come down to this one after visiting the other nearby new publication and for the first time in a long time I got to say those five magical words, "I've never been here before". A pretty spot that has seen a lot of water the last few days. TFTC Bones74!

Saw this one come up on the computer and noticed it hadn't been found yet so made a quick trip out to GZ but unfortunately arrived too late because two geocachers were already there - nice to meet you Bossbear and family.
