I looked long and hard, but had no luck locating the cache. The cache could possibly be under structure holding the high part of the stairs, but foliage is almost impenetrable, so stayed away from there, and stayed away from the track-side.Gave up, licked my wounds, and posted this DNF.I haven't given up hope to find, but leaving tomorrow... maybe another look tomorrow before I go.
Quick drive through on my way to Young, Stopped in cootamundra for some food and a few caches, Came across this one and eventually had it in had after some searching. Log signed and returned it back to its original hiding position.
Finally we are on our way to Canberra for the GeoBash. We set up camp in Coota for 4 nights and visited the town and some of the outlying places.Today we spent the day with Robmc, in the morning we collected the three higher terrain caches in Coota and this afternoon we headed to Temora to collect some solved puzzles. We had missed this one earlier as we didn't find the access point initially - don't know why its pretty obvious. Thanks for contributing to our holiday Darzee Di
Its here and you need to climb the metal part to grab it but thanks for the find
Please note there is no need to climb ... photo in log is NOT the cache and I will remove. The cache is camouflage and magnetic.
I have replaced the container with Darzee Di's permission. You should now be looking for a magnetic container in place. Please disregard any other damaged container you may come across; you will not need to climb to get it.
Found it, but suspect not where it was supposed to be. Magnet is stuffed and non magnetic, and there was no log. That has been taken care of, but this one needs some maintenance.
Found it. The Cache is in need of repair and the log is missing from the Cache. TFTC
It was time for the traditional post Christmas road trip. The stockings were emptied of presents, feasts were devoured and great times were had with family and friends. Now to get away!Day 15:After another swim in the mineral pools it was off further south towards Wagga Wagga, making a few stops along the way.The cache is barely holding on here. A small amount of tape attaches it to its holder. No signs of nope ropes here today. Thanks Darzee Di for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. ----------------------------------------------------------The Ballarat GeoTour ends on 4 March 2024! Be sure to find all the caches and earn the souvenir before the tour is archived. The [Farewell Ballarat GeoTour Event - GCAFQ8B](https://coord.info/GCAFQ8B) is on 18 February 2024.Looking for caches to find when visiting Victoria? Why not check out the geocaching lists available on the [Geocaching Victoria Website](https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists/). There are plenty to choose from including all of the previous nominees and winners of the Victorian Cache of the Year Awards.
A loose plan was hatched for a 3-week road trip with RoamingHowie to explore locations in Country NSW wed not been to before and of course, find a cache here and there.DAY FIFTEEN: Crossing back through Temora, this time towards Cootamundra, then Bethungra, Junee and Wagga Wagga. We came to check out the wriggly stick mentioned in the previous log, but wasnt anywhere to be seen today. So we signed the logbook of the cache instead. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Darzee Di ~ ~

It was fitzy_1965's birthday this weekend, so we decided to head out west for a bit of caching.Great weather and great company lead to a great couple of days caching. All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.
JohnoMawbs asked if I wanted to go to Coota today to find this cache and a couple of others.Very tricky at first, but found it!Also had a quick walk across the bridge for the first time! This was my last find of the day!TFTC!
We signed in one of the gaps. This could be a SideTracked cache. TFTC Darzee Di & OtterCreek29.
Found with Goldenwattle, Decrypter and Binliner while on a caching tour of Cootamundra. We parked near the station and walked to GZ. We quickly spotted the cache. Log signed and all replaced and we spent a moment looking at the diesel parked close by, before heading back to the cars and continuing. TFTC.
Day of rest in Cootamundra. Took a walk to the birthplace of Don Bradman, then continued our walk to collect a couple of caches. TFTC

Off for a couple of days caching with BettyBoo3747 and the geo-doggies.
Stayed the night in Cootamundra. Completed a few AdLabs and some odd caches on the way home.
A lovely station here.
Took a while to locate the cache, our altitude was not quite right at first.
Thanks, Robmc.

#19646. Day 3 of a short trip into NSW with Robmc and the geo doggies. Awoke to a very wet and soggy caravan park here in Cootamundra and had thoughts of heading straight home. However, the rains eased so we thought we would do a few caches before leaving town. It was interesting to see water rushing across the roads in the floodways - not used to seeing that.
Loved the large overhead signal gantry and of course the railway station. In NSW they built such grand buildings for the railways. After quite a search we finally discovered the cache but I was surprised to note an old log book as I thought this cache had recently been replaced by the CO. Anyhow our names are in the log book.
Thanks Darzee Di

Not a lot of movement at the Station this afternoon. Went for a wander to the footbridge and found a cache - eventually! SL at 1.50pm Left: vintage hat pathtag #8975 TFTC Darzee Di & OtterCreek29

We had an overnight spot at Cootamundarra at the showgrounds. We have met up with the Snakepiters to continue our journey onto the Mega with.
We followed a caching trail around town which was a good way to explore this area. Certainlt a lot of history on Donald Bradman & Australian Cricket here.
Thankyou Darzee Di for placing this cache.

We decided to take a road trip to Cootamundra for some exploring. This was our first cache in town. It took us a while to locate the container and in the end I found it with a little bit of luck. We hope to bring the kids for a train ride someday soon. TFTC.

This cache is a very clever placement and took us quite a while to sniff out. Thank goodness Shufflehop was on the job. Loving caching in Cootamundra.
Don't know how I missed this one last time. I did look in here, but obviously not well enough. Today went straight to it. Seems very quiet in town today!
Thanks for the cache and the hint.
