A perfect day for some geocaching as there was almost no muggles around and we could search uninterrupted. This was a quick and easy find. TFTC!

Easy find. Some muggles had a bit of a giggle as I tripped over on my way finding it
This was not what we expected, but found easily. Log in good condition.
We moved a whole 60km today from Harden to Yass and are looking forward to the plethora of caches in the area. We were set up by lunchtime, so after a bit of shopping and a quick lunch we headed out into town to do some caching.
We found a variety of caches including trads and multis, as well as completing the Adventure Lab. It was tough going at times with some challenging hides and a few DNFs. Also some high Ts that were beyond us!
The weather was cold with a chilling wind to boot, but better than sitting in the van.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache team.wallace.

A nice and easy find with a great view of the river. Cache is in meh condition but still has a dry logbook. Thanks
Travelling through Yass on a mini road trip from the coast to Cowra for an annual cycling weekend. Didn't know much about the town of Yass and this is my first visit. Used a few Geocaches to take my parents and I to some interesting spots. Walking along the river I went ahead to find this cache. Looked in wrong place but then spotted from afar something I've seen many times before. Lovely quiet morning on a weekday for a stroll here. Thanks.
Out on the trusty treadles (aka MTB) exploring before the sun goes down I thought but good laid plans were abandoned which meant this gal from the mountains saw a remarkable sunset. So. Surprise in the dark but quick bingo moment - nice! Arrived in Yass for a few days enroute to the NNF in Canberra with a few caches on the agenda of course. TFTC and the fun
Ooh, I liked that one. Very clever. View of the river wasn't so crash hot though. If the flora was like that in the 1912 photos of the gully, then I could see it as good river views.
Those photos got me thinking. I could see on the horizon of the top photo something had been written on it. I know a lot of photographers back then would write the date on the front of a photo they thought might be of interest at a later date. I thought I could just make out a "/12" at the end. Isn't it funny how we write dates on things like this log book with just the last two numbers of the year, assuming everyone knows it was 1912 of course . What other date could it be?!
So I really hope in 100 years time when someone goes to write in this cache's log they see mine and say, "Lol (or whatever crazy acronym of the then universal language would mean the same as laughing out loud), was this found in 1922, 2022, or this year? Silly people from the past thinking in small time brackets!"

Needs maintenance. Lid missing. Only a matter of time before the logbook falls out and is lost forever. How will people in 2122 read my log and lol?

Yes! I have avenged my DNF of Oct 2017, how did I miss it then? Thanks for the hide.
In the area doing an AL, this was a straightforward find at GZ with a cool container. Thank you!
Quick find and all safe and secure with a nice clean newish log sheet.
Interesting to note that the last signed log before mine was from dghoffy at the end of 2020. Doesn't seem to quite correspond with the electronic log record.

After a bite to eat we headed out again for another run. This one nearly put an end to our arvo, geoG taking the shortcut down to the cache decided to put her leg in rabbit hole and down she went, were pretty sure legs shouldn't go in that direction! After a bit of check on working parts the very impressively repaired cache was finally retrieved and we all hobbled back to the car. Tftc

Found on a caching expedition out to Yass with sebass19: from 9:30am to 7pm, 51 caches! Gently made out way down the grassy hill en route to GZ; where the quick find was made. Love what Sui and Loci have done with the cache; it's quite fun! There were, indeed, lovely views of the river and cliffs. TFTC team.wallace!
This little terror has been niggling in the back of my mind for months now. I’ve been out there with previous finders, and assorted others (no luck). Every time I opened the app it appeared, a sad face. It made me sad, cross, angry and eventually I ran the gauntlet and decided to do something about it.
Hot glueing a reasonably strong magnet to 2.5m of steel rod (4mm) I headed down to fish for the oringal cache.
My rod wasn’t long enough.
I crafted the finest extension using some manky cord I had in the Ute and a fibreglass arrow I also had (as you do), and returned to fishing.
Colour me surprised ! Within moments the cache was mine! I might’ve airpunched.
Given the squally state of today’s weather, I risked it, and removed the cache from its location, back to my geostudio and got crafting. I’ve snazzed up the magnets, added some camo, and gave it a lick of paint. The logbook is replaced (once the original is dry I will return it) and the whole thing looks a million bucks. I returned it to its original gz within an hr, or so.
I’ll message the co directly with pics of the updates so they’re aware, but the co-ords and hint now hold true once more!
Now every time I see a smiley face on the map I will smile in my heart also.

A morning's caching mission in Yass, to top up my find numbers for the day. No luck here.

Myself and Sui_001 found the old cache that was "lost" in 2016 as per molstaff, winglen and the CO's log! There is also a photo as proof as the same container we found in Farmers 5 log from 2015! Can be seen here: (https://s3.amazonaws.com/gs-geo-images/a881fe94-3797-4583-9c6b-b5ee7e0028a4_l.jpg)
As we found the original cache that was placed back in 2015 I think this is even more impressive than finding the replacement which eluded us today. We were unable to sign the log however as it is not retrievable, assume the magnet got lost, possibly due to the tape coming loose. So have attached photo evidence of this find instead. Coordinates were never updated to the tree either, and the hint still fits where we found the cache, so not sure what happened here!
Thanks team.wallace!

Didn’t find it. I think we found where is was meant to be?? But either way too wet after rain to keep looking around
In town for the weekend for caching. Nice quick find. It looks like the retaining device needs a new one - looks like it might have been cut TFTC.
Tankengine and I had two important caches to deal with today. TE had offered to help me replace a cache I dropped down a pipe on the way here and he had a mutli in Yass to do so he could clear the town out once and for all - well until the next cache is published here anyway.
This cache: Either I’ve shrunk or team.wallace is pretty short. The hint says head high, but I guess it depends where you stand? ; ) Tftc team.wallace!!!

Found by Mary and David at 13:15. A great view which would obviously change over the seasons with the weather. Wonderful rocks and great serenity. Log is sodden and disintegrating. Our thanks to team.wallace.
This geocacher reported that there is a problem with this cache. Needs a new log.
Heading north from the Clearwaters Mega at Queanbeyan. Enjoying the sites of smaller towns & out caching today. Logs signed Coongoola or CG.

After spending the night in Yass I searched for a few caches there before heading to the Mega site in Queanbeyan Not sure that I approached this from the easiest direction but got there in the end. Thanks for another cache team wallace
Caching in and around Yass, we picked up a few caches in the area and this was one of them.
An easy find at GZ, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Good views across the river to where we'd just been on that shady seat behind the tree. Found the cache once we looked at the GPS and stopped randomly checking everything else in the vicinity. TFTC team.wallace.
Enjoyed a walk to this one from near the High School. Found the other cache first then headed to this one. Looked at the wrong structures first - of course - before expanding my view and spotting the cache.
Contacted net is missing its O-ring and log has been damp at some stage and in need of some TLC.
TFTC and for placing here. Even ran into a friend coming the other way

Found while cycling around Yass. Really enjoying the cycling and the scenery thanks
With GreyHams we set off at a respectable but still early enough time with the plan to cache Yass for the day. We both had a number of caches we both needed along the way so made a few detours, caching our way through the still not hot morning.
Between us both we had a number to collect as we drove towards Yass, a few newly published in areas previously cached, park and grabs and a few walks. A very relaxed and enjoyable day, avenged a DNF from way back and added a few more!
The heat in the late afternoon kicked it up a notch but managed a productive day and had fun doing it! Feeling the heat and the long day it was time to head back towards Canberra with a few more caches on the way back. Had just pulled into the driveway when a notification of a new cache came in, perfect timing, tiredness forgotten and it was back out the drive and off to chase down a new cache... funny, but where did that new energy came from!?
Thanks for the cache and adding to the days adventures.
Log was wet and mushy and paper wanted to tear while writing but signed ok with being very careful.

Wow, what a beautiful view and some gorgeous houses, but I can't understand why there are two caches within a metre of each other, so I signed both!
Today I decided to stay away from PTs so I drove out to Yass to see how many smilies I could add to my tally. I had a fabulous day with no DNFs though at times I came close to walking away from the more difficult finds.
Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches for us all to find. My name has been added to all the logs, though mostly as SG. TNLN. .

In the area for training with SES and thought i'd take advantage and do a few caches in the area. A short walk from where i parked and i realised i'd overshot GZ. Soon enough i was at GZ and spotted not one but two caches....not sure if ones been replaced at some time or not. TFTC
7055 Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1105 on another drive to Palmerston. When we read that the container was head high the thought was that will make the find easy. Alas baby must be a fair bit taller then that cause it hit him on the chin. SL Tnx team wallace.
