This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

I will be inspecting this cache tomorrow and will advise, if cache is found it will be kept, if removed or vandalism has occured it will be decommissioned.
Spent awhile looking but checked previous searchers and decided to move on as 2 previous dnf

Thank you for putting this geocache out for us to enjoy. We did not die from tinylemongrass’ driving which is a positive.
9/7/20 1246 pm Found it Thanks for bringing me to this local history area for caching. SL Fairly Easy Find
Log completely saturated. Replaced with temporary log (not waterproof). Needs maintenance.
On New Years Day 2020 we headed out to do some geocaching for the afternoon. This is our 4th cache for the day. TFTC.
Our last geocache for the decade and third time was the charm...must have been too warm on our last visit for the geosenses to kick in. Geodaughter was on the ball and found it quite quickly. Photo snapped, geocache logged, souvenir earned - happy days. Thanks for the cache.
It was really fun to find it being my first one yet. The clue was confusing but cool at the same time. I love doing these, keep it up.
Chasing this cache led me to this parking lot.
But what sort of madness happens on the other side of the fence ? [:o]
Luckily the madness wasn't scheduled for today,
so I could poke about in peace
I found the cache eventually,
but not where it should have been !! [:o]

Staying in Palm Cove for a few days. Went on a drive today from Palm Cove to the Tablelands, including Mareeba and Atherton, and back on Route 52 through Yungaburra, enjoying the sights and picking up 14 caches along the way.
Cruised through Mareeba before heading out of town for two nearby caches, this being the second of the two. Located it reasonably quickly before taking a photo of the nearby termite mound! We don’t have these where we come from! #2602. TFTC.
Greetings from Wellington, NZ.

Amazing, our first Roadtrain, well at least the first trailer of a road train! But we parked right next to an impressively large termite hill.

Quick find heading into Mareeba from Chillagoe, quite busy here but i was able to sit in the car until there was a gap. Thanks for cache.
A very quick find while checking out the town of Mareeba. My father and father-in-law both spent time here during WW2, so we will be checking out the military history here.
On the way to Mareeba we had a quick stop. After a short searching we can find the Cache. It was too wet, so we give a new paper.
Thank you and greetings from Germany send Moorhelmi

Tftc quick find with knipe-raidor but log is drenched so could not write in the log
Log was wet and might need a check to dry out. Found by Geogran, much to the disappointment of the geokids, and her first ever find. Thanks cyclone123 for bringing us out here TFTC SL
Found today on way to mount mulligan, sadly with the rain last night no amount of undercover protection would have kept the log dry. New log required.
Visiting Australian friends from Ohio in the USA, we first visited Granite Gorge Nature park, grabbed a cache there and then moved on to grab a few more on the way to lunch. Fun to find some caches in a new country that now add the furthest south to my repertoire of caches. TFTC.
Found on an early morning walk from the Mareeba rodeo ground thanks
Out for a drive from Cairns with my sister and new nephew. Quick and easy find. TFTC
In Mareeba for 48 hours, using some of that time to add a few more smilies on the board. Easy find, then as we drove back along the road, we saw some one else, b*ms up at GZ, we turned back to meet SueTomUs52. Gave then a hint about one of the caches in town. Great to meet more caches.
Thanks cyclone123
Thanks cyclone123
We have started to travel slowly south towards home having completed our meandering across northern Australia after attending the Red Centre Experience over Easter. Decided to set up camp at Rocky Creek before returning here without the van.
This was the fifth of 6 finds today, 1 DNF. Pa, a friendly but often impatient muggle, wasn't too impressed when I asked him to travel down this road to get 2 more caches. However, it was a quick find and the log was signed before all was returned to the hidey hole.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for us to find Cyclone123.

TFTC. We have been housesitting in Mareeba since early July. In the early days we kept the local caches to fill in some blank spots on the calendar. We now wanted to clear the local caches. While we were out in Atherton yesterday, we noticed that this cache had been replaced. Around mid morning we decided that the two traditionals along this stretch of road needed to be converted to smilies. A quick stop and find. Thanks for the replacement cyclone123.
