Logs
Quickly spotted today. I was looking for something much larger last time. Thanks for the cache wombles and co
Checked right side, right end, left side on the right end, right side on the left end but no luck. Lots of large debris above bridge level though
I just realised that my logging is a little outdated considering I found this one over 6 weeks ago. I needed to get my car looked at and of course they wanted it for hours or the whole day. So, Chamad to the rescue who collected LittleMrTT and myself and we spent the day collecting a few caches. It was a HOT day. We didn't get as many as we would have liked as we were melting like ice-cream.
Out today to continue with my personal challenges and do some caches with Triple Turmoil. Very convenient today as she had her booked in for a service in Caboolture area. We loaded the bikes and a plan was set for a fun day. Things started out ok but then our second venture was a little blocked off, so we had to make different plans. It seems that the people really like the caches in Caboolture, no they really like them so much they regularly go missing. Today I had as many DNFs as finds. Of the caches we found we signed the logs and returned as found or with a little camo. The heat of the day and the constant dnfs was getting to us. So a plan for just a couple more and then time to relax in some air con would be nice. Thanks for the hide here, the hint lead us straight to it.
After attending the anniversary event this morning our group of geofriends continued our search for unfound caches in the area.
Making our way to Gz searched all around and then made the find. Log signed cache returned. That is one sneaky cache.

Staying overnight in the area and after attending a geocaching birthday event, we came by here to look for this cache. Wow, this is a cute tiny cache, and I'm so pleased that hatzofff was on the ball today as she was first to spot it.
Thank you, wombles and co, for placing this cache for our benefit and enjoyment

Wow!!!
Amazing hide. Had us searching high and low. A previous clue about a thorn branch was the tip we needed.
Blends in incredibly well. TFTC

Have been meaning to come here to locate this cache for nearly two years, today I made the time, and spent about 15 minutes searching around bottom of rail support, under bridge, and in every nook and cranny at GZ, then noticed tether, and finally the cache, which I know my MUM had one on a chain around her neck for many years, Thanks, wombles and co, all is in good condition here today
With a couple of hours before work I thought I’d come north for some caching around Morayfield…
I misunderstood the very specific hint (proving hints are not idiot proof) before checking Geepers and soon after discovering the cache…

After attempting to head up the coast, I bailed due to crappy traffic. #6 after work today on a solo outing. TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
It was lucky I was with DisSister here today because my GPS still had me 100 m away when she saw the cache . A nice little area tucked away here. TFTC
Nice short walk through this hidden area up to GZ where we made a quick find. I did manage to snag myself on the thorny vine just above the cache though. Thanks wombles and co
Thank you. This theme made a special needs child very happy
Took some searching but we got there in the end. Thank you

Out grabbing a few caches in this LGA today and it was a quick find when I arrived at GZ. I couldn't sign the log as it was absolutely saturated and I wasn't able to remove it from the cache. I replaced as found. TFTC
Found it! Thank you so much!
It was pretty soggy and couldn’t get the paper out but with the recent rain it’s to be expected.
Thank you

We found this cache on our drive around the area this morning between showers. The log was a little damp but still able to be signed which we did and replaced as found. Thanks wombles and co for this one.
Certainly a classic story, favourite for all the kids.
Around to another spot in this park we've circled a few times trying to find the closest access. This time got to Springwater, then trekked past the houses into the bush access area. Started to get a bit worried when we got close to gz and saw how much debris was over the ground level but then I read the cache description and realised it should be flood resistant and so changed where I was looking. Soon spotted the tiny nano. It certainly was wet and the log too, but I managed to uncurl it and make a mark still.

Gadzooks, i betta log the litle fella.
Ma's (sunshine58) imaginin' things, it was she who found the blighter, in fact.
Let me start at the beginning.
So it was a bright sunny morning,
Much unlike today,
We were down on the northside meanderin' the paths on our electric tredleys, when an odd locked gate stopped our advances, not eighty or so metres from gz.
I sallyed forth and trolled around gz a while amidst the fernery, but couldn't spy the prize in the few minutes i was there swatting the wildlife.
I trudged back up to ma an' the geocycles where we..
..with a sigh, pedalled ourselves all the way around collecting another cache or three in the neighourhood (i even snagged a cheeky al wp) until we discovered the other side of this quiet little foresty enclave.
Somehow i immediately spotted what i could not for the life of me see not a half hour earlier.
I left it untouched for ma to also discover herself moments later.
Crikey.
Log signed we skeddadled back to surburban jungle exploring.
Thanks so much for sharing this secret little ecosystem with us all wombles and all the company.
Sorry for the extreme tardiness.

We came to this area to visit a camping shop, and after the duty was done there, we took a short drive and parked the car and followed a lovely peaceful pathway through the bushland. Plenty of water around at the moment, and sadly a few shopping trolleys also.Looks like go could do with a CITO!
It took a little effort to extract the log even with our small TOTT. The log is a little damp after the recent rain, but still definitely well attached.
Thanks wombles and co

There or not there, we will return to have another look when the mozzies are not so bad
We parked on the northern side of the park and followed the concrete path through to the GZ. Once there the coordinates indicated where we needed to focus our attention.
It took a while to locate the very sneakily hidden cache container.
Thanks for the hide.

Accurate coordinates made this a reasonably quick find . All's good at gz Thanks wombles and co
Daammm... Getting tired to find this one.. One of a kind.. When i find it. I just laugh.. Right end facing the house.. Think smol. Thanks for the cache..
Second time lucky, we came three days ago but couldn’t find.... but after a bit of a search we found it ... TFTC
Not sure how the last finder didn’t locate the log book, it’s inside the container.
Found the little canister, but didn’t see any book. And forgot to bring a pen so photo will have to do.
Looked for about 15 minutes - drove us mad but we found it eventually! Hint: think small
This time it was missing, the ground cover and water level has changed a lot since placement.
Replaced and moved slightly, same spot though.

I’ll check it tomorrow after the restrictions are lifted. It’s had strings of dnfs before and it’s usually still there.
Dnf also about 20 meters away by the river there is a homeless persons campsite :$
Searched for about 30 minutes with no luck. Forgot mosquito repellent and the sun was setting so had to leave.
Finally! Found it! Thanks for the cache. This one taught us to just feel without sight.
Grabbing a quick cache after work before heading back home.
I checked this spot first, but I guess I didn’t look from all angles, so I looked elsewhere, but tried again after not finding it and found it tucked away.

Tftc, this was a good one, was just about to give up, but persavered and soon had the log in hand, woooya
I needed to find a cache to fill a gap in my calendar, so popped out after reading the geomonsters a bedtime story and putting them to bed. A nice quick find, but boy mozzies were out in force.
Thanks!!

I finished work early today and after a bike ride with my muggle friend I decided to go for a ride here and gather some smileys. This was my fifth find out of ten. I found the rest at 2 nearby bike tracks. This one I had to leave the bike track and ride on the road and I couldn't believe my luck as I spotted the cache on my way to gz. Could have taken alot longer. Thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy . My three sons also enjoyed this book. Thanks for the memories
Swooped on Caboolture today chasing green boxes ... quick find once I remembered which one my left is.
Thanks wombles and co for entertaining me at this location.

Tftc!!! Tiny find. Great work! BRING MOZZIE REPELLANT or act quickly to get away from them!
What a very cool little cache! Very easy to find with GPS and the hint. Fairly visible, surprised this hasn't been removed by some muggle kids. TFTC!
