Finding again after it being replaced

Found it after a bit of searching. 9/7/2024.

Replaced the cache and Cito'd the sharps container, a sharps container IS NOT A CACHE. The cache is a bison attached to a tree at about waist height with a zip tie.

As with previous find, found an empty yellow container, nothing tethered, nothing inside. Area filled with spider webs and ants were bustling. If this is not the cache will change to dnf. Didn't have a new log with me to put in, but also didn't want to put one just incase it wasn't the cache.

Well I think so, if it is a yellow container it was left open and no log book I could initially see

I just realised that my logging is a little outdated considering I found this one over 6 weeks ago. I needed to get my car looked at and of course they wanted it for hours or the whole day. So, Chamad to the rescue who collected LittleMrTT and myself and we spent the day collecting a few caches. It was a HOT day. We didn't get as many as we would have liked as we were melting like ice-cream.

Out today to continue with my personal challenges and do some caches with Triple Turmoil. Very convenient today as she had her booked in for a service in Caboolture area. We loaded the bikes and a plan was set for a fun day. Things started out ok but then our second venture was a little blocked off, so we had to make different plans.It seems that the people really like the caches in Caboolture, no they really like them so much they regularly go missing. Today I had as many DNFs as finds. Of the caches we found we signed the logs and returned as found or with a little camo.This was an easy quick find for us today, thanks.

Had a look for this cache today and was unsuccessful. Lots of ants around too.

After attending the anniversary event this morning our group of geofriends continued our search for unfound caches in the area.
Making our way to Gz searched all around and then made the find. 2 for the price of one. Log signed cache returned.

Staying overnight in the area and after attending a geocaching birthday event, we came by here to look for this cache. The hint was a little misleading, but we found the prize after so many eyes were on the hunt.

Out enjoying some socially distant caching from Kallangur to Morayfield… finding 30+ caches this was a huge day for me…

I may have not parked exactly “kosher” but I was off the road… GZ was easy to spot on approach… and thanks to the hint the cache was a nice quick find… log was nice and dry, so made my mark and returned everything as found… tftc…

Only time for one today . This one was tricky to spot but eventually saw it right where the hint suggested . Signed the log and replaced as found

Chasing caches early in the morning and the grass is all damp. Walked under the biggest tree couldn't see anything that was of interest but on walking in a different direction the cache soon appeared. Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC

The hint helped to locate the cache but the log is a sodden wad of paper. I did manage to put a mark on it but it really does need some TLC.

I was still need a “G” for August and I made a note to grab this one when I was in the area next. It was a quick find, but there’s plenty of construction going on at the park, but it doesn’t affect getting to GZ at all.

Another one of the randomly targeted caches we attempted today that we couldn't attempt.
We waited and waited, had lunch and waited some more for the workers to leave the area but in the end we had to move on.

After visiting the green sheep, I guess I needed the answer to this question too...
Parked on the back road this time rather than the main one. Walk across the park, with plovers eyeing me suspiciously but not attacking luckily.
Found the big one, turned around to face the right way accori to the hint and soon had the cache & a nice fresh log sheet in hand.

I couldn’t locate the container so I’ve placed a new one here.

First personal find by our little 4 year old grand daughter. In her words She was “super sited and she put her hands up in the air. Unfortunately the log was too wet n soggy to write on - the lid was on tight so not sure how it’s become so sodden.

Had a big day chasing cache 2 on water 18 on land and 1 DNF. Lots of fun on the water, just didn’t get out early enough. Had fight the tide back. And drive around Burpengary and Morayfield nearly bog the Ute. Had big clean up when got home TFTC Wombles and Co. #1162 D18

After a short search, the cache was in hand.
Unfortunately, the log is soaked and needs replacement.

Guess how much I love you today Wombles?
Last time I was going to try and get this cache, I had to make the decision to leave it due to muggles, but knowing Wombles&Co had recently replaced it, and needing a cache today, I decided in the short amount of time I had today before having to be at a birthday BBQ, to collect this one and another cache nearby which I had previously DNFed but had since been replaced.
Arriving at the other cache, a significant search once again turned up nothing, so I left defeated once more, and headed quickly to this one, knowing my time was fast running out.
Today no one was around, despite the beautiful weather, so after parking the car, I quickly wandered over and began my search. Thankfully I can say I found this one nice and quickly, and added my name to the log.
This book is a lovely book, one I have read many times, both with children at work, and my own children, and the illustrations are lovely.
Thanks for the cache wombles and co. I'm sure you can guess how much I love you!
