This was in the 1st place we looked. Log was full so we replaced it with a new one.
An over night stop here at the showgrounds. We met up with Liz and Bruce & went out together to find a few caches. There are some very clever, sneaky & well constructed caches in the area. Really enjoyed finding the many different types.
Thanks for placing this cache eustace91

Up early to get a few more of the great caches here before having to leave town. This was one we targetted and found. Fav point alloc. Thank eustace91 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
This was a great hide and would have never have found if it I hadn't come across a much larger version previously that was left exposed. I had a fair idea I knew where it was going to be hidden but checking was fun (insert upsidedown smily face here lol) thanks for this hide
Still not sure how we managed to find this one, pure luck really such a tiny one when there probably could have been much better options and the log needs replacing, but TFTC
Did not want to look for it because it smelt like there was a dad animal really close by
Find #1642
We are headed to Scone today, on a weekend of caching, road-tripping and camping. The kids loved doing this last year, so we are beating the same path, filling in gaps as we go and having a ball.
The GPS had us to-ing and fro-ing, and as we were about to call it a DNF, I thought - I'll just check here, and put my fingers right on it. Thanks eustace91 - the log sheet is full, we did scratch a little 737 amongst the other names, but it needs changing.

Found on our way to Scone and the Burning Mountain and Barrington this weekend.

Stopped by the road and started searching. After having found out that it was a nano, there were not too many placed to look in. Eventually we found it, but had problems extracting it since it had gotten pushed in a bit. With the help of some tools, we eventually managed to get it out. Not quite sure we support the idea of nanos in an environment like this, there are so many options for small and even medium sized cached in the countryside. The log is totally full so we had to write over some older log.

We had left this one last night, but realised on our way home that we could easily detour and look for it. Nice views out here!
Thanks

We had driven past this cache the night before because we needed to get out of Muswellbrook and keep heading to Burning Mountain where we intended to camp. However, on our way back home this morning we decided to turn from the main road to look for this one. The location wasn't quite what I expected. We looked around for a minute without luck. Then Toriaz checked and told me it was a nano. I checked a spot I hadn't tried before and found the cache immediately. It seemed like quite a bit of luck. Thanks
First for the day and month and a late start at 11.15 am. Sometimes even travellers have to set aside time for domestic duties!!!
This one took a while and when found was hard to retrieve.
The first time in 2 and a half weeks on the mainland that we were plagued by those pesty little flies!!! It was good to dispose of this one and get back in the van away from them.
No room on log sheet so signed over the top of an older faded entry.
Thanks.

Staying for a few days in Upper Hunter valley, and after some wine tasting it was time for some geocaching in the area. Aberdeen was close to our b&b, so that was the logic choice for the day.
Quite a run down shack was the background of my search which ended successfully.
Thanks for the cache.

At last we found it!! This was our second attempt at this one. SammyJ94 was brave enough to let his fingers do the walking. TFTC!
long grass hot day wasnt risking snake bite but did look pretty good couldnt find
After spending several months house sitting around the Central Coast, Sydney and Bateman's Bay it is time to head back to Queensland.
But I have time to spend an hour caching around Muswellbrook.
I parked the car over the road and started my search.. [^]
A quick find as I have found a few caches hidden like this now, so is somewhere I check quickly.
Thanks for the cache.

A great bit of radio history and a sneaky as a weasel cache! We were having no luck and it was getting dark so we got the torch. Still no good news. We needed to get on the same wavelength as this cache, it sure as heck wasn't broadcasting where it was. Finally the announcement MrsG needed to hear "think I've found it". TFTC eustace91.
Searched high and low with Tattz23 but couldn't find it. We were unsuccessful in finding this one today. Hopefully another day.
I came up with BillHill531 to find a bunch of geocaches on my short list. These were a mix of Cache of the year nominations, a unique reviewer and a few placed dates. We had a really good run, so got a bunch of others as well, bringing my total up to twenty finds for the day, with no Did Not Finds.
Number fourteen for the day. Another nice rating combination for us to find. Parked right on the given coordinates and contemplated moving the car after we could not find anything. We continued searching and finally found the little nano.
Thanks for the tricky little cache!

Found with TOMBI! on the way up to Burning Mountain, stopping at Muswellbrook and Aberdeen, doing some HAVOC nominations and some other select ones. Tricky little one to find. Pitty this important historic building is so neglected. TFTC
**# 13998** Found on our 2016 winter escape trek.
Another cool but sunny morning for a drive around Muswellbrook.
Another good find and not many muggles around today.
I have seen similar before but I looked elsewhere for a while.
Thanks for the cache eustace91,

Except beware doing this one at night, 500m up the road is the entrance to the local prison so this road is highly monitored & pretty much guarantees a visit from the local boys in blue needless to say that the ones we met now know about geocaching! awesome night with Thirls!
Wow great hide, searched for a few minutes in the very hot sun before aha, think I know where it is! A favourite from us. TFTC
took a few minutes then we remembered we had done one similar and there it was tftc
Found with Team-Tonka on a day out in the area. It took a little searching but we came up with the goods in the end. TFTC
out for the day doing the nominated caches from the COTY i have driven past this place plenty of times on my way to holidays etc and never even noticed this building hiding up here on the hill. this was find number 2 for the day and i have to admit it did have us looking a little longer than i expected or like to admit but it was fun none the less. thanks for bringing us to this awesome historic place. TFTC
Congratulations your cache has been nominated in the COTY Awards. Below you will find your nomination tag that you can place onto your Cache page or Print out and place in the cache.
Congratulations on your nomination and good luck.
Congratulations on your nomination and good luck.
Damn that is a sneaky nano! Well placed but I found it today, Thank goodness! Kids enjoyed watching some trains. GZ was pretty much spot on. TNLN TFTC
Not much chance of getting interrupted out here, and very little happening in the building nearby. MrsFish found it straight away while I was looking around. Thanks for a great hide, very sneaky.
Very sneaky hide. Great fun finding this one was right under our noses all the time
Found it on a visit from Perth WA while over in this area for work. I found it in the first place I looked. Thanks for the cache eustace91. I enjoyed learning a bit about the history of the radio station.
We had some unfinished caching business in Muswellbrook but did a few extra ks to grab a few in Scone and Aberdeen as well.
We were back today for another go at this one and a big thank you to the CO for getting it fixed so quick. We can now get our smiley for this one. Thanks eustace91

We recieved a phone call from Team Senz asking if we wanted to accompany them on a caching epedition to the Muswellbrook area, and we decided to go as there were a few that we haven't found. In total for the day we found 19 caches, with some really good containers and locations.
16/19 What an amazing place this would have been in the day, also a weird location for a radio station too. We tried a few different locations but Mr C finally came up the the find

We decided to go for a day of caching up Muswellbrook today with " Team" Chippyroo. We parked in the "Drive way" & got out to have a look. This is an interesting building in the middle of no where. We searched for awhile before finding this one. We eventually found the sneeky little fella. Signed the log & replaced. TFTC
We thought it time we paid Muswellbrook a visit as there were lots of caches there begging to be turned into smilies on our map.
Came here after doing the Rock series. The old building looks a bit sad but has character.
Spent a bit of time hunting around without luck the resorted to re reading the description and previous logs (which weren't any help). The had an AHA! moment and went straight to it. BUT it has been pushed too far in and we couldn't coax it out. No log signed, no find. Thanks eustace91

It was time to make our way back to Melbourne with Team Crackers and Micaparamedic we picked a different way back picking up some caches along the way.
Thanks for the hide,

Catching up on some very late logs.
Travelling home from the QLD mega with The Coffee’s and micaparamedic we were stopping at caches not too far off the highway.
We had a fantastic day with not one DNF although some of the hides were more difficult than others.
We apologise for this generic log but we have misplaced our notes and with over 400 finds for the week we cannot remember them all individually.
We do appreciate the effort of each C.O. in placing these caches for us and others to find and showing us places we not have stopped at if not for this great game.
To save space in the smaller logs we signed as MCC, micaparamedic, The Coffee’s and Team Crackers.

A great days caching on a road trip toward Oz Mega 2015 with Team Crackers and The Coffees. Many differing experiences, some where I walked right to the cache and others where I needed to hunt around a bit. As usual I have enjoyed the various challenges set by the CO's and the fact that I get to cache with friends and am outside in the great outdoors.
Many thanks eustace91 for placing this cache .

Early start 4:00 am heading North up the thin black line for a change, Eventually arriving in Stanthorpe for the Event and a chance to catch up with Geo Friends and tell tales of adventures tall and true. Great little Nano well hidden thanks for the adventure

7108 Out today with the geomum going to the burning mountain in Wingen. After doing it we were caching back the way we had came. We got to this one and I really wonder how it would of been like to work here. Found the cache quickly. As the geomum said that be hollow there. TFTC
Interesting about history, - Excellent hide spot. Signed the nano. Thanks eustace91.
My third FTF thanks eustace91.
This one was sneaky, very sneaky.
This one took a little while to find as I checked all the usual spots but no luck, and then I thought maybe that spot and had the sneaky nano in my hand.
By my GPS the spot was out by 3 metres, but as this is the usual tolerance, not too bad, but worth a warning to future Geocachers.
So thanks for bringing me out to see a little bit of Muswellbrook history.
