We will be leaving very soon to attend the Red Centre Experience Event being held in Alice Springs and have decided we would try to make that event a milestone ... the only problem is we are a few hundred caches short This was the perfect excuse for a quick road trip through Nanango/Murgon/Kingaroy The weather was a little rainy, but surprisingly we remained relatively dry during the day with the worst of the rain occurring while we camped overnight [^]
We managed to locate this cache easily and with our name added to the log book, we continued on our journey.
Thank you Robbie4121 for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

No response from the owner within the last 28 Days and as per my original note this cache has been archived. If you wish to replace it please submit a new cache via [this link](https://www.geocaching.com/play/hide).
this was in my GPS as an active cache and only now when I read the logs I realise it is not. It was a DNF for us, there is nothing there even resembling a cache container, unless you count the largest dog droppings I have ever seen and I wasn't going foraging in that:) How can people let their animals do that and not pick it up. Needs to be checked by the CO.
We decided to head off for a couple of days in the caravan and do some caching while our non geocaching friends were red clawing on the Bjelke Peterson Dam. We loved the rural countryside we encountered and while we were on our rounds we did maintenance as we went given that we were there at gz and sometimes it is not so easy for the owner to attend. Bit larger than what was initinally there. Thanks to Robbie4121 for placing this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the location.
This cache is being disabled because i have not had the time to fix or check the cache regularly. Sorry for any inconvenience.
We were hear after school closed of a Friday and there were a couple of love-sick teenagers smooching under the shelter, so we decided to come back later. When we did we spent some time here, too - but we weren't smooching! (OK - maybe for a minute or two ). But we couldn't find a cache, anyway.

GPS was well out here but after a couple of false starts we located the cache in another little park. Very quiet here today TFTC
This is the first time we have been to kingaroy. We decided to stop in and have a look at joes old stomping ground. We headed to earles park to have lunch and pick up your smile it was easy to retrieve and get back without any difficulty. Tftc and the nice stop.
Geo-hubby headed out to Nanango / Kingaroy area for a two day caching run,
with our good friend Konie.
A great time was had, finding a good variety of hides and caches.

Lots of space here to run around but we concerned ourselves with "dining" on the find. Thanks for another in Kingaroy Robbie4121.
Spending a few days up in the Kingaroy and Nanango districts and places closeby from my place in Brisbane. Due to the number of caches found, I have decided to do a generic log. To all the CO's, a big thank you for bringing us to your area and the many varied caches we found. Thank you for bringing us along the country road. TFTC
Having another annual caching trip to Nanango and Kingaroy with Richmond Lad. Last year we thought we had found most of them but some wonderful COs keep putting out more to entice us back to this lovely region of Queensland. We have driven along quiet , gum tree lined country roads, spotted some peaceful waterways and are becoming experts at stumps!!! Thank you to all the COs who have caches in this area - you are all doing a wonderful job creating, placing and maintaining your hides.
Found at GZ but unable to get log out even with the use of tweezers. Sorry.

Quick find today with us3scouts while out and about with Cub Scouts at the Region Camp. TFTC
Found while visiting the area on a Region Cub Scout Camp. Had a little trouble getting the log out so had to retrieve a tool from the car. We enjoyed sitting in the sun for a few minuyes in peace and quiet then headed off back to the Kingaroy Scout Den. Thanks for the cache. ?
Taking mum on a Mother's Day caching run. Can't say as I've seen a park like this before. GPS not really necessary here, is it? Cache was found safe and dry. TFTC, Robbie4121.
I had to grin at the description encouraging us not to step on any plants - rarely have I seen a park so devoid of vegetation other than the odd tree! DisSister and The Marble made short work of the cache, and with no muggles anywhere, it wasn't bad at all. I imagine this park gets pretty wet after a decent rain! TFTC, Robbie4121. =^.^=
Wouldn't the kids love this park - if there was something there apart from a picnic table. Plenty of space to kick a ball, have a game of cricket though. Thanks Robbie4121.
Finally found some time in the calender to make a maintenance run up to Ficks Crossing
Have driven past this area many many times but never stopped. With a cache in mind we let the hound run free. Well the house next door also has a found, and I swear that I thought that someone was trying to kill it. This is a big dog with a voice like someone is killing in, I honestly thought I was going to have to run over and rescue it.
Found the cache safe and secure. TFTC

After attending the Mega we spend a couple of days at our aunties place at Kingaroy and of course cache while we are here the caches here took us to places we have never seen here although we have visited Kingaroy a few times before, weather was up and down but being from SA it was warm to us lol, i was lucky i shone my torch on GZ as there was a black thing there but this black thing had a nice red stripe on its back, it was using the cache as a rest spot, the cache is there but its guardian is long gone. TFTC
Found at 0834. Having plenty of experience find these little blighters have coming from the big smoke, it didn't take long to find it. TFTC.
Out and about with GrannySmith1947 for an afternoon of caching. We were only going for about 10 caches and this is cache 4.
I should of knew what we were looking for because you showed me at school. I was looking at my GPS when GrannySmith1947 yelled "I found it". I have never been into this part of Kingaroy before and did not even know it was here. Cache is fine.
Took nothing left nothing. Thanks for the cache Robbie4121

Had to come to Kingaroy to check on the co ordinates of one of my new hides as the posted co ordinates were 100m+out Arrived near this park and there was a council mowing person having morning tea so went away do check on min. Came back and he was gone. Walked straight to table and then looked at the posted new co ordinates. to me these are out also. The hint is all you need for this one as there is only one shelter. I had GZ within 1m of S26 32.315 E151 49.371. Signed log YOF as this is what I use on Nano and other small logs to sve space. TFTC Robbie4121

FTF @ 2pm. Hint made it easy, but another lot of dodgy coords for me today. GPSr had GZ 26 metres away. My GPSr said 26' 32.320, 151' 49.369. Over to you, Robbie 4121. Cheers from Bindair Dundat.
