Meant to attend and completely forgot. Missed out on Pi this year. :'(
Sounds like you all had some great Pi.
Sounds like you all had some great Pi.
Quick stop by. Arrived about 1.35; event already in full swing with about a dozen names already on the log. Had to leave straight away to drop Wicm Jnr off in town at 2. Thanks for the event. Will have to have my own Pi on the non-american 31/4/15 or perhaps on Pi Approximation Day, 22/7.
Great to meet some fellow caches, exchange tips amd celebrate pi. Thanks for organizing.
Thanks for organising. Meet some really cool new people. Glad the weather held out!

Thank you to the Huhugrubs for hosting a great event. Always love the south coast.
Arrived just after the photo was taken -that's aok by me . Thank you to Huhugrub for organising the event and to the cachers who brought the pies -sweet and savoury -hoe lucky we were. Found Frenzy near by with the help of a 4 and 1/2 year old geocacher who found easy to squeeze past obstacles to the cache hiding spot. Enjoyed get some fresh south coast air in my lungs after being on a school camp.
Made it to the tail end of the meet up after getting held up by traffic and eggs. This is a gorgeous spot. Thanks for organising the meet up Huhu's!
#239. Nice to meet up with a few more cachers and celebrate a great date. Thanks to Huhugrub for organising. Tftc!
It's a strange weekend, with Friday the 13th, Pi Day, and the Ides of March! Thanks for organising, Huhugrub. Nice to catch up with a few cachers, especially Yosser 9 who brought along a very nice pie from the Gipps Street Deli. Yum!
Thanks Huhugrub for arranging this. Soory we couldn't stay for the photo but our driver had to get back to Tawa by 2.30 Thanks all the same
My 100th cache!
Didn't have time to stay long, dashed in, missed the photo, signed the log and dashed out!
At least I came on my pi-cycle.
Sorry I couldn't stay longer!

As I walked around from Island Bay doing a puzzle cache on the way thanks for organising for the showers to clear and the wind to be quite light!
I would have liked to bring some pie but wasn't really practicable in the circumstances, and the cafe I passed on the way didn't have pies!
Thanks to those who did bring pie, I did get one piece and asked if it "are squared" as it should be in these circles
A good event and also a useful opportunity to catch up on a few south coast caches, unfortunately no time to proceed on to Red Rocks today but I think with so many 4WD around today I would prefer to go there on a Sunday!
Thanks for organising and for an opportunity to pick up the souvenir.
Logged one TB into the event - it was picked up by our overseas visitor so no doubt it will be logged out when he has a chance to do so.
TFTE.

Thanks for a great event. Shame about the weather but am glad the rain held off. Nice meeting u all.
Although I arrived too late for the group photo, it was really great to catch up with everyone and to meet some people new to me. Muggle parents still fail to see the point though....TFTC, happy pi day everyone!
A great turn out and nice to meet a few we've met on the trails, and some new contacts.
Thanks to Huhugrub for arranging.

#600. A great way to celebrate a milestone cache with a bunch of like-minded people. Whole family came to munch on pies, discover a few trackables shared at the event and to meet the regulars and newbies. Hopefully I will get to see more faces from the logbooks at the event next weekend in Petone. Thanks for organising this event Mr and Mrs huhugrub.
Ahhhhhh, another great event to celebrate Pi day! Many thanks for organising team Huhugrub - well done! As always great to see some new faces amongst the usual suspects, swap a few stories, discover a few Travel Bugs and of course - eat pie (brought one with me - Thai curry chicken, and had a wee taste of Lrenz's sweet apple pie - cheers).
Nabbed a few caches afterwards, so a good day all round.
TFTEC!

Managed to make an attendance after all after a cancelled alternative arrangement. Great to catch up with a few cachers again and share experiences. Thanks also to Mr & Mrs Huhugrub for organising. #7670
Weather was looking a bit sketchy but event went well, and delicious apple pie was offered (thanks whoever made it). TFTEvent
Another well attended gathering. Great to catch up with everyone. Thanks for organising. Cheers
Another great opportunity for a catch-up with the usual suspects and to meet a few new faces. Most enjoyable, thanks very much to the huhugrub team for organising!
My third slice of Pi today having already attended both the Manawatu and Otaki events earlier in the day. Weather looking a bit iffy when I left home but rather surprised at how calm and mild it was at GZ. Great to catch up with everyone here today and share tales of wondering and wandering.
Many thanks huhugrub for organising.

#6326. We enjoyed meeting everyone at the event. Thanks to CoopsNZ’s recommendation, we did get our lunch at Patrisha’s Original Pies in Island Bay … yes, two large ones too. Special thanks to those who also brought their pies to share. They were delicious.
Hope everyone had a good time on the South Coast, and happy and safe travels for our overseas visitors.

Arrived here after a party at Junglerama nearby just in time for the photo. Thanks to some very lovely cachers we managed to score an Eskimo Pie ice cream as well (very much appreciated and well enjoyed by Mycro Man). Was great to catchup with the crowd and meet a few new faces. Mycro Man made a "friend" of some tourists nearby whilst playing with his Hot Wheels. Thanks so much for organising and glad weather just managed to stay at bay long enough for the event.
Thank you Huhugrub's for an enjoyable gathering and the opportunity to catch up with old and new friends. A very good location which provided its own entertainment... (along the beach).
It was a very nice and small event. Met some very nice cachers and had some nice chats.. oh and i dropped off a lot of TBs

I was a bit concerned when I saw the Cache Attributes, "no food nearby"! How can you have no food nearby at a Pi day event???
Fortunately this didn't stop people bringing their own pie, and some very nice apple pie was had.
Thanks for running this event huhugrub, great to catch up with old and new cachers.

Arrived just as the event was starting, but was pulled away fairly quickly by my three impatient mini jardises, who were keen to see the Kemi Niko hut (http://keminiko.com/RobinHut) a short walk away. Thanks for organising, Huhus! TFTC
Oops.. Forgot to fill this in on Saturday.. Thanks to huhugrub for organising a fun event with a great turnout. I enjoyed participating in something that only happens once a century.
never been to a geocache event before, so looking forward to this. will need to leave after the photo to get back to an event in the city
Have to drop Wicm Jnr off at an event in town at 2pm, so will be there at 1.30 for a few minutes, or at 2.30 for a few minutes. Either way, looks like I'll miss the photo.
My maths is really bad.. I thought this was going to be a Sunday but now that I have got the right calcuations, I see I can attend.. Look forward to sharing some pie..
Could have come if it was earlier, but have an appointment up the coast at 2:00. Hope it goes well.
Heyho, i'm in the area at that date and will be there to have a PIece of PIe together with you on the PI-Day

Coops team incl. TMCNZ planning to be there. Glad it isn't at 9.26am as many others, as we would've had to miss it for weekend sport!
Recommend a stop at "Patrisha's pies", Island Bay, to collect your lunch on the way to the event. Go for a large one- they are so good you will regret choosing a small one!!
Drat. Would have loved to attend but our oldest geo-kid has her (actual) birthday on Pi day so we're otherwise engaged.
Have fun catching up with everyone those that attend.

What a good idea, I will try my best to attend. Should I bring a tent and Primus to blend in.
Should be able to make it, will be my 100th cache if I don't get tempted into doing any before then!
The GSEL team are always keen on a pie tasting event. We have a special liking for these numbers as well so be there on 3.14 at 1.59. Thanks for organising the event Huhugrub.
Will get there if I can - will depend on what the rest of the family commitments are - weekends are looking crazy over the next month or so! My Pi of choice is a pepper steak one....
First to book in for a slice of the pi!
Suggestion - a pi(e) throwing contest?
At long last an event I can attend - had to miss quite a few for various reasons.
Got.a few caches I want to grab down that way, hope you have ordered radian(t) weather to circle around the area!

Damn, another event that I'd like to attend, but will be away from Wellington that weekend .
