LonePine is up for adoption.
It would be a shame for me to archive it since it is so quiet and such a lovely spot to visit.
If you interested contact me at otherwise it will be retrieved over the school holidays.
Kind regards,
TeamBarnaby
Whilst doing a bush bash with the Forensic Police Services, raising money for the Flying Doctor Service for 2 weeks, found some at Hervey Bay. Then went on to Cania Gorge. And back to Dubbo. DNF for this one, even after a long had look.
Yet another dnf in this area for us, I must admit I didn't feel comfortable searching around this area too long with some funny looks from passing muggles. I sometimes find you either hone onto these hides straight away or come up empty handed. It was the later for me...
We live around the corner from the cache and always check it out - I haven't found it for the last few weeks, think it might have gone missing
Nice and easy, there was some of the cache contents laying near it so we put them back and camo'd the cache a bit

Sat and had a look at the view while some people went past then found the cache. All the ducks thought I was going to feed them - was sorry to disappoint!

It would NOT be right to ignore all the caches en-route! LOL ...
Day 2, Tamworth to Orange.
Our 43rd cache on this trip.
A nice quick find by Geo-Pop.
Geocaching rocks!
Left our mark & replaced as found.

Found it .a nice place to have a peaceful lunch ,a nice walk and watch the ducklings
What a pleasant location, we would love to live in the area, next to the lakes, but we noticed that the houses on the lake front were display homes.
The cache was located quickly with the updated coordinates.
Thanks for the hide TeamBarnaby.

Can confirm the accuracy of previous loggers alt coords. I got to GZ with a few muggles about. I sat on the rock while waiting for them to leave. Then turned and began searching. The cache was in the first placed I looked. Woohoo! TFTC.
The co-ords are a little out on this one, this makes finding a cache a bit harder especially when you need to be in stealth mode. With the mixture of water and warm weather the places we place our hands that may have wriggly sticks in them needs to be reduced as much as possible. We will include the co-ords that worked for us. SL TFTC
A not so quick find a few muggles about playing soccer, a couple muggles fishing, and a few more on bikes - looked had a sit and watched the fishers catch 2 fish - gave up - got to walk away and there it was, spotted just the edge of the container carefully retrieved SL then replaced as found TFTC
Found it. Took a bit of time. muggles everywhere, popular spot. geo-partner found the container as we were about to walk away. I had to keep watch as he retrieved cache from its hidey hole. Signing duties done. back to watching while he replaced. TFTC

Today was another nice day for 'caching on our visit to Dubbo.. We started off at a random cache and then navigated by using the "next closest" method to end up logging 13 caches (and DNFing 4).
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Grabbed Trackable: " Arted123's Travel Racer Bug I Be!".
Thanks for the hunt,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

This is our 2nd day in Dubbo. So many new caches since we were here last.
Todays outing was like a tiki tour heading around many of the towns top spots. We had my 85 year old mother come along with us for an outing.
Thanks for placing this cache TeamBarnaby

Lovely looking location, but to be blunt - it smells. A nice flood to change the water would be good. Not sure if the cache was meant to be wedged, but it had fallen through so I made sure it was covered before we left. TFTC
A very pretty place to visit early on Saturday morning. It did not smell as good as it looked, but who cares when there is a cache? Dodged the man checking the lighting system to grab and replace the cache. We made sure it was covered in its hiding place which is probably not where you left it. Thanks for showing us more of the new Dubbo and for the cache.
Found straight away. Almost out in the open. Have hidden a bit better than exposed. It might be worth checking its in the right spot. Tftc
Decided to give this one another try. Found it quick and easy with Gangstella. I got so close the first time round but didn't expect it to be so far away from the original coordinates. Thanks for the cache. Looking forward to finding more from you.
Another short walk took us to GZ, where it looked as though we could be there a while, I hate rocks! However, it did not take long to spot a telltale sign. Thanks for a good hide, nice location too.
Nice little hide! Haha it was hard to retrieve as well due to the wearer being rainy!! Tftc!
A great little park with lots of water fowl playing! I came by right on dawn to avoid potential muggles, and give me time to search, but the new coords are spot on! I sat to read the cache description again, and for no particular reason moved something, and guess what was underneath it!!! This quick find was Karma for all those times I have spent way too long looking in places like these! Than an for the cache!

Day three of my roadtrip with Jamin Appleford started at a terrible roadside stop just North west of Orange, after a night listening to trucks roar past, we continued making our way north towards the 2015 Mega event in Stanthorpe, QLD with Tamworth being our target for tonight. The main caches I wanted to find were ones that helped me to qualify for "The Well Travelled Cacher Challenge" in Moe.
We were in town playing some ingress and I checked the caching map and there was one cache just 100m away. My phone was playing up and sending me elsewhere, but we soon worked out where the cache would be....
Thanks to TeamBarnaby for the cache. TNLN

Continuing our road trip to Stanthorpe for the Oz Mega. Stopped here due to the D rating. Had the cache in hand after widening the search area and looking at the hint.
8m from GZ but findable.
Pleasant location. Back to the car now.

Arrived at GZ which was a bit off from the rocks though for us today. Went to the rocks and started the torch (a super strong torch worked well). Went all the way up to the picnic shelters, then back again. Got back to where we started and were about to give up when we spotted the elusive sucker when we were in line with the end of the wall.

QLD Mega trip 2015 with Sol de Lune. On this almost 400km road trip we drove from Canberra to Stanthorpe caching in all the towns along the way with mostly great success. Around the Mega there were heaps of caches to be done including a few power trails. Despite the weather we got all of the planned caches done.
On day one of our trip we headed from Canberra to Dubbo. The caching was in the second half of the day at small towns and around Dubbo itself. Mostly it went soothly. The developments in this part of Dubbo look very nice. Thanks.

Found with Albida33 on the way to the Stanthorpe Mega......so please excuse the generic log.
The cache was found without any issues and the log was soon signed....then back in the car and off to continue our travels.
Thanks for the cache and adding to the fun of our Mega trip.....

Yeah, nah...I've got nothing. Tried in many likely spots over a large area and on both sides of the nearest park feature but no luck.
Wow, talk about a high muggle area! Finishing work late, I thought everyone would be at dinner, but no. Tried casually walking through GZ and back, but couldn't stop to look properly as someone was perched directly opposite the area the whole time. Will try again when darker perhaps. So not posting as DNF just yet. I hope the co-ords are right.
