Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to Beanslayr for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

Thanks for the cache Beanslayr, camped at Brooke's Cutting last night on my way fear around about route on my bicycle into Alexandra for a coffee bouncing off Caches as I go. Regards from Victourer
DNF - spot where it is likely to be is still there- but it’s not
Searched for a while and definitely not there
Searched for a while and definitely not there
Found the stump where this cache was likely to be, but alas, no cache pretty sure it's gone.
We still spent a good 20 mins checking other spots but really there's no where else it could be considering the hint and all.
May have been washed away with recent weather?

A lovely gentle Spring day and a Sunday meant that the muggles were out in force. frmen1 and I really didn't expect the place to be that popular. Found quickly between walkers/cyclists/runners. TFTC
Last find for the day after lunch in Alexandra and heading back on our e bikes to Yea. TFTC
Our bad luck with bridge hides is broken.
This one was way out in the open, surprised it hasn't been muggled

Was an easy find. Tried my best to re hide again as it was very obvious. Cheers
I had a look at the bridge on last Friday, when I was walking with friends. But I came back today in the car and added myself to the log. Requires care!
Having packed up camp and about to head home I grabbed this nearby cache. Not where I first thought it would be but spotted it from the trail.
Thanks Beanslayr for the cache.

Great to get a few days off before Christmas to just escape and chill. The email inbox will be over flowing no doubt….. oh well. Went out on a little adventure with Trailstevo to collect a number of cache that have eluded me and I never have time to stop when passing though. Left home at 6am and made our way to Yea for an early morning coffee, YEA!! Did some homework at the local fossil Earthcache and proceeded to make our way along the rail trail stopping for a number of short walks collecting smiley faces as we go. At one point I found myself accidently driving down the trail, but wasn’t brave enough to turn that into a major event for the day. We continued on to Yarck, and the down to Alexandra for an Egg and Bacon roll and the second coffee of the day. 10am now. WE had been collecting clues for a local multicache which has now made us do a detour and collected 5 unplanned cache on that route….oops. Then back to the plana and we made our way to the Maintongoon Bushland reserve for a bit of puffing and blowing up the hill. So many grass seeds! Friggen things! Will have to mow my boots tomorrow! Then one last stop at the look out across the lack and back home for 2pm. Was a great little adventure. Thanks to all the CO’s for the fun. Some great cache in this area, we thoroughly enjoyed it.
As a member of TeamOZCAT logged in this cache, I am now logging as an individual predominantly to avoid any mistaken/unnecessary revisitation.
Under groundspeak guidelines, this logging is acceptable as I was indeed at Cache GZ in person in recent times. However, all cache owners have the right to delete logs as they see fit. Usually done to "Armchair loggers" or inappropriate texting.
If any cache Owner/s have questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact.
TeamOZCAT logged finds when both Karen and Reg logged as individuals. This logging is exactly the same, only in reverse. Again, groundspeak acceptable.
For an unspecified period of time TeamOZCAT are no longer cache searching but remain active in our cache management and maintenance.
I sincerely thank all CO's and wish you all the best in your endeavours. Cheers Karen

Many cache owners are already aware: As per Groundspeak guidelines, I am claiming find because physically found under TeamOzcat. I undertake this not for disinterested statistical purposes, but because of inability to revisit this cache, and/or because it's so damn confusing when viewing the local district geocache maps. I sincerely thank all CO's for time and effort in placement of their caches. Cheers Reg.
Heading back from Mt Buller we needed to get back to Alexander to top up on meat so we figured we’d grab a cache or 2 , love these back roads really shows off the country life
Cache was out in the open so we placed a cammo over it

We're staying in Taggerty and spent the wet, overcast morning driving around checking out the area. When we got home this afternoon, the sky was blue so we quickly grabbed the mountain bikes and came for a short ride along the start of the Great Victorian Rail Trail.
Thanks for find #1447

It wasn't the spiders I was worried about
It was the joe blakes !!
I've seen two already today
So stomping was in order here.
And many stomps later I finally found the cache
Nice spot !!

Day 7 of our annual caching blitz, decided to start early as it's going to be a warm one but still didn't beat the keen muggles out on the track, signed between bikers. Tftc
Out on a bit of a tour so decided to see what we missed by being away for the mega. Some searching to come up with the cache. Thanks
Alexandra Day 4 Final Day
Hubby went out on his bike in the afternoon & found this cache.
A circular trip around the outskirts of town. Found some great caches, saw some amazing views over the surrounding countryside.
Todays weather was much cooler just perfect for caching.

Today we rode the Great Victorian Rail Trail from Mansfield to Alexandra which provided the opportunity to seek out 14 geocaches of which I found 11, not being willing to spend more than a few minutes in each search. This cache was a straightforward find, being more or less on the coordinates and uncovered. I left it hidden under branches and leaves. Thank you Beanslayr for installing and maintaining this cache.
Time for our wonderful Alexandra Mega Adventure to come to an end.. but not without us grabbing a few more caches as we meander our way home!!
Such a wonderful experience with more than 105 finds, and some milestone challenges achieved.
Glad to have grabbed this cache today. Such a beautiful spot! TFTC Hunting today with Minniek, darkonas delights, b0tmun, cryp1, Death_Killer, my_name_jeff and lovetherabbitohs (all logged as Team Goulburn or by individual name).

Out with hevwalker for the day, taking in the scenic parts of Alexandra.
It was another humid day, so we trudged the 30+ metres to retrieve & sign the cache.

Time to head home after attending the Alexandra Mega 2017 but caching on the way out of town was much more important. As one of my geo-kids told me.....it took us over 2hrs to go 15kms! Ended up with 105 for the weekend which got me to double my cache finds from last year....so happy with that result.
Logs signed as either minniek or part of Team Goulburn. Quick find here today then a super quick for lunch before the flies took over.

The logbook says something different on it though, not the name of the cache?

Always love a good game of bridge.
Found as part of my 2017 Alexandra Mega experience. This cache added to the fun and enjoyment of my trek to the east and back from Adelaide. While there were a few thunder storms, there were mainly clear skies and I never saw a snake! [^]
Thanks to Beanslayr and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!
