Logs
Based on recent log/s it would seem this cache has been abandoned.
As the CO did not archive this cache themselves - see the Help Centre article [**'Archive a geocache'**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) it has been done for them.
If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Georubbish.

Don’t pay any attention to the hint or coordinates as they are not accurate as the owner isn’t active anymore I don’t think. Read the log by Riddell for a hint if you need it. Thanks Riddell for replacing this one as well.
Suscoe decided to head out to the Maffra area today.
Another delightful late Autumn day with some sunshine, but a cool breeze to keep us company.
What beautiful countryside and we enjoyed our travels.
Thanks to Ornursie79 for this hide.

Came back to check this one since our DNF here.
Nothing found anywhere so we simply replaced it at the end of the guard rail with a black mint tin.
Eastern end, South side.

Try S 37° 49.418 E 147° 04.587 - on the other side of the road about 20m away in a more obvious location.
Disheartened by all 2021 logs saying it could not be found. Had a quick squizz but no find.
We were disappointed to see that both guard rails on this end have been completely replaced.
They are brand spanking new. Even the vegetation has been cleared and only dust to be seen.
We think that this one has been cleared away with the workers.
CO may need to check if in fact it’s still there.

read logs checks railings both sides and could not find it, down visiting blue pools for a few days, couldnt leave a diamond
After looking at some previous logs and using geo senses on where it was likely to be, the cache was found 21m from where GZ was showing.
After having moved on to a new camping spot this morning, we headed out to do a caching tour of the Maffra and Stratford district with ilook4geo. It was overcast and cooler but no rain happened till late afternoon and then it was very light.
We found a variety of caches and some took longer than others to pinpoint. This one was a successful find, but we had to ignore the GPS as the cache was some distance away in a traditional hiding place. Log was signed, all was replaced as it had been found.
Thank you to Ornursie79 for this cache placement.

Out on a caching hunt with goingplaces2 while staying nearby. Found an assortment of caches and added both names to each log that was located. It was a good day with more smileys added to the tally. GZ was well away from reality. TFTC.
Spent a good 10-15 minutes looking for this one. Thank you for everyone else’s comments it actually helped and felt so obvious when we found it!
Returning from day out at Dargo. The last for the day, found in likely spot not where our gos had us. Tftc.
Having visited Freestone Creek further upstream earlier this afternoon, we tried picking up a few more caches in the area on the way home. So much for a quick drive by on our route home! The coordinates put me at what seemed a most unlikely place. My first assumption was that it would be at a more obvious location not far away, especially considering the hint. I spent about ten minutes searching where my finding device was telling me to look. The geopartner eventually got out of the car and went to where he thought it would be. He often doesn’t take heed of the GPS. At the second place he looked he found what we were looking for about 25 m away from where I was. I’m not sure if my device was wrong or the published coordinates were. I’m glad we found it.

I almost lost the tin by pushing it back too far rather than pulling forward Haha

Out and about exploring the area, we've found caches, the odd winery, and generally had a good ole time.

The coordinates are definitely a bit off, but we went with name and found it. Put the log in a new ziplock bag. TFTC.
As per earlier comments, co ordinates a bit off. Searched in common geo spots, found it pretty easily!! Nice cache
GPS played up a lot but with some searching we soon came across it . TFTC.Jayne and Glenn
Checking out Freestone Creek Road as a way to get through to Dargo, but in all honesty it has nothing going for it.
This was as the name suggests, a driveby in a familiar hiding spot, which made retrieval easy and we were soon on our way.

Found this one but it was nowhere near the posted coordinates - try on the other side of the road about 20m away in a more obvious location. (Try: S 37 49.418 E 147 04.587)
Found after a search around, watch out for the dead wombat, he's a bit smelly poor thing.
B of O has posted some new co-ords in the previous log which should be helpful.

It was so nice to get out and score a few caches today. Geokid wasn't too keen to begin with, but since it's Mother's Day he sucked it up
Like others, realised quickly that it couldn't be where coords point and went for the obvious place. Had to give it a fair twist to get it open, but the contents are still intact.
Last cache for the day,

Just like others we found this 25m out from gz. Trust your caching instincts. Tftc
Just happened to be passing thru the area, what are the chances of finding a cache! Wish I knew where my caching buddies were, I miss them!TFTC
In the area for work and had 20mins to kill. Cache time!! Did a brief check of the logs on this and so ignored my gps and went for the obvious spots. Good thing too coz I would've been about 25m away! Had a cursory pint then found it! Cool container! Cache in very good nick although apologies to the next finder because I may have been over zealous in returning it to its hiding spot in my hurry to act normal before a car zoomed past. Thanks for the cache!
Found this one for my 300th....yay! Nice easy driveby after reading previous logs. Co-ords were quite a bit out. Cute container. Tftc.
Found with Mansgirl on a caching couple of days. Co-ords way out. Think bridge magnetic. Thanks.
Quick find - only because we read last log and thought of a typical caching spot - tflc - co ordinates out go with instincts
Found this like the other comments said. On the other side of the road and about 30m from the GPS co-ordinates
The coordinates seem to be about 35 meters out. After a look around a bit more we worked it out.
Left a Travel Bug. It only just fitted in the cache.

We started this one by going to GZ... with no leaves on the trees and cow tracks etc. everywhere easy to see it wasn't there. Widened the search and eventually found this cache 30 metres away - and the wrong side of the road. Sorry we didn't get updated co-ords for you

After a fantastic ride at the Coonawarra Trail Rides we picked up a few GZ. A beautiful winter's day well spent!! TFTC!!
Coordinates out however after widening the search had cache in hand.

Today I had one of my most enjoyable and adventurous days of caching to date. There were so many highlights to the day which included 2 FTF, another D/T loop completed, finding the oldest unloved active cache in the state, 4WD up in the Alpine region, caching in the snow and to top it off the weather was absolutely perfect.
Jacko83 and I had planned for today, to find the oldest unloved cache in Vic, 'King of the Castle', located about 40km north of Sale in the Alpine National Park. On the way back into Sale we stopped by here to find this cache. It took a bit of searching as the coords were off but we did find it in the end.
Thanks for the hide.

Found after a huge day hiking in the snow with quasat3671. Took some time as coords way off. Cache found on sign side of the road. Thanks for the driveby!
Coordinates a bit off but found it anyway, great snake weather so a quick grab and sign and we were on our way!
Found while enjoying a beautiful morning on the bike. Co-ords a bit off for me but an easy find none the less. TNLN Thanks for another one.
Co ords seemed out on this one which saw us about 20 metres from the prize. Luckily geoteen never listens and took the Geo pup elsewhere and found it! TFTC
Found Saturday afternoon with Mezza74 & D@geo.
The GPS was a bit off the mark.
But D@geo soon found it.
Thank for the hide Ornursie79

*FTF* Finally got some time to do the driveby, coordinates were out for me so after not having much luck I widen my search and finally found Santa in a regular hiding place and it is not even Xmas! I was very surprised to see no names in the log as it has been published for a few days and is not out of town too far. TNLN TFTC Ornursie79
