Nothing to find here that is not burnt, looks like this was burnt recently again, found rocks in the remains of a tree, but nothing else.
I had a pretty good look at and around GZ, concentrating on structures. There were several likely places but the recent fire through here has burnt everything. At least I didn't have to worry about blackberries, they were all gone. It may have been under some of the rocks, but there were too many to check. The concrete skippy at the nearby gateway fooled MrsFish for a while, she wondered why it was so still.
DNF at 11:50 AM.
We searched on both sides of the road for about 30 minutes. On the side of the mill there has been a burn off, so we wonder if the cache has been incinerated, however we could not find any evidence of melted plastic or trinkets anywhere.

We had a really great weekend camping/caching in Chichester last weekend, I had the Bucketts Way half in mind as a way home should the time be available. It wasn't, so today we decided to drive and cache our way to Gloucester. We had a great day, noted a few places to come back to, and others to set off from in the future.... only 1 DNF too.....
We purposefully took the long way into Skippy's today, following Booral-Washpool Rd much longer than we needed to.... it doesn't feel like a worthwhile caching day without gravel roads? We arrived at GZ to find a fair few muggles about at the mill. GZ was located a little further up, and the cache found easily. We dropped in a couple of pirate coins and set off. Thanks DropBear11

We drove up to Gloucester today to cache on the Bucketts Way. We found 9 caches, to get our total to 499, ready for 500 next week!
Our coords were quite a few meters off today - wind was blowing strongly. But a little common sense yielded the prize. Interesting about the mill, and there were lots of skippies around. TFTC.
Grabbed this one on our way through as we are up here Cole ting some of the grand father caches. TFTC

A quick find on the way back to Newcastle after lunch in dungog. A fun stop although feel safer in winter than in summer ha ha TNLN TFTC
A quick cache, or as quick as it can be getting down a slope trying to avoid the bit at the bottom in case the innocent looking grass was hiding some sloppy mud....which was all for nothing as it wasn't. Great big cache for the kids, thanks DropBear11.

We had a sinking feeling as we nearer this one, that it would be a nano on the old machinery. But, to our relief, it wasn't!
Thanks

We stopped to turn the car around and I saw the machinery at the entrance of the property and I thought, Oh no! But it wasn't anywhere near there. Instead, we got out the car further up the road and I made an easy find. Thanks
The third cache on day two of my northern road trip with bikerbuddy and Toriaz.
A short side detour for an easy find. We almost got muggles out, but the neighbours' kids were just far enough away and busy playing.

The family had a trip planned to Gloucester to do some camping. I decided this was a great opportunity to grab some geocaches so I decided to join them in the hope of cleaning out Gloucester and finding some geocaches along the way also.
This one was a bit out of the way but with a couple of geocaches within drving distance there was no way I wasn't going to attempt it. As I drove down the road I found myself day dreaming about things and then suddenly noticed I had driven past the GZ. The next thing I noticed the property that is next door to the GZ had some people out working in the backyard. As I drove past they were keeping a close eye on me, so I decided to drive down the road further before returning.
When I turned around and drove back to the GZ the people were still in the backyard. After coming all this way out here I wasn't leaving with anything less than a smiley! I decided I would still stop and search for the cache. Thankfully GZ was out of sight of the men and I was able to search freely (although worried they would comeo ut and ask what the hell I was doing on their fenceline!).
I followed the GPS but the co-ords didn't prove fruitful for me in this situation. I clicked in the geosenses and soon spotted the hide a few metres away. I took the log out and signed my way into history before placing everything back into place and getting away unscathed. Thankfully the farmers didn't prove curious today and didn't spot what I was up to.
TFTC Cheers

Actually Opal Girl 3 signed it found 27/2/15, when it was published @ 1109, 2/3/2015!!!
After a drive of over an hour and a half I pulled up off the road and noticed a couple of people conversing in the nearby property. Turns out that one was opal girl3, but didn't have a chance to chat. As my previous car came in CLOSE contact with kangaroos / wallabies x 3 times I was cautious on this drive as well, and even saw a kangaroo further down the road. Then there was another in this property!
It didn't take too long to spot the hide. No crawlies seen. Cache dry, intact, and WELL stocked.
Just left a 'Correct Site Marker', surgical marking pen.
Will add a book mark for the FDF Challenge.
Through for mileage: 12-12-12 Multi Event - Auckland, New Zealand; 2014 Geocaching NSW geocoin; 3Brothers-NSW; Auckland NZ '13; Brausefass Lifesaver Geocoin; Bridge2Bridge Travel Ingot; Bushmaster Travel Bug; Cache Critters - Baa, Neigh, & Oink Geocoins; CII-35Z; CITO - Upper Swan, and Beyond; Discover Me & Animals: GCookie; family travel; G Cookie Earth Cache 10 Year Celebration Coin; GCookie FIZZY coin; Grahame Cookie t-shirt; Hello Cocky TB; IconicBridges2012; Kengu; NZ Mega 13; NZ Mega Auckland 2013 Signature Trackable; Oz Mega 2014 GCookie; Pink-Floyd (Australian show); Rhinoceros Geocoin 2; thank you- moliva; and Transaustralia.
TFTC DropBear11, and that is my FTF for March 2015, so I won't feel that I have to do anything as crazy as what I did after this (went up to TP3625).

Sorry cookie opal was definitely the first to find on the day of publishing she just got the dates mixed up. What I find insanely annoying is that you had about 25 trackables and didn't leave one for the next person to find. Please play fair especially if you are going to be so picky about other players.

Good cache, just watch out for blackberry thorns as there's a few stray ones. I have left a treasure for the next finder. Good luck
