Definitely is a panoramic view. You could just sit here relaxing and watch the day go by. TFTC CleverMonkey.
Found this one out on the open, so put it where I think it goes. TFTC - left a sticker - yes that's a boxer boxing, you're welcome. Also, I'm my head, he sounds like Jason Statham.
Found with LittleBoss2 and Geo the puppy as we head to a weekend in Mansfield. I've driven past this too many times. Thanks again Clever monkey
More fabulous view on a clear day. Thanks to whoever replaced the container so that it can continue to remain in play.
Off to Alexandria to do some maintenance on the cemetery caches with BettyBoo3747.Collected a few AdLabs on the way, and the occasional traditional.A lovely view of the hills and town from this crest. Thanks, Robmc.
We are visiting the area from South Gippsland for a few days of caching and exploring. Found quickly and all in good order. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC
Thanks for the Cache Clever Monkey, we camped at Brookes Cutting. This morning I took the bicycle for a spin and found myself on this Knoll. After enjoying the view I set about the important business of finding treasure. The X on the map was true and I relished the find which was in wonderful condition. After hiding the container I continued to the top and was rewarded with a northerly view.Regards from Victourer
We were travelling homeward after a holiday in Beechworth with family.
It certainly is a spectacular vista from here. Thanks Clever Monkey.

The views are certainly spectacular here. A pretty drive in on the back road and an easy find. Thanks Clever Monkey. ??
The views were magnificent from this location. I took a couple of pics and then headed for the cache️
Wow. Great view of the range from here. What an awesome spot. Thanks for bringing us here.
It’s a camping (long) weekend and we are staying in Alexandra on the banks of the Goulburn River.
This cache was only down the road from our base camp so I made the quick dash to sign the log before collecting our meat and bakery orders for tonight’s big BBQ feast.
The views were magnificent from this location. I took a couple of pics and then headed for the cache.
The container appears to have been replaced as it is in good order and the cache secure.
Thanks Clever Monkey for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Kids found this before we had a chance to even get out of car.
What a beautiful view, definitely worth coming too.
Lid is broken and log is damp but able to sign.

Found under disabled status after we took the wrong road.
Some accidents are quite advantageous scoring a smiley and a magnificent view from my bad navigation.
Thanks Clever Monkey for placing this simple hide that offered up such great views. [^]
Sorry I didn't have a replacement on me. The container has seen much better days but the log was still signable.

Hi there Clever Monkey,
One or more logs indicate that this cache appears to be in need of owner intervention, so it is being temporarily disabled. This is to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache are investigated/addressed.
Whilst it is recognized that as a result of the current Covid-19 situation, it might not be possible for a Cache Owner to just pop out and check on a cache straight away, we still need to know that you are on top of the issue. Caches where the cache owner does not currently feel it is safe to maintain will not be archived in the normal time frame, as long as there is some indication from the CO.
**You do need to respond within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this cache. Please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What you should do now:-#
- Should you feel it safe for you to maintain and address this cache now, AND your regional Health and Governmental authorities allow it, please feel free to do so.
- **Alternatively,** what you need to do is place a 'Write Note' log indicating an expected date when you you hope you might be able to attend to the issue/s.
**The Write Note log should be placed within 14 days.**
#Please Note#
When a Reviewer next looks in on this cache, if there is no acknowledgment from the CO as requested above, the Reviewer will assume the cache has been abandoned and process accordingly.

Found with tassie expat while exploring this nice area, doing the backroads. Nice view. Tftc
frmen1 and I were debating as to how far we could get up this road as it is marked No Through Road. Guess what! You can get through, just not in a 2WD at the moment. Great views from gz. Alas the lid is smashed...whether it was the weather or too heavy replacement of cammo, not sure. Contents are dry. We did not bring replacement containers on this trip, sorry. TFTC
The promised views were all as good as promised. Quite high up here. As mentioned before, the cache container is broken (lid smashed) and not weatherproof. Needs a new container. Also, someone had left something sticky inside (food?) which had gone all gooey and revolting. I got rid of that stuff.
Another day in beautiful country Victoria exploring with friends. today we focussed on the Alexandra and Eildon area with lots of geocaching stops.
Nice drive and certainly a nice vista for this geocache. TFTC

#4363 We had rolled into the Alexandra area after lunch in Yarck for some caching fun. Always enjoy visiting this area. We started with some elevation and views on this cool southerly breezy day. No issues retrieving the cache here and some cool views to soak in before we made our way down again. TFTC CM.
Great to get a few days off before Christmas to just escape and chill. The email inbox will be over flowing no doubt….. oh well. Went out on a little adventure with Trailstevo to collect a number of cache that have eluded me and I never have time to stop when passing though. Left home at 6am and made our way to Yea for an early morning coffee, YEA!! Did some homework at the local fossil Earthcache and proceeded to make our way along the rail trail stopping for a number of short walks collecting smiley faces as we go. At one point I found myself accidently driving down the trail, but wasn’t brave enough to turn that into a major event for the day. We continued on to Yarck, and the down to Alexandra for an Egg and Bacon roll and the second coffee of the day. 10am now. WE had been collecting clues for a local multicache which has now made us do a detour and collected 5 unplanned cache on that route….oops. Then back to the plana and we made our way to the Maintongoon Bushland reserve for a bit of puffing and blowing up the hill. So many grass seeds! Friggen things! Will have to mow my boots tomorrow! Then one last stop at the look out across the lack and back home for 2pm. Was a great little adventure. Thanks to all the CO’s for the fun. Some great cache in this area, we thoroughly enjoyed it.
As a member of TeamOZCAT logged in this cache, I am now logging as an individual predominantly to avoid any mistaken/unnecessary revisitation.
Under groundspeak guidelines, this logging is acceptable as I was indeed at Cache GZ in person in recent times. However, all cache owners have the right to delete logs as they see fit. Usually done to "Armchair loggers" or inappropriate texting.
If any cache Owner/s have questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact.
TeamOZCAT logged finds when both Karen and Reg logged as individuals. This logging is exactly the same, only in reverse. Again, groundspeak acceptable.
For an unspecified period of time TeamOZCAT are no longer cache searching but remain active in our cache management and maintenance.
I sincerely thank all CO's and wish you all the best in your endeavours. Cheers Karen

Many cache owners are already aware: As per Groundspeak guidelines, I am claiming find because physically found under TeamOzcat. I undertake this not for disinterested statistical purposes, but because of inability to revisit this cache, and/or because it's so damn confusing when viewing the local district geocache maps. I sincerely thank all CO's for time and effort in placement of their caches. Cheers Reg.
Found and the views are cool up and down the valley. TFTC from the inspectorrexteam
Suscoe dropped by here today.

What a magic spot. It’s these coaches that make me so grateful for this ‘hobby’. Thank you for bringing us to this wonderful location. The views are incredible and the rolling clouds made it all the more magical.
Day 7 of our annual caching blitz, decided to start early as it's going to be a warm one. It's a beautiful morning, lovely views and beautiful countryside. Tftc

Travelling north to Goughs Bay for a short weekend and doing a little roundabout travel to grab a cache or two.
Absolutely magnificent location, well worthy of a geocache.
Removed several pages from the log book due to a plethora of penis drawings (I hope they are not thinking of a career in the arts), I think there are some young muggles who know the location of this cache.
**Thanks for placing this cache Clever Monkey**

TFTC! Bit sketchy when the owner of the property wondered why u was hanging around near there grader and dozer, after a simple explanation all was good and I carried on! Cache was well hidden, safe, dry and secure.
Found by Mary & David at 1010. Godbye Steve and family for this visit. After our visit to the butcher to load up the car fridge, their finances should be healthy. Heading slowly and reluctantly home after 5 great nights at the Breakaway Twin Rivers CP. An amazing view here - sunshine, trees, mountains and big skies. Our thanks to Clever Monkey.
Time for our wonderful Alexandra Mega Adventure to come to an end.. but not without us grabbing a few more caches as we meander our way home!!
Such a wonderful experience with more than 105 finds, and some milestone challenges achieved.
Glad to have grabbed this cache today. TFTC Hunting today with Minniek, darkonas delights, b0tmun, cryp1, Death_Killer, my_name_jeff and lovetherabbitohs (all logged as Team Goulburn or by individual name).

Our third day caching as the GOTHs, Geocachers of the Hills, made up by the following teams, Bushfire, Aussie M & M, mogni, Team Astro, brisal5 and 6hinemoa2. Our aim was to try to clear out caches in various spots and we had a special goal for good friend Lawrie, aka Bushfire, we wanted to bust his record of caches found in one day. This meant a desperate attempt on doing as many caches as we could on Mount Desperation, aiming to hit 200 in a day which is not my best day. So many power trails in SA do that for you. It was all about Lawrie today. Some interesting spots were found, got close to the river, and some amazing views. Thanks for the hides.
We wer exhausted after this day and half a night, had dinner at MacDonalds on the Hume Hwy somewhere in Victoria.... Only would do this for Lawrie. Thanks again, all cache owners.

Time to head home after attending the Alexandra Mega 2017 but caching on the way out of town was much more important. As one of my geo-kids told me.....it took us over 2hrs to go 15kms! Ended up with 105 for the weekend which got me to double my cache finds from last year....so happy with that result.
Logs signed as either minniek or part of Team Goulburn. Quick find here today.

A nice drive down an even quieter dirt road to access this cache. Once at the GZ the cache was quickly found the the logbook signed.
This is our fourth trip to the northern island this year. The first three were primarily for family events but with some opportunities to do some caching along the way. The fourth trip is different as caching is our focus. After getting off The Spirit of Tasmania we are heading north to cache at Wangaratta and then Yass before heading into the ACT and Queanbeyan for a week. After that we will travel to Jindabyne for a few days with summiting Mount Kosciuszko being our main target for this part of our trip. Then we will visit Cooma and Tumut before heading back down the track through Wangaratta and Mansfield as we make our way to Alexandra for the MEGA. After the weekend we will continue to make our way south and back onto the Spirit of Tasmania for the “drive” across Bass Strait. We are really looking forward to three weeks of intense caching in great areas and, hopefully, catching up with some geocachers in each of the areas we will visit.
Today was the second day of the Alexandra Event or MEGA. Again we joined others at the Showgrounds early in the morning to catch up on what happened yesterday and what was in the offering for today. We then headed out to cache in the area again. As we had completed the Trout geoart series yesterday, our focus for today was completion of the gadget caches and any other caches that we would come across during the day. In the late afternoon we returned to the Showgrounds for the final presentations – an excellent way to end a great MEGA event.
Reasonably accurate coordinates, the hint and an obvious hide location led to a quick find. the cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Clever Monkey for this and other caches you have placed in the area.
***** We are currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. On 1 September 2017 our average was 86 which seems close to the 100 target. However given that we have found so many GC caches, we have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get our average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that we can strive to attain this challenge. After 598 caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 99.7. We are nearly there and should make it before this current trip comes to an end in a couple of days time. Progress has been better than anticipated.*****

Around Alexandra for the mega event this weekend. Quick find at the end of the day. The view from up here was magnificent. Thanks for taking us here.
Grabbing a few more caches before heading home after the mega.
What a stunning view! We just had to stick around and take some pictures!

This place brought me back to my very first visit to Australia. I fell in love with places like this. I come from The Netherlands, small flat and cramped. Don't take me wrong I love The Netherlands. She has her own charms but I love the open spaces. Thanks Clever Monkey for showing this place to us.

MEGA ROAD TRIP - Alexandra Mega 2017 that is. : Day 4: GOTHS go here, there almost everywhere. [8)]
GENERIC LOGS: With Literally Hundreds of caches found during our stay anything specific to this cache will be found near the start HERE: [8] [8] [8] Nothing here means it was found quickly, the cache had no issues and we moved on!
We came. we stopped. we took lots of pictures and then went for short walk to sign the cache.
We had all come together for the Alexandra event at a lovely farmstay just outside the township. Mrs. Aussie M&M, Astro and I from Adelaide, mogni from Mt. Gambier, Bushfire from Geelong and 6hinemoa2 from Bachus Marsh. We would be filling up log books just putting our names in them so we searched for an anagram from our caching name initials. The best we could find was BATHMATs. [B)] Good grief. So we settled on GOTHS = Geocachers Of The HillS as we all lived on a hill of one type or another. [:o)] We didn't just 'turn up' and cache. Many months of planning and puzzle solving went on before we made our way over and so we had some target caches and series to have a go at. Today was the Fish GeoArt series - and anything else that was nearby in our travels. Once again the planning by the mega committee and to local cachers made our stay fantastic. [^][^]

Grabbing some caches around Alexandra during the Mega. Thanks for creating this one ifor us to enjoy.
We ended up getting all 10 Lab caches and had a great time all up.
Just before the rain hit, we arrived. Cache was soon found, signed and replaced, but then the rain hit. Funnily enough, Alex was pretty much as dry as a bone...
Thanks for bringing us to the beautiful views.

While at the Mega event with my friends Keef and the Bunadoorians (Belinda and Don), this was one of the caches we found. Love the fantastic views from here. tftc.
On a 6 day tour of Victoria with Barnzy12. Taking the red eye over from Perth we managed to visit some great places. The main reason for the travel was the Mega event in Alexandra and the opportunity to find 12 cache types in a day.
We originally travelled to Phillip bay, then up through the country side to Alexandra. Spent a few nights staying high in the snowfields and then moved over to Mt Disappointment. We then ended up back where we started returning the hire car at the airport to fly home.
Some quality caches were found all over the state, great to get a real range of cache sizes with some very large caches compared to what’s available in WA and the range of D/T options so close to each other was a bonus.
Thanks to all the Cache owners for you placements and creativity put into hiding and have awarded a few fav points based on this or the location it bought us too.

In Melbourne with Cravo10 to attend the Mega in Alexandra.
We took the red eye from Perth, leaving at 1am Thursday morning, and departed Melbourne early Tuesday morning, so it was a short five day trip.
We managed to snag a couple of nice stats for the trip. First mega event, 12 cache types in a day, 10 lab caches, 50th large cache find, and most importantly my 10,000th find at Mount Disappointment.
We spent the first day on a caching run from
Melbourne to Phillip Island where we had booked into the local caravan park for the evening. We cached all day chasing down a number of the whereigo and puzzle caches from the CF series, before ending the day caching the extremities of Phillip Island, where we had both never been, an amazing part of this country.
Next morning we cached our way to Alexandra which was the main reason for our trip to Melbourne as we had both never managed to attend a mega, which were hoping to rectify in WA next year! Attended the pre event and managed to get a couple of group FTFs by torchlight which was a real highlight.
Saturday we cached in and around Alexandra all day, chasing numbers, the highlight of the day would have to be the birdbox hides around Alexandra and the multi in Bonnie Doon from that famous TV show, a real nice touch!
Sunday was an epic caching day, chasing down 12 types in a day, which required a couple of huge drives to claim some of the rarer icons around. A huge caching stat which is a very rare feat in the Southern Hemisphere. We finished the day travelling to Mount disappointment where we found Melbourne's 1st cache and then started making a dent in the powertrail, finishing by torchlight.
Our last full days caching was spent at Mount Disappointment to chase some big numbers and with a few caches around the burbs for good measure.
Special thanks to all the wonderful COs around Melbourne for their brilliant caches, and to the mega committee for organising a ripper event, hope to be back next year!

Our last full days caching was spent at Mount Disappointment to chase some big numbers and with a few caches around the burbs for good measure.
Special thanks to all the wonderful COs around Melbourne for their brilliant caches, and to the mega committee for organising a ripper event, hope to be back next year!
With Crank1, Pwala on the way to Alexandra Mega weekend. found the cache and signed the log. Thanks for cache and hunt
caching with butchie bum, found this one with kangadrew, then we got a hail storm on the way out, nice way to end a long day caching, tftc
Thursday 16th Meeting up with 2Hinemoa6 in Bacchus Marsh and then Aussie M & M and Brisal5 both from SA in Broadford the team is nearly complete. Mogni and Team Astro will meet us at our headquarters (Maybole Cottage) for the next few days.
Day 3 Saturday Our farm stay has everything required for a very pleasant few days.
Up early and ready for a long day caching we stopped at this cache as it was on our list, soon located, log signed so on to the next. To save space in the logs we logged as GOTHS or GOTHS + 2 as we all live in the hills.
With hundreds of caches to log most will be cut and paste but I do thank all the owners for their thought and effort that has gone into placing a huge variety of hides around this very beautiful area.
Thanks for placing this cache.

Such fun with the GOTHS touring around. Lots of laughter and there was even a moon boot eventually chucked in to keep us all under control! [8)]
Found as part of my 2017 Alexandra Mega experience. This cache added to the fun and enjoyment of my trek to the east and back from Adelaide. While there were a few thunder storms, there were mainly clear skies and I never saw a snake!
Thanks to Clever Monkey and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

We are at Alexandra now and have attended the Mega, collected the Lab caches and the fish puzzles.
The countryside around Alexandra is beautiful. These extra caches are a bonus.
Found and logged under the caching collective name of GOTHS.
Thanks for the hunt here Clever Monkey

We came here today with Wilbert67 and are Headed for the Mega. Perfect weather after the storm we had last night coming down. All caches found good coordinates. TFTC
Next one on the list and had no problems finding a safe spot to park. Parked safe and followed the track up the hill to an area close to GZ. Quick find. good safe spot for a cache. Quick walk back to the geo mobile then back to town for lunch before the afternoon activities begin. TFTC Clever Monkey
A MEGA was being held this year in Alexandra, and what a fantastic event it proved to be. Fantastic location, great activities and some amazing caches all lead to an awesome weekend.
With the social event coming to a close it was time to find some caches before finding a camp site for the night.
Thanks for the cache.

There were a couple of caches down this road so I went down as far as this one and turned around. Early afternoon on the Friday of the mega weekend and already a few cars out and about in this neck of the woods.
Cheers

Today we found Pano on our travels. A humid afternoon of caching around Alexandra with Lisette and Lucy Anne. Clouds beginning to look ominous again. From this vantage point we could see rain falling over the hills in distance.
Thanks Clever Monkey for being part of our geocaching fun.

TFTC. We are in Alexandra for the 2017 Mega event. We thought that we would get out and about to find some of the local caches before too many others arrived for the weekend. Most of these were relatively straight forward finds . We did run into a couple of other teams as we travelled the roads .
Great view

Spending a couple of nights in Alexandra, gave us the opportunity to seek out a few of the many caches which have been added to the gameboard since we were last in the area. The weather was perfect and the scenery spectacular.
A FP for the "pano" here.
Thanks Clever Monkey for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

A great pano view from the crest on the road. We will eventually get to Alexandra today - it is just all these caches that keep popping up along the way that are slowing us down! LOL. SL at 11am Took: zebra Left: butterfly button. Took photos of view, trees & a small rocky outcrop on our short walk to GZ. #4448 TFTC Clever Monkey and the excuse to take the high road off the Highway!
Detail later: Up this way to do some fishing for the next month. Taking in the Goulburn, Kiewa, Mitta and Omeo Valleys. Focus is mainly on fishing, but any cache is likely to be nabbed along the way.
We are unable to log details when on the move so have used "Log Later" as a filler till we return.
Thanks for your patience and the cache. Clever Monkey.
