Didn't find it, looks like the fence has had some work done to it,
previous photos suggest the container is different to that stated, maybe it was mistaken for rubbish when the fence repair took place

Good to turn a blue frown in to a smiley today. Haven't been along here in a long time but thought it would be a good spot for a walk on a drizzly morning. I think approaching from the less obvious angle helped today although certainly slippery! Cache starting to rust but dry log. Tftc
This is a lovely little area for a stroll and we were lucky enough to have a bit of sunshine for our wander.
No problems making the find.
Thanks for putting this here

I took my eldest two out for a walk and a play after some errands and this was the one cache of two attempts we found. Thanks for the nice stroll in the shade over the bridges.
The cache was out in the open so we tucked it back in the most likely spot.

Found it eventually but its not camo unless you mean camouflaged because there is so much rubbish around...
Didn't find today. Didn't see any skulls either lol. Better luck next time maybe.
Was organize finally located by a river, possibly washed away due to weather. Unless I just can’t find it hahahah
On a road trip down the west coast of the north island. Exploring and finding some geocaches along the way. TFTC.
No luck today, area looks very clean and no sign of a cache. Time for a CO check?
As soon as I saw the skull I didn't go any closer so I didn't find this cache. I really hope that was an animal skull, I didn't investigate.
Out Geocaching in Bell Block today. The cache was a bit exposed so I put a few more leaves over it. Second find of the day. #165. TFTC.
(# 5662). A flying visit to Taranaki primarily to get the TMGT geotour caches. Day 1 was to drive from Wellington to Awakino then down to New Plymouth. A quick find. Everything in order. TFTC
Christmas day. But that is no reason to rest in when there is work to do! Decided to head into town for a bunch of multis.
But for some weird reason I cannot fully explain we turned up here. not a multi. maybe it was just on the way.
Confirmed the cache was missing, helped out the Co by installing a replacement.
Day thirteen of Taybeedragon's and my big 3 week circumnavicaching trip around Mt Taranaki, starting from Palmerston North. Today is wandering about New Plymouth. It's Christmas! Merry Happy Birthday everyone!!
Highlights:
* 3 weeks, 536 caches
* Mt Taranaki had been removed for washing, which was a bit of a shame. Even after it had been returned we were only allowed to see it for it was less than half an hour a day.
* High percentage of caches with crappy coordinates
* Amazing Pukekura Park
* AMAZING Pukekura Park light show!
* Pukeiti Gardens
* Lots of cache maintenance!

Planning for the [NZ Mega 2020](http://nzmega.com) event is well underway. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 23 to 26 October 2020. It's going to be a massive celebration of geocaching:
* 20 years of geocaching worldwide.
* 20 years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
* And it's 2020 - all the 20s!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of [this event](https://coord.info/GC87777) - you won't want to miss it!

Left camp a bit later than usual, but we are finally on our way. Our first cache for Xmas day and this one remained elusive. Arranged a replacement cache with Temp RITR log to keep this one rolling along. Cheers
Day 13- Merry Christmas, Wednesday 25 December. Around New Plymouth again today.
The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby and I are spending Christmas exploring Taranaki via geocaching. Its been an amazing 3 week adventure. Rattls BBQ was a great event, meeting many other cachers. But also managed to fit in a few more events, especially New Years Day celebrating the start of 2020. Lots of caches - over 500. Lots of cache maintenance. Lots and lots of kilometers. And lots of amazing places visited along our journey. Mt Taranaki remained elusive for much of our travels and the caches on it at the top. Loved Pukekura Park Night Lights Show and the the Wooden Mechanical toy exhibition at NP Info centre.

I'm in New Plymouth on a work trip for a couple of days. Some spare time to find a few caches as well. After work was done for the day, I had time to find a few more caches before I had to head back to my hotel. A nice walk to this cache. Found it in about the third place I looked. TFTC, Biggles.
Had to tell ZZ n Soso their feet were burning for them to spot it. Replaced with a few sticks and leaves on it to hide better
Over in the Naki with a cycle group from Tauranga. We've had wonderful weather for biking, though the wind was a tad strong along the coastline coming back after all our dallying around. Easy find. Cache is all good. TFTC
This was just out in the open so a very easy find for us! Tucked away slightly more
On holiday here in New Plymouth collecting a few caches, Through I wound go out for a walk in the Bell Block and get a few caches
Quick and easy find with the hint my gps was all over the place

Really easy find on our morning walk. Such app pretty place. Hint is exactly right.
A nice quick find, in a nice wee grotto. I removed the lolly pop, not a great swap item, it was starting to get soggy. Cheers.
Next stage in the holiday, up to Hamilton. Looking forward to getting there to see one of the duaghters.
Thanks to all of the COs for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Managing a few finds while in town visiting mum.
Looked a few places before finding thus one. Always hold my breath a bit when a relatively new cachers states that they put it back where it should be.
Spotted a small elephant trail in the evening gloaming and soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks for the smilie.

Got the wrong tree to begin with until miss 10 pointed out the flaw in my plan. Then it was an easy find - casual stand around while a muggle walked past though!!
