Looked in all the obvious places. The place has been recently mowed and tidied up so maybe someone has thrown it away?
Was looking forward to seeing the chooks here but alas only lonely souls greeted me. Tftc
Looked around for a while, looked in all the obvious places, Paf who confirmed we were in the right place, still couldn't find it.
We had made arrangements at the campground to stay 2 nights and headed out to play tourist. I realized that we were about to pass this cache and swung over to grab the smiley and leave a breadcrumb trail on the gps showing the way back to camp. Left George sitting in the campervan and I rushed to make this quick find. Thanks for the smiley. Zeke of Hot Springs, Arkansas, USA

Tftc log is very wet and cache was on the ground I think owner need to go a re hide in the original place
Arrived at GZ to find cache on the ground and log removed. Log is damp. Recommend cache owner places caches back in hiding spot as I am unsure where it is supposed to be.
Getting dark and torches needed. .Didn't really think we'd find the cache but spotted the guardian first. .. I name him FREDDO tftc
Stopped off and checked out this little cemetery and then on to the cache , a short stretch and there it was .

Beautiful cemetery, been coming to this area all my life to visit family and never knew this cemetery was here. Thanks.
Great 2nd find for the day for myself & geokid!!
It was geokids first time in a cemetery so geomum had LOTS of questions to answer.
My compass was sending me in all directions but we figured it out roughly & went searching.
Found, signed & swapped cache.
Geokid was very impressed with this find but he was a bit too short to reach.

Yay! Came up for Easter to go to Australia Zoo and had to squeeze a few caches in. No caretaker which bummed me out a bit. TFTC
I go past here quite often but this is the first time I have visited. Good cache. Thanks for bringing me here.
Lovely shady, restful place- if you discount the trail bike riders in the pine forest. Thanks two-dollar.

Out and about in my local area this morning picking up a few bits and pieces I needed for the garden. Decided to try for a few caches on the way home. Nice little cache in one of my favourite place so full of history. Thanks for bringing me here
This day in history
The great composer, Ludwig van Beethoven, is born.
The true date of Beethoven's birth is not known, but it is commonly regarded that he was born on 16 December 1770. He was baptised on 17 December 1770, and it was common practice for infants of his time to be baptised the day after they were born. Born in Bonn, Germany, Beethoven's talent was recognised when he was very young, but only began to develop fully after he moved to Vienna in 1792 and studied under Joseph Haydn. This marked his "Early" composing career, when he tended to write music in the style of his predecessors, Haydn and Mozart. His first and second symphonies, the first six string quartets, the first two piano concertos, and the first twenty piano sonatas, including the Pathétique and Moonlight, were written in this period.
Beethoven's "Middle" period of composing began shortly after he was beset with deafness. His music of this period tended towards large-scale works expressing heroism and struggle, and included six symphonies, commencing with the "Eroica", and including the rich and penetrating Fifth Symphony. Other works include the last three piano concertos and his only violin concerto, five string quartets (Nos. 7 – 11), many piano sonatas, including the Waldstein and Appassionata, and his only opera, Fidelio.
The "Late" period of Beethoven's career encompassed the final eleven years of his life, and his compositions reflected his personal expression in their depth and intensity. Among the works of this period are the Ninth Symphony, the "Choral", the Missa Solemnis, the last six string quartets and the last five piano sonatas. Beethoven died on 26 March 1827, but his legacy lives on in his brilliant, expressive compositions

Last stop for a cache on the way south today, other things were kind of on my mind. But I pulled up in front of the cemetery, and just as I got out of the car, three random chickens start heading over. Sounds like a joke, but no two brown ones and a white one just wandered over. I think maybe they wanted to make friends, but well I had a cache to find, so ducked under the fence and headed over towards GZ. It did not take to long to find my way to the right spot and retrieve the cache.
After replacing I headed back to the car and the chickens were still loitering around the area. So I gave in and dug into my seed and nut mix for a few seeds for them. They seemed to enjoy them but I had to head off, else they might take all my seeds.

Heading to Nanango for their 1st Event I stopped here on my way. I love visiting cemeteries and this is a nice one. Found the cache safe and sound and added our John Henry. Thanks two dollar for placing the cache here for us and others to find. Cheers! [^][^]

Love coming to cemeteries. GZ for this one was clear, and I was delighted to hear a very noisy frog croaking in the downpipe [^] The cache was a quick find. TFTC, two dollar.

#834 - I have lost count of the number of 'play' days Iolanthe and I have spent together now, but they're always a lot of fun and are more profitable than when I go out on my own.
The cache was easily found and we signed the log listening to the sound of a green treefrog.

Heading in to pick up the mini-me's. I knew there was a cache in the forrestry area somewhere so I pulled off the highway, turnes on 'live' mode on the caching app and hoped for the best. I eventually came across this one - I had forgotten this was in here and was actually excpecting a different one.
I had a brief read of the cache description as I wandered in and wondered what could be meant by the 'resident guardian' comments. I soon worked that out when I looked at the pics - I don't think I met THAT guardian, but dis meet three curious, but shy ladies who wandered over to me, saw I had no food then pecked away elsewhere.
Oh yeah, the cache is why I was here....it was found easily in good condition. Thanks for the cache two dollar

Today I thought of the good old times when every Thursday Nyssaflutterby and I would venture out. Today Nyssa was kind enough to take me to some of her more memorable caches and now I understand why. We were greeted by 3 chickens at the entrance and Jelly the wonder dog had to stay in the car. GZ was found quickly and the log was signed and replaced as found. Nyssa told me about the problem she had when she replaced the cache. Oh dear. What a lovely cemetery, if there is such a thing as a lovely cemetery.
Thanks for bringing us here two dollar.

Doing a circuit on a little afternoon excursion with Jasper doggy, while teenagers catching up on homework.
I can't remember coming down this road before - now I know where it goes...
Quiet at the cemetery this afternoon. Passed through and to the likely hiding spot - a few spots checked then a stretch and I had it.

Having arrived at "Remembering the Anzacs 100 years" event by seirra1 | GC5T2KM | and set up camp, time to find some .
Fairy Mother had followed me down from Gympie and we teamed up, and headed off.
Now I know what all the roadworks on the Hwy are for.

These little bush cemeteries fascinate me, although this one was a bit bigger than some I've been in. Coords were about 9m out by my GPSr but my cache sense drew me to the right spot. TFTC
Found at 0732. A nice spot with the noise of Dirt bike in the background being the only thing to spoil it. TFTC.

Sunday. Slow Puncture ventured up Sunshine Coast way to pick up a few caches.
On our way back now, we detoured off at Roys Road and worked our way inland until we came to this well-maintained cemetary. Uhoh! Our entrance is being blocked by a very healthy-looking watch-rooster! We see that someone must look after it as there is a bowl of water at a bush near the entrance. We gave it some leftover salad roll for a bit of variety. It seemed happy and gobbled at us when we did so. We told it to hide if the Colonel's truck went by, and then it clammed up! Sorry...[xx(]
As an aside to this little meeting, we also found a cache, nicely tucked away right where it should be, nice and dry. It seems a shame no-one here will ever truly rest in peace. given the blare of trailbikes in the nearby forestry area.
This was the 7th of 7 caches we found on this trip.
Thanks [Blue]two dollar[/Blue], for showing us this interesting place.

After a DNF at Baxter Falls I was still in need for my cache of the day. Dabom81 and myself decided to stop off here on the way home. I love this little cemetery, it is so peaceful surrounded by the tall trees. You could imagine it being used in a horror movie.
Dabom81 found the cache with no problems. I signed the log and then put it back, but oops not in the right spot Nice one Nyssa! We then spent the next couple of minutes rescuing the cache from the wrong hidey hole that had swallowed it. Luckily with a long stick we managed to set it free. Dabom81 then replaced the cache back where he had found it. All good with this one.

Needed to claim a find for the 15th birthday of geocaching. Planned a bush walk to grab one but the geotoddlers were acting up and my poor body was still suffering from the gym this week so I ditched the bush walk and grabbed this nice and easy one close to home that I hadn't gotten around too. Thanks for the cache. Nice easy find.
Last one on the way home.

Out and about this morning and what a beautiful morning for some caches. I parked nearby and wandered over to GZ.
It was a nice quick find this morning as the cache container was easily spotted as I walked to GZ. Maybe a different camo colour would work better.
The are was very quiet this morning, just the way I like cemeteries.

#1008 @ 3:46 pm. After meeting the CO of this cache earlier today at the Pi Day Event in Buderim (Hi again!), I thought it only fitting that I retrieve this cache while I am dropping my son out to his father. Two of my children's paternal great grandparents are buried here, though sadly I could only find one clearly marked today, and sadly there are far too many names I know buried here. I did think only last week of putting a cache out here as it is a very peaceful final resting place and certainly holds a few of my life's saddest memories. TFTC two dollar.
Had to settle for 2nd place tonight. We saw the notification come in but we were busy at a scout camp. When we saw no FTF log we thought we would have a look. TFTC two dollar.
We got the notification around 9pm so Hubby (Mal the chippy) and I decided to go for a drive...
